We are frequent drive-thru customers, as this is our local store. We feel so lucky to have this McDonalds as our neighborhood location, because the staff we interact with is so amazing. We have been lucky enough to get to know many of the folks working here, who always greet us with a smile. Our orders are always quickly delivered, accurate, tasty (we love a cold, crisp Diet Coke an Unsweet tea) and our interactions with the Mill Creek McDonalds team gives us energy for the day. I cannot say enough about them! Low expectations to begin with. McDonald's no longer will assist with ordering you must use kiosk it's obvious they want to cut labour costs. I saw a senior struggling placing an order. Staff member said "you will have to wait ". I ordered McDouble with no salt. The meat was a bit undercooked and extremely greasy. Fries cold. When asked if they would replace them they asked do you want that's there pointing to the fry station. I preferred not to and waited 2min. Table and dining area was dirty and beverage station a mess. read more

We are regulars at this location in absolute love coming here, but today was extra wonderful so I wanted to leave a review. The managers here must treat their staff really well, because we always have excellent service here. They also have a great playground for kids, which is indoors. Our food always comes out hot and tastes great. This is our favorite McDonald's. The gentleman named Sunny gave extra great service and made today feel extra special. I've been to a lot of McDonalds; It's not something I'd add to the highlight reel of my life. But out of them all, they're always nice at this location and very rarely mess up my order. Tonight I had a situation where the app was acting up and the code wasn't working properly and the cost was going to be $25 vs the $13 with the app deal. Paloma was a rockstar and figured everything out. This was not a quick situation, however she was so kind, patient and gracious and figured everything out. One of the worst McDonald's I've been to... took over 45 minutes to get my meal. They asked me to park in a specific spot but there was a car there. They forgot the bbq sauce also and it wasn't worth the drive back to ask for some. Consistently disappointing. read more

Manager said it would take a couple of days to refund my $33, they ran out of food, they were busy. This particular McDonald's is top notch. I did not get the best picture, trying not to get people in it, but the seating and tables are nice having big circular, cushioned booths. The employees are what first got my attention as we entered I saw a young man enthusiastically carrying out a customers food to them. Figured it was just him but when we placed our order we saw all staff had been very well trained in attentive, polite Customer Service! Also enjoyed the choice of uniform of black slacks with grey shirts some what matching the black background of the menu. So to this Store Manager or the person in charge of training I thank you for making it a priority and teaching these young adults so well! read more

It won't matter when you come - you're going to be sent to a staging area. It's Sunday evening with two customers inside, and a truckload of employees inside. No excuse - just poor management. If you go through the drive thru, and the voice on the other end can barely speak English - double check your order before you pay. If you don't - chances are pretty good it's going to be wrong. First and last time coming to this place. I know you shouldn't expect 5-star service at a McDonald's - but this was below 1-star even. Ridic all around. read more

Carla just called the cops on me after asking me to leave in the middle of my meal. Her cashier Angela was extremely disrespectful not to mention completely STUPID, which is why this happened in the first place. And employee was cleaning my table when she brought my food and tossed it onto the table while the other employee was still cleaning it. When I asked for my money back since she wouldn't let me finish my meal, she refused. She then proceeded to follow me to my car an take pictures of my plates. What a disgusting woman. Please note before you read this review... I'm a young adult guy who eats just to do so and doesn't feel like being heavily critical of a place as my pallet is ever evolving. With this in mind as I walked in I was instantly greeted with a quite relatable short interaction that as a young adult I found quite pleasant. As for the price it's as normal as the franchise goes, reasonable prices for the food you get. The food I got today was the way it should be tasty and very nice and there's one thing that I'd like to commend the staff for and that's they make sure each customer is able to get the help they need to order. Which is great considering that it's not something that's not that common so I can tell that the managers doing a great job training and managing a young staff with a lot of potential to be solid workers. read more

Five stars is for the oatmeal which although has quite a bit of sugar, is a reasonable option which I have taken advantage of on the run. When I am in need of something that will keep me going when I have work to do, I go for the sausage and egg McMuffin. Remember the original McDonalds hamburger and fries with a Coca Cola? I am old enough to remember how good they tasted back in 1962. You can skip all of the mayo and multiple patty burgers and go back to basics just like back in Seattle Worlds Fair days. Ahhhhh.... except for the fries. The fries are not the same since they went to "healthy" oils. McDonalds has its detractors but the trick is not to eat any fast food constantly. I can find healthy options here quickly and the product is consistent at virtually all franchises. read more

I do not understand all the negative reviews for the Thomas Lake McDonalds. The location has been recently rebuilt from the ground up. This of course means the store is clean, modern and fresh looking. The location has free wifis, comfortable chairs, tvs and lots of electrical outlets to charge your phone and use your laptop. My three orders at their new location have all been correct, very fresh quality and they have some of the lowest prices in the area (for example chicken wraps are $1.59 here, $1.69 at Bellevue Square and $1.99 at the McDonalds on Hwy 9) They also have punch cards (buy so many get one free) for value meals and drinks. I recommend this McDonalds, but remind all it is fast food. For fast food, it is 5 stars. Also, the split drive through was pretty much needed as their lines are so long they needed traffic flow management. read more

A few months ago we moved to a neighborhood that is fairly close to this McDonald's. Since then we have spent quite a bit of money here lol It's very convenient and I dont think we have had one negative experience here. The customer service has always been great. The restaurant is clean inside, the drive thru is fast and the food is good. They have a few of the self service kiosks and seem to push customers to use those which we don't mind using. My only hope is that they get wiped down since I saw the reports on what is on those screens. Eek! I honestly feel like the employees are friendly and go out of their way to make the experience there better than a typical McDonald's. Plus you can't beat their iced tea! Yum! read more

So last Sunday morning. I planned on going to the McDs by the Barnes & Nobles in Lynnwood. I went there and I got screwed. They couldn't fry ANYTHING that morning and I was stuck in the drive-thru. Once I got out, I immediately drove to this McDs and ordered the 20 piece McNuggets that I wanted. Surprisingly, people were quite friendly in this one. Really caught me off guard as to how nice people were after having such a rough morning for myself. It was quite nice. Food came out the same as usual. I have always struggled with the slow drive thru at this store. I hoped the Mobile Ordering with a curbside pickup would be a better option. It was a WASTE OF TIME. I sat in their curbside pickup spot watching 7 to 10 cars go through the drive thru and get served ahead of me. Take a lesson from Starbucks and get your curbside people out of their quick. The staffs are very friendly and helpful, the foods were really fresh, good and delicious. My son had a lot of fun at their playground.

I went through the drive through to get nuggets and yogurt and I got pulled forward for 5 minutes because they had to make more yogurt. The nuggets were "extra crispy" and the yogurt was still frozen solid. read more

Well McDonald's tastes really good. Their fries are the best! But when it comes to cleanliness and staff this branch isn't good at it. Every table I went to was dirty, the staff was not friendly and open at all including the manager. The drive through person was kind but not so clear when he spoke. They wasted my time and then when I waited in line all he did was give me a receipt with a number on it to call which I went straight to a voicemail. With the remodel I expected the Drive-thru to be much more efficent and things to go a bit smoother; looks can be deceiving. Similar to what you see for other reviews as the order has been messed up and to be honest, I think it takes longer with the split drive-thru. People reading this, you will get your food, don't cut the other person off, that's just rude.
