This place is terrible. The location is going downhill fast. Cannot get a 'family' meal anymore on a delivery ... they shortchange delivery service (Grubhub) orders. We got a 12 piece chicken meal and all it came with was 2 tiny sides (for a meal that is supposed to feed 4-6) AND NO BISCUITS - now they charge $1.70 FOR EACH one. Add to that the chicken was incredibly greasy (far better in the past). And all this for the same price as the previous family meal. Sorry Poopeye's, you are off the restaurant list from now on, unless your management steps up. FOLLOW UP: Ok Edwin, we will see. Time will tell if all there is are words and no action. I will be watching these comments for improvement.

I placed an order for a 10 piece family meal regular with 1 chicken breast, 3 legs and 6 thighs with biscuits, red beans and coleslaw. When I received my order it came with 3 spicy chicken breast and 4 thighs (7pc total) And what's worse there was a tiny hair in my biscuits which were hard as rock. Even more the coleslaw was half full. I was so disappointed. I tried calling the 2x branch and no one answered. I don't drive so I couldn't go there. My order cost me almost $40. I ended up having to spend more money to compensate the missing food for my family members. I sent several messages to their support team ( Jessica and Valentina R.) I've called the branch multiple times no answer from none of them just messages from them pretending they're going to help! But still I haven't heard nothing since 10/06 and this happened on 10/03 and it's already the 12th

So this is a follow up to my initial review. Please understand that this review is for all popeye's chickens, not just this particular location. I have visited several, and this was my latest visit As a sort of test, I wanted to see the quality to be had at each location and if it varied. The quality did not vary. They consistently served unacceptable food for the prices they are charging. Gone are the days when it was mostly chicken with some breading The tables have turned and now it is mostly breading with just some chicken. The manager at the everett location was very accommodating and very nice. However, the quality of the chicken still did not improve with the replaced meal. It was explained to me by the manager that the chicken is pre-cut when they get it. Some of the replacement pieces were two inches long and mostly breading. I attempted to call popeye's customer service to inquire. As to what has changed to make the quality of the meal go downhill. It is all automated and yeah, they end up sending a link to your phone, which leads to more dissatisfaction. I decided to look into things a little further and found out that it is owned by restaurant brands international. It appears their US office is shut down. They hide their phone number for their toronto location. When looking to see who restaurant brands international's parent company is, it shows 3G Capital, which I am very familiar with having worked for them at one point. 3G Capital's focus is to curb costs and cut corners no matter what. Popeyes has lost my business. My replacement meal is in the trash. If I was a franchise owner, I would be furious. Even fast food is an investment in dining these days, and nobody should be serving cheap (not inexpensive) quality garbage food like this. It's a waste of food.

3Pc Signature Chicken Combo Mashed Potatoes with Cajun Gravy

Well I haven't had anything from this location but they got my order correct and it was almost hot and the chicken was crispy and moist. I had ordered the three piece signature chicken with the Cajun mash potatoes, I was surprised at how much I liked the side it had a really authentic Cajun spice to the gravy only problem was it was a small serving.I also shared a six piece ghost pepper wings with my son, I found them to not be that hot and a little overcooked so kinda meh for them, the biscuit was just ok kinda dry coulda used some of the Cajun gravy. All in all not bad I'll oder from them again if I'm in the area.

    What a hot mess.

I got two piece spicy chicken and shrimp basket, side of mashed potatoes. I've been to Popeyes before. Many times. Fairly recently even, in the last few months. But this Popeyes was kind of ...terrible in comparison. Their fry was off. It was less noticeable in the chicken except that it looked uneven and splotchy, but on the shrimp! The shrimp was what I could only describe as gummy. Several of them had half the shrimp without batter, which made the shrimp extra tough. The seasonings were still excellent but boy was that rough. They also forgot to give me my cocktail sauce, which is mostly just sad for me. The mashed potatoes were fine. I think this place has some seriously abusive relationships in the back. There was a lot of yelling and threatening of throwing things. And my goodness it was a mess. Anyway, I guess I'll either drive down to Renton or skip Popeyes while I'm here in Washington. Probably better for my health anyway.

This is a great Popeyes location. I was craving fried chicken, so I ordered the spicy fried chicken via DoorDash. The chicken arrived fresh and the sides were also very good.

I had laulau elsewhere recently, so I was interested in trying their version for comparison. Last laulau ordered here was in 2018! We took 99N all the way to Everett Mall Way to avoid the I-5 commute traffic (4/23/26). We were immediately seated and provided menus & ice water. Pretty much the same interior, no overhead music, and straightforward table service. There were three others dining onsite, but also later overheard phone orders taken followed with brisk takeout pickups. They also have the capacity for catering with product, prices, and serving pan sizes posted on the wall. The Homie ordered the loco moco with overeasy eggs, plus their standard cheeseburger. He was pretty happy with the outcome. Consistent to his previous experience, but also took note of the quality and reasonable cost for the cheeseburger. I opted for the laulau plate which came with the requisite two scoops steamed rice and one scoop mac (Hawaiian style macaroni salad) with a sizeable laulau. I unwrapped the outer ti leaves and cut into the taro leaves (steamed like spinach) to reveal succulent pork and tender butterfish inside. This was great with a little added shoyu. Spot on delicious! The ice water also hit the spot. Perfectly chilled without any aftertaste from a pitcher. None of that tepid water in a stoppered top glass bottle or carafe. Refreshing! Overall satisfying meal at a reasonable price.

I would say it's about a 30 min wait to get your food, we ordered ahead online which was convenient. The dining area was really messy, since majority of the tables were littered with people's trash and leftovers. Understandably, they were prioritizing the kitchen because of the amount of pick up orders they were receiving. We each ordered 10-piece bone-in wings, a side of fries, and veggies. I picked out the hot honey rub, which was my favorite. The garlic parmesan was disappointing since the seasoning was lacking. The wings here are fried nicely, but the fries are oddly soggy. They were still good though, due to the seasoning. Also, the ranch here is so delicious! I don't know why, but I'm addicted to Wingstop ranch. Make sure to order extra if you love to dip. Overall, it's a great place to pick up some wings. Just be considerate of the wait time and cleanliness due to staffing.

I had to add a sauce of my own to eat it. The original hot had some flavor but overall very below average. The wings were overcooked and very chewy and hard. It definitely worked on me - usually specials are relegated to a small corner of the menu, but here they are front and center. I couldn't resist and so I got the Pot Roast Dip. The bacon jam and sandwich dressing makes the sandwich really sweet, but the Angus sauce is very salty, and so when the sandwich is dipped it all balances out interestingly enough. It was good to try, but I think I'll order something else next time. I also got a Mocha latte- very smooth and delicious. I would get this again! Since then, a Georgian couple, I think they are Georgian, has taken over. I was in the mood for a Philly cheesesteak in addition to trying something different. After my perusing of the menu I knew what was going to be my pick for the evening. I live in Everett and this place is just right down the freeway, which is a short jaunt considering it is the Boeing freeway and it's not a bad drive at all. After pulling up, i headed inside and it wasn't crowed at all. I did a quick look over on the menu and glanced at the available slices and was greeted warmly by the husband. I knew what I wanted but it was going to be a split order. I let him know that I was going to eat in first and then order to go afterwards and he was welcomed to it. I first ordered a slice, the meat lovers or pepperoni and sausage. And Caesar salad. The salad was a regular portion but they have a larger as well. The slice was decent. The majority of pizza parlors throw slices back in the oven for a quick reheat and this was no different. Great crisp, not too greasy and the bite was good. My favorite local spot is Brooklyn brothers but this was not too far behind. The salad was good. Classic romaine, chopped to bite-sized pieces, excellent mouth size and the dressing was on point. Croutons, which were plentiful, and I enjoy that, rounded out with a good amount of shredded Parmesan. It wasn't the best but when you have a good caesar salad it's damn near good enough. After my first palate cleanse, i went to place my to go order. A Philly cheesesteak and their kachapuri. The cheesesteak was simple, just meat and cheese, which is my personal standard. The kachapuri was their pizza dough, a mix of cheeses and Georgian cheeses and an egg yolk, that was added father it was cooked. It was accompanied by a slab of butter. The cheesesteak was delicious. It was meaty and cheesy lol. The dough was soft and absorbed all the drippings of the meat and cheese and each bite was perfect. There an always better cheesesteaks and some are standards but this one set a great mark compared to my poach offerings, even the ones that cheesesteak in their namesake. I was happy. After I wolfed down the first half, I saved the rest for the next day and dove into the Kachapuri. This was my first time having this dish and it was a great choice. Be warned that this is a heavy dish and very rich. I had to spread it out over the next few days but each reheat was great and never did it decrease in flavor or quality. The flavor is extremely piquant. Savory, creamy and the addition of the yolk and butter just brings it to another level. Again, it is heavy and should be paired with something lite, salad, vegetables, a tame meat or subtle fish but if eaten on its own, good enough. Check them out and if you're curious, go for the cheesesteak and if you're in the mood add the kachapuri. You wont regret it.
