Terrible experience. The drive through worker literally hung out the window and took a bong from the car in front of us and was smoking it right at the window. So disgusted and will never be coming here again. So unprofessional and I am honestly so grossed out. We left the drive through and did not get our food because it was absolutely ridiculous. Mixed review for me. The food quality has actually been pretty good and consistent. Order time has also been acceptable. What's not acceptable, is practically every time I go through the drive thru, and order routine menu items, they want me to pull forward and around the building to wait for order to come out. Given I have to exit from the east side of the property, I have to go back around the restaurant again. Many times, as soon as I park around the building, they bring the order out. I mentioned it to them today, and informed them it won't happen again, as I will go to a different location from now on. It gets old, when it's practically every time I go there. After all the ridiculous changes McDonald's has done to their restaurants, in the name of efficiency, the one thing they are supposed to be known for, they can't seem to accomplish without silly parking games. I ordered an ice cream cone on the mobile app. When I got to the store the ice cream machine was inoperative. I asked for them to refund my purchase and the said "no ". They told me to come back another time and explain the situation. I did and was given the runaround over a $1 ice cream cone. My sweet Jesus!, lol the store on Ellsworth & main gives me the wrong iced coffee every time. I complained once, but now I see they might have a vendetta out for me. Every time I go there, I order 1 or 2 iced large extra extra caramel coffees. Every time I come home with it there is no caramel in any of it. Their store is ALWAYS clean, the people are friendly, and most of all the food is fresh and served in a timely manner. In there this morning 5/13/25 trying to pick up an order. Slender dark headed girl totally ignored me, after about 5 min a Hispanic male picking up for Uber came in. She went over to him and asked if he was there to pick up an order. He showed her his phone, she said she would get it. I stood there and watched her make his order then come out and hand it to him. I also deliver, have never experienced this. I decided to call the store no answer, she's probably the manager. While on the phone she said something to me, I didn't respond. My order was mainly drinks. I am never rude to employees, I understand that things happen but this was totally rude and unprofessional. I placed a mobile order for an order of medium fries and a large iced coffee. I pulled into a spot designated for mobile orders only. In a period of 10 minutes, I observed 3 customers who arrived after I did and enter the store and walked out with their mobile orders. I waited a few more minutes and then called the number on the sign in front of the parking space and told them I was outside in spot number 1 and was wondering when they would being me order to me. Burgers were extremely sloppy and thrown together, and we found multiple hairs in our cold fries. Tried asking for more dipping sauce when they handed us our food, and the girl at the window didn't know English and had to ask the manager. They gave us ONE ranch, and when we asked for a couple more they said that they charge for dipping sauce. Asked the manager if they had any Grimace plushies for the happy meal for our daughter and she rudely replied "we have no idea what toys go in the happy meals" which seems like a stretch. I ordered two plain McDouble and received them with cheese. When asking for it to be remade, they took back one of burgers saying they would bring back our order. I kept one of the burgers because I had touched it to see if it had cheese. Food laws say that restaurants can not take back any food or drinks after it has crossed out of the kitchen. As I work in food service, I did not want to give back the burger I had touched out of respect for those laws. Instead of coming and tell me that I had to give them back both burgers, they made me sit for at least 10 minutes without coming out to tell me the stipulation. They were not going to come inform me that I had to give them both. I had to come back through the drive thru and speak to them despite having been parked. The manager on duty at 10:30 tonight smirked at me when I pointed out their failure. This location consistently never seems to amaze me! I would say maybe 2/25 orders from this location has been accurately made. I have never in my life (I'm 42 years old) have ever received a raw burger from any mcdonald... But guess what.. I have from this location. Workers are over worked pissed off and frankly have horrible customer service skills. One starting hitting his head on the glass and making stupid faces out the window. When I ignored him. He came out of the front door an approached my car. I then told him to go away.
