I placed an order at 12:10 am that I didnt receive until 12:56 am, and I got lucky because two people in front left before ordering, it couldve been MUCH longer. I received my order of 2 5 dollar meal deals, to which I didnt receive one of the small fries and one of the burgers, which I upgraded to an extra patty, I had to ask at the window for the 2d drink to which they still didnt realize they missed a whole meal, so I only got the drink and nuggets, not the upgraded burger with an extra patty and not the small fry. I also got the buy 2 get 1 for 1 dollar double cheeseburgers, to which I also ordered with an extra patty, I received only 1 of 2, and it had no cheese, and it didnt have the extra patty. This was an insanely awful experience, complimented by a rude phone call where I asked if they were open because when I placed an order and showed up before they had a cone that said they were closed. Also the guy at the window didnt say word to me besides questioning me asking for the drink. I understand things are slow and imperfect in late hours but this was just incredibly ridiculous and unacceptable. read more

My boyfriend went up to them and asked for buffalo and they said to pay for it which an employee said 25 cents and then he said okay can i get buffalo and then she repeated and said that it will be 50 cents which she ups the price! And then he said again okay can I get buffalo and that he's gonna pay with Apple Pay! And she then said okay 54 cents! Going through the drive through and ordered to 1/4 Pounders. Paid for them and at the pick up window I was told to pull up to wait for my order, so they would be "fresh". After about 10 minutes my order came out but was short one burger. I told the girl as much and she took the burger and disappeared. About 5 minutes later a little white haired guy came out with a nasty attitude as if I had made the mistake. We exchanged unpleasantries and as I'm driving off I look in the mirror and see him flipping me the bird. Not sure what the wait was about because my food was far from fresh. If I could give a ZERO I would. Not only was our girl (the guy said her name was Sidney) extremely rude in the drive through, it then took 30 minutes to get our food. They're running a 2 for $3 meal so I ordered that. After being told I could not get a muffin instead of biscuit I decided to change my mind. The lady was NOT happy. Seriously. Her tone changed instantly. As I write this I'm literally stuck in the line. It's terrible. I'm sure my food will be wrong seeing as she didn't even give me the opportunity to tell her what condiments I wanted on my burger. It was right, surprisingly, but it makes you feel really valued as a customer when the lady hands you your food and drinks without saying a single word. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!! Manager Chris was a jerk and very unprofessional! I ordered my kid a happy meal and it only had 3 nuggets in it and I brought it to his attention and all he said was "damn kids can't count" talking about his employees! Then we had a large fry with a meal and it came out to be a medium fry and he said sorry there's nothing we can do about it. Place was a mess and no changing table in bathroom! I travel with my husband for work , his family lives in Hutchinson and on our way to Kansas City we stop in Mcpherson and get McDonald's breakfast every time, this is the BEST McDonalds in America ! I once heard a chef friend say that fast food was excrement (sounded better in French). If that was true, the service provided at this place would clearly turn this place into an obvious metaphor for a large pile of excrement (the people who work at the drive-though are included in this metaphor). Early morning breakfasts are usually pretty awful in my experience. You have a less than 50% chance of getting what you ordered, the way you ordered it and when you finally exchange the wrong thing and get the bacon, egg and cheese bisquit you ordered, the bacon is like bacon-flavored rock chips, the biscuit dry and hard. My friend was just complaining to me how the last two times he went through the drive thru in the morning, he received the wrong food in his order. The service is usually friendly, though. Later in the day, I find everything fried has a horrible bitter taste which I have to assume is from old grease, used way too long, or some additive in it. I have noticed this at Sonic and Wendy's as well. First thing in the morning, today, the hashbrown did not have that bitter taste but they usually do when I have taken a chance and ordered one. I generally find that the food from McDonald's in other towns and states tastes much better. Maybe they just have enough business to keep everything fresher. More attention to detail and throwing out rock-hard bacon, biscuits, etc sooner, could only help bring the quality up of this McDonalds. read more
