Bartenders are friendly and engaging. Plenty of parking and easy to get to. Only reason I knocked it a half star is the service on the bar side can be slow or feel forgotten about sometimes but it just depends on the time of day and if the bartender is having to do double duty or if they have dedicated wait staff in that area.

The space still has the old style character from when it was first opened. During lunch, the place is always packed. Now, I don't eat beef and I always get the prime breast chicken with onion, pickles, cheddar cheese, grilled jalapeños , tomatoes , and mustard. Most burgers come with French fries that are wonderful and the bun is great. I had to stop eating the fries and the bun because I was falling asleep at work. Now the catch here is that most burger places that serve chicken tend to taste like chicken cooked with beef flavor - not at burger express. The chicken tastes like charbroiled chicken without the beef aftertaste. So now I have the chicken burger that looks like more of a salad. They always are accommodating and every time, produces a nice burger that I completely enjoy. That and a bag of potato chips is enough to be filling and keep me awake at work.
