Let's be real, a McDonald's is a McDonald's. That said, we come to this location probably twice a month because we have three young children who loooove them some chicken nuggets. The big draw for this location though is that it's fairly close to home and it has a play place. My kids absolutely love the play area here and I have to admit that it's nice to have a spot that they can eat dinner and get their pre-bedtime zoomies out. Also love that they have a restroom inside of the play area as well so you don't have to leave the room. All of the staff here that I've come across have all been kind and the food is always brought out to us and it's never a long wait. I will say the last couple of times they have gotten my drink order wrong, but they always switch it out and make it right with no problem. Overall a pretty good experience every time we come in whether we're going inside or swinging through the drive thru! read more

Stopped by the McDonald's in Auburn, WA and appreciated the abundance of app promotions which is definitely worth using if you want a good deal. There's plenty of parking, which makes it a convenient stop, and the interior was clean during my visit. While there's no play place for kids, the self-serve fountain soda station is still open for customer use, which is a plus. The bathrooms were locked and required employee assistance to access; depending on your perspective, that's either added security or a hassle. That said, something about the overall vibe felt a little uneasy, as I can't quite put my finger on it. It's a functional stop for a quick bite, but not the most inviting McDonald's I've visited. McDonald's is a place to eat and have a quick meal, When I visited there were children screaming, yelling and nothing being done about it.

I asked for a slice of cheese on one of the sandwiches and I was charged $1.68. That is outrageous. I don't think I can justify fast food in the budget. read more

Everything was wonderful! Order correct and they brought it to my table. Ordering by kiosk fabulous. Service friendly. Even the music on the inside is classic! I heard Christian instrumentals and "Edelweiss" from The Sound of Music! These local customers don't realize how good they got it. The inside is OPEN. This is the first time in 2 years that I've actually sat inside a McDonald's. It's clean and inviting. There is a play place. I have gone to this establishment a couple of times in the past few weeks and both times they have messed up my order. Asked for either no pickles or no onions and each time one of them have had a tag that said it didn't but low and behold it was on my burger. The staff is fairly friendly but they seem to not be able to handle simple requests. Also, the new cardboard straws are the worst it feels like you have a cone from cotton candle in your mouth. For the price you pay you figure that simple modifications to a burger would not be hard to handle but at this local it is. I don't ever eat at a McDonald's expecting high quality burgers. I normally end up eating here because my teenage sons love it and it's a quick grab and go meal in our busy life's. I have never been to this McDonald's. I think everyone had come to expect that customer service is BLAH at most fast food places. Wow was I surprised to encounter the friendliest guy at the drive through. Then the young lady that gave me the food at pick up window was even nicer. I had to take a double take and make sure I wasn't accidentally at a Chick Fil A. I drove off with that fuzzy warm feeling of encouraging wonderful customer service. Shout out to them. They closed early tonight. Whatever that's fine. But I call and ask if this will be their new hours. The cashier who answered was smart and didn't answer the phone using her name, she just said cashier. I know McD's gets a bad rap, I know it isn't gourmet or fancy. I just wanted to stop and say EVERY single time I have come here, the staff has been absolutely kind and friendly and just professional. I have stopped here at 6 am for coffee, at 1 pm for lunch or random once for dinner on the way home from work and ALL times my interactions with staff especially the younger ones has been pleasant! This is my first McDonald's review but it was needed. The staff here is so friendly. I took my little here to play this morning and have a snack before grocery shopping and they are just great. They took the time to try to figure out what my 2 yr old was trying to tell them which is not the easiest thing to do sometimes. It just made me smile that they didn't dismiss her. As for the food: it's consistent. I don't go there to expect gourmet food and I'm not disappointed. But it's good. read more

I don't think I have ever reviewed a McDonalds before but I have visited this location perhaps 5-6 times now and although its not the closest McD's to my house (~15min drive from Lakeland North), I decided on an alternative go to spot after the location near Pac Hwy & kent-Desmoines Rd just started becoming very unappealing (dirty, lots of vagrants, felt unsafe- i.e., one time a homeless person came into the kids play area and started taking the kids' shoes from the cubbies until a couple of us parents confronted him. He then hung around the play area whilst we demanded he leave and of course the staff just ignored the whole situation). Anyway, I specifically visit McDonalds on a near weekly basis so my daughter could enjoy the play area with other kids and burn off some excess energy. This is the only other McDonalds with a play area that I know of within 20min drive of my house Pros: -Plenty of parking -Plenty of Staff (a serious marvel!) -Never crowded -Good wifi -It is one of the cleanest I have visited -I only ever order a happy meal and a coffee but orders have always been correct and super fast. -Great kids play area with no aggressive kids thus far - Also the staff is super friendly. They recently started mimicking Chic-fil-A's table delivery service when you dine in and they bring it to you with a friendly greeting and smile (especially, this Caucasian husky kid that's very friendly. I once saw him bring 3 sweet tea's to an old woman because she claimed she could taste sugar in...so much patience!). Cons: None so far! read more

A worker named Annabelle was at the front desk, me and my friend were low on money and had to pay with dollars and a some quarters we had. She asked us "really , you are paying with change?" First of all Annabelle some people struggle in life sometimes and have to make due with what they have . If you are gonna work in customer service please have some respect and sympathy for your paying customers . Also she didn't count the change she just took it from us and had a real bad attitude. This is an owner operated McDonald's and they don't deserve to represent the McDonald's franchise. They never get your order right even after looking inside the bag they still miss items you have ordered. Plus two separate times I have tried to order the chicken tenders I get the response we are sold out we don't have anymore even though on the order menu in the drive thru shows they still have them to order. Obviously whoever is ordering doesn't know what they are doing. These are the same people that say they deserve 15$ an hour???? I will go out of my way home to the McDonald's in Puyallup and not go to this one even though it's on my way home every day..!!!
