Started coming to Espresso Stop a few months ago, after coming only a couple times the 2 sisters in the morning remembered my white chocolate Americano and sometimes they even have it ready as I pull up if I'm already in line! This is a stellar coffee establishment, great customer service and they have good food to snack on for my commute. The owner even lowered the prices this year which keeps me coming back. I LOVE this stand and the ladies that work here are SO sweet! The coffee is almost always consistent and I appreciate that! My only complaint is that I'm never charged the same price, even tho I always get the same drink(s). Really good coffee but they're so slow, it's painful. I would leave at times to gravity because of this. I thought lot of the times it's because there's only one person working but even with two employees, slow as ever. I probably won't continue to come here sadly. My friend experienced the same slow service at a different expresso stop and she's switched to another expresso place already. No place is worth waiting the 15- 20 minutes. So I moved to Edgewood and started coming here (I'm being honest) when the Starbucks line was ridiculous. And now I just skip Starbucks altogether. Of course the double line option is amazing but the coffee is awesome and they have so many other options too -- energy drinks and food for breakfast and lunch. Great coffee. Bad customer service. This place is a 2 minute drive from where my husband and I live and was our go to for the past year. We've spent hundreds on hundreds of dollars here in the past year. My husband paid 100$ to receive a 100$ gift card plus a free $50 gift card which he gave to me and worked on using the $100 card first. Today we pulled out the $50 gift card because we had gone through the $100 gift card only to be told that it expired. (?) we purchased it end of December. Apparently it was valid only from January 1st through the 31st. That gift card has 41$ on it and is going into the trash. Mind you, the only reason we purchased the $100 gift card was because of the free 50$ gift card. No one told us this when we purchased it and no one reminded me of this the one time I used it in January. They could've transferred the money into our regular rewards card or something but instead they said there was nothing they could do. Had been going here for years as it was the best coffee in Edgewood and the girls were the best and so friendly, and it's conveniently super close to my house. I have no idea what happened to this stand but it has become extremely unimpressive over the past few months it seems. All the old girls are gone and every new barista I've encountered is less than pleasant and unfriendly. Coffee has also turned into garbage as well somehow. Went through and got bagel sticks for a quick breakfast before a work meeting the other day, just to go to eat them and the cream cheese was literally a frozen solid block? So much for eating that morning lol. Contemplated bringing it back on my way home for a new one, or my money back, but decided I just won't be coming back here period. This is my favorite coffee stand in Milton. They open before 5:00 and are unfailingly cheerful and personable. They are even patient when I want to try something new but have no clue what it is that I want. So give these folks a shot. They are in a great location on Meridian (caddycorner to Safeway in the Walgreen's parking lot) and are my one stop in the morning on the way to work. read more

This is really sad for me, as we have visited this stand regularly for over 10 years, but it has completely changed. All of their long-term employees have been let go and replaced, which is a huge loss and reflects poorly on ownership. They were the reason this stand flourished. I gave it a few chances with the new staff before I found out what had happened to all of their previous crew. The coffee is terrible. And I mean terrible! I binned it and didnt even drink it. I'm super sad to be changing my review. Espresso Stop was SO GOOD about 3-4 months ago. They've sadly lost all the original girls that have been there as long as I remember, treated them very poorly and replaced them with new people that no one seems to care for (no offense). The coffee is not nearly as good. The girls just aren't nice anymore, they don't seem to care like the other girls did. They lost some REALLY good employees and that's super unfortunate. You guys should start listening to what your employees are saying, especially when it's more than one girl saying it.. read more

Espresso stop was one of my favorite coffee establishments of all time at one point. But with the recent change in staff the quality has diminished severely in my opinion. Some of the new girls aren't friendly and can be actually quite rude and condescending when ordering from them. I'm hooked!! I stop by at least 2x a week maybe more. It didn't take long at all before my order was remembered each time I pull up to the window. Nice touch!! I even have added a 3rd drink for my daughter and these ladies get it right all the time. My dog gets a lot of love just adding a great touch of service. My wife wanted coffee from her favorite shop so I was going to make that happen on this beautiful Mother's Day. With six cars in line I waited nearly 30 minutes to have my 20oz filled at best to 16oz. When I left there were 12 cars in line, poor souls might make it home by lunch. First time here. The line was short and moved fast. My daughter was getting a little fussy so I asked if they sold small cartons on milk and they said no. They filled up her bottle for her and I was pleasantly surprised to see they only charged a dollar for it. My mocha was great. There are a few other coffee shops that are closer to me, but I make the extra drive for the Espresso Stop as the coffee is great!! The employees are gorgeous, smart, friendly, and they know how to make a great skinny vanilla latte!! When I'm not on my way to work, my dog comes with me to the Espresso Stop and they always give her a treat! Not sure what kind of treats they have, but she absolutely LOVES them! She actually drools as she waits for the treat! It's really funny cuz 1) She doesn't EVER drool and 2) I give her treats all of the time, so they must have really great treats to make her mouth water like that! This is my favorite place to get coffee. The girls are always nice to customers and love our dogs. The coffee is the best in the area. I have a picky order and they have done it right every time! They remember their customers and what they drink. I absolutely love this place and so does my dog. He literally waits by the front door on Saturday mornings because he loves the way they treat him!
