I ordered a double dip of cherry limeade sherbet. It was a stingy double dip compared to other Braum's. It was not entirely frozen. It had a distinctly weird aftertaste. I love this flavor normally but it made me uneasy to eat it. I told the people behind the counter that it had a weird aftertaste. They said, "Ok" and laughed when I threw it away. If you don't have Braum's in your area, you definitely need to hit one up in the Midwest! Hands down some of my favorite ice cream! You can order off the menu or buy containers in their grocery section. I highly recommend the Peppermint or Cappuccino Chocolate Chunk. During the holiday season, try the gingerbread! And a fun summer flavor...cherry limeade! As for food, you can get anything from bags of burgers for around $6 to a strawberry poppyseed salad for around $8. First off this is a great small town concept. Delicious burgers and hard ice cream mixed in with a small grocery aisle. Need dinner, a delicious ice cream dessert and a loaf of bread? Braums is your place! The sherbet and walnut ice creams are great! The staff here is friendly and attentive. This location needs a good spot shine (wipe down the walls, detail the floors, etc). So docking 1 star for that, but otherwise you should definitely check out Braums if you ever run across one in a small town. read more

Quarter pounder with fries was delicious! Quite a handful, hot and fresh. Went back later for a Mixer, chocolate ice cream with butterfingers. So good. We don't have braum's in our area, so we will definitely stop again when traveling! read more

Stopped during a road trip because we love Braum's, and they don't have them where I live. Unfortunately, we had a less than desirable experience. We had an employee who must have been new helping us. We asked for a sundae which was made COMPLETELY wrong and looked disgusting. When we told him it was wrong, he kept telling us "I made it. I'm making the other one you ordered, right now. This is the right one." The sundae had 2 scoops of ice cream, caramel sauce, and nuts. Not even CLOSE to the birthday cake sundae we asked for. We asked another employee who was very sweet and helped us right away, and taught the other employee how to make it. Perfect managing skills right there. I applaud her for this. The second problem was the missing spoons. We asked for spoons, and they only gave us a couple, and didn't fill the spoon bin which would have solved the issue for everyone. I tried out the grilled chicken bbq bacon sandwich which was really good. I loveeeeeee pickles, and there were the perfect amount, which never happens! As we were leaving, I saw the same first employee who wasn't very friendly walk outside as though he was waiting for his ride, and he yelled "F*** " Really loudly and drug it out as long as he could. Totally unprofessional, and not a good way to represent your place of work. I definitely think he needs some extra training, and a talk about how to respect himself and others in public. read more

Never been here before. Flavors aren't posted so I had to google them and they didn't have what I asked for and when I asked what they have the very rude woman goes "chocolate, strawberry, and 24 other flavors". It took a couple of flavor guesses before I found one they had. Once given my ice cream, it was regular chocolate chip cookie dough and it was given to me with bit of mint ice cream in it. My guess is they didn't clean the scoop in between but I don't eat mint ice cream so it got thrown away. I didn't ask for a new one because they were already acting like we were inconveniencing them even though there was only one other person there and they had already ordered so no one was waiting on us to be finished. read more

Ordered a chocolate chip malt and Hamburger ketchup only. They keep the ice cream scoops in old dirty water to keep them clean I get that, but the person that made my malt apparently didn't bother to look and see that the scoop they used had old wet sugar cone all over it and in the first 3 sips I found all of the soggy bits. It was disgusting. I asked for only ketchup not extra extra ketchup. The assistant manager did come out to tell me there would be a wait on the burger as he was going to make it fresh for me. I guess there's that. In the future I will pass by McPherson and keep going to Salina. I've never had an experience like this in Salina. read more

I went to this restaurant twice over the weekend to have their grilled chicken salad. In my opinion: The price was right, the salad was decent and the service was fast. Riley who took my order was very friendly. While the building could stand a remodel as it is a little dated. The food is always very good. If I make it back to McPherson you can guarantee I will be back. Overall a good experience for a fast food chain! read more

After spending all day at a Base Ball Tournament, Decided to stop by and get dinner for the ride home. Drive thru was packed so we decided to go in and order and use their facilities. Placed our order # 208 and expressly told the person taking the order this was to go. We knew we would have to wait because there were several orders placed before ours. The other numbers were called ahead of us - and we were thinking OK we are next - nope - three orders (one order had 5 different meals) with it that were placed after ours were called. I went to the counter and asked about order # 208 - the young lady looked at me and said and I quote "your get it when we get it done". OK then - another 10 minutes went by and finally our number was called and of course it was on a tray and I informed the same young lady that this was a "to go order" and was given a very dirty look. She them proceeded to basically dumb both order of French fries into the bottom of the bag and then throw the sandwich's on top of the fries. I asked her for some napkins and she said - "all out" and I siad well i see you gave some to the other people that have gotten orders" - she replied "those are for dine in customers or drive thru customer only- carry out orders do not get those. Filthy ! Everything was filthy...employees were sitting down behind the counter doing nothing when they could be scrubbing that place . Dirtiest Braum's I've ever been in ...and it was empty. I must have been the last one to get the message not to go there. Health department needs to be called in . I wish I had taken pictures to post on here . No paper towels in the woman's bathroom . I love their ice cream! However, I will only buy containers from the market area. The last time couple times we went in to purchase an ice cream treat/sundae, the workers were messy & the dessert area was FILTHY. There is a general lack of care. The managers appear to have the same lack of care and don't push for cleanliness, the inside tables are never clean. Freddy's moved in down the street, it may cost more but it's always clean, the workers are pleasant, and the frozen custard delicious. read more

Burgers aren't too bad if you're lucky enough to get them hot. The atmosphere is definitely lacking. I visited there not too long ago and their drink machine was leaking a puddle that was just one old lady with a walker away from a lawsuit or a "help I've fallen and can't get up" commercial. No one was doing anything about it except for throwing a rag over the mess and maybe, maybe a wet floor sign. I can't say that service is rude, but I definitely got the sense that kids were running the place. I don't mind people having fun at work (I've done the teenager at the burger-flip joint job not all that long ago), but it shouldn't be so noticeable to the customers. Plus, I ordered some kind of brownie, chocolate ice cream, chocolate syrup, whipped cream concoction (I swear they used Little Debbie brownies, and I abhor Little Debbie brownies), and it took just a little too long for the hamster to get rolling for the dude who made it for me if ya' know what I mean. Awful. Just awful. I went here with my team. The staff was super unpleasant. Rather than greet us with a smile the lady muttered "This is f***ing b******t". You know whats b******t? The fact that I ordered my burger first, plain, and received it last with everything on it. And that has happened not once but twice. My girlfriend and I went to this Braums for breakfast yesterday morning and i cant say i have had a worse fast food experience. We walked in, and you could almost already tell that things in the restaurant weren't running smoothly because it was taking the cashier 5 minutes to take any given customers order. We stood in line for about 15 minutes before even getting to order our food. Once ordered we sat down at a booth and i kid you not we did not get our food for an an Hour and 20 minutes and we were not the only ones. People were going up to get their money back and leave and it was very tempting! Can't Blame these people. When new customers walked in the door to see and hear the complaints from everybody else who had already ordered, they walked right back out as they should. They had drive through cars waiting at the window for 30+ minutes. What could have changed this experience for the people who did stay and wait for their food would have been some sort of compensation, however there was nothing. Id give this experience 0 stars if i could, wont be returning. read more
