For a small town, such as Lindsborg I'm always a little bit surprised when I remember there is not just one, but two really decent locally owned and operated coffee shops. During our last visit, we stayed at an air bnb that was really close to the Blacksmith - which is the other local coffee spot in town. I'd gotten used to popping over for an am coffee before visiting my in-laws, when I walked over one morning only to find that they are closed on Sunday. What?? After the initial shock wore off I remembered that just down the street there is the White Peacock, and I was overjoyed to find them open and full of happy baristas. The White Peacock has a really charming, comfortable, non pretentious vibe to it. It's bright, filled with local art, and really gives off a feeling of them wanting you to stay and enjoy your coffee. They offer are large variety of flavors and the last time I was here I picked out a cardamom iced coffee - I loved that they were paying homage to their swedish roots and had to try it. It was wonderful. I hate that I'm always such a skeptic when it comes to coffee in small towns, but the White Peacock has honestly proven me wrong so many times over the years it's earned those five stars. Pro tip: If you decide to come on a Sunday plan to wait in line since they are the only coffee shop open. I managed to time it just right but when I walked out the door the line was at least 10 folks deep!

A great piece of Lindsborg's unique downtown is The White Peacock. We stopped in for some coffee and were pleased by the beautiful layout and ambiance. If you ever make it to Lindsborg this is a must stop coffee shop!

I love The White Peacock. A great atmosphere for studying or catching up with friends. the service is super friendly, and I am always excited to see the artists of the month wall. My favorite items from the menu: turtle frappe, mango sunrise, chicken bacon ranch sandwich, and the meaty Swede on an everything bagel! Students get 10% off!

What a pleasant little coffee shop! Loved that they had work by local artist. We bought the homemade cinnamon rolls and a white mocha lavender coffee with almond milk (It's delicious!!) Friendly employees and nice locals. Not too far from the freeway and worth the stop. Stop by the nearby Sandzén gallery if it's open near Bethany college. It's small but beautiful!

Atmosphere? Yes! Goodies? Yes! If I lived in town, I will make it a point to come here as much as possible. The back courtyard was what dreams are made of. Everything was amazing. Highly recommend

Charming. The coffee and pastries are excellent. Merch lines the walls and books and games line the shelves. There is ample seating, from lounge chairs, to tables for two, to tables for a group. They have a lovely patio with fountains and additional seating. They support local businesses and artists, they recycle and reuse, and they get their milk from their "favorite, local Dairy Farm," Hildebrand.

What a cute place . Service was excellent. Environment was amazing . I did have a piece of zucchini bread that was amazing . Frappe was excellent. Thank you for your service. Much appreciated.

Surrounded by bookcases and books, this is a perfect place for a meeting or a study group! As a matter of fact, there were bunch of small group guests in the restaurant. With friendly welcome, I tried to order the lunch sandwich on the top of the menu but all I could say was "This sandwich I don't know how to pronounce" and the server was like "I got it!" It's displayed as "Det Baste" - I am sure it means "The Best" in Swedish. It turned out a very simple sandwich but it was delicious - turkey, cheese and berry sauce between croissant and hot pressed. I never had hot pressed croissant in my life. The size wise - it could be snack or small lunch. I loved the quote on the wall (see the pic). I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this restaurant.

Great little stop on Main Street. Select menu items and lovely aromas! Staff was kind and helpful. Enjoyed sitting in the window while I ate my sandwich for lunch.

Cute coffee shop and a pretty courtyard in the back. We got the Italian sodas and they were amazing! In my opinion the strawberry basil was the best out of the black cherry and lime raspberry. Even went back for another strawberry lime before we left. The limeade was also amazing! Overall delicious and great service. Definitely recommend stopping by if you are near town or coming back from one of the parks.

They have the cutest most peaceful little garden courtyard where we ate breakfast.

The breakfast prices were very reasonable. Friendly staff. But the real show stopper is the courtyard garden in the back. It's beautiful, peaceful, and the perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee! Felt like vacation.

I wish I could have stayed for a meal, but I had a great gluten-free lemon bread and appreciated the selection of tea. Great service!

Amazing atmosphere and good service. Great-tasting "daily drip" coffee and the biscuit sandwich was very yummy.
