Ordered through Door Dash. Ordered Big Mac Deal and a Fish Fillet deal! So I texted dasher to make sure we get the fries, after last time DD we didn't get fries. He said he would ask them and make sure they were there. Got my order dropped off. I picked up and thinking this is too light, not heavy. Yeah I was right no drinks. So took pics and sent to my DD driver. He went back to McDonald's to get the drinks! This is a continuous problem with McDonalds on Door Dash deliveries! Not the first time or second time! Might have to get the franchise owner involved! read more

Most McDonald's locations have been out of the Mango pineapple refresher and spite berry blast so I decided to stop at this location on route to see if they had both of them drinks and luckily for me it was available at this location. I ordered right away as soon as I seen it was available for order and the wait time was not bad at all. Both of the drinks were pretty good and freshly made. Overall the service was great with no complaints at all. read more

This McDonald's was so clean! Food arrived quickly and the first McDonald's I have seen with an indoor play place for a long time!!! The play place was really cool and a lot of fun for the kids running around inside. It has its own section completely separate from the rest of the restaurant. The woman that helped us was really kind and I wish I would have gotten her name! Would definitely stop in again! read more

I just bought this ice cream at this location and it had this coin in it. I definitely won't buy here again read more

We waited 45 min for our food. We ordered inside and the number of people waiting for food got longer and longer. What a terrible way to run a McDonalds. read more

Ordered 3 items off the menu, was told to pull forward and waited 30 minutes for my food while 5-6 cars in that time got their food and passed me. Finally got my food and went home, the spicy chicken bun was smooshed and dry, the smallest amount of sauce on it, and they forgot my sauce for my nuggets. How do you have me sit for 30 minutes and forget something?? Just awful. read more

They can't read even if they do get the order correct. Not all of us can just go back. I had hesitation about going because I usually don't go to McDonalds. Confirmed why I don't go here. Too expensive to be making mistakes everytime. read more

McDonald's ice cream machine has one job... and yet somehow it stays on vacation more than your friend with unlimited PTO. You walk in craving a McFlurry, heart full of hope, only to be hit with that soul-crushing, "Sorry, the ice cream machine is down." Again?? At this point, the machine isn't broken it's retired. How is it that we can send rovers to Mars, but McDonald's still can't get a functioning soft-serve machine? There are conspiracy theories, memes, even apps trying to track which locations actually have a working one -- because it's that rare. The ice cream machine isn't just unreliable; it's a cultural legend of disappointment. read more

Got my order wrong and when I went back to complain the manager got snappy and angry at my telling me it was my fault the order was wrong I snapped back and he banned me from McDonald's Actually the most insane experience I've ever had at a McDonald's don't eat here if you have any pride left read more

Great food! The fries and nuggets were very hot. Will be coming back again to eat. It doesn't matter what other people say about this place. read more

Food cold, bottom bun on sandwich was hard as a rock. I don't normally take food back but I did this time. Also the floor in the dining room is extremely slippery. You can feel the grease on the floor. read more

Bad service closed on us in and then kicked us out 2 hrs before they closed and shut off all the lights on us

We waited 30 minutes for our curbside pickup. Understandable since it's a 24 hr place, so it's gonna be busy no matter what. But when we got our food it looked like everything was just thrown into the bag. My mcchicken was hot though so that is a plus. But my Dr. Pepper tasted like it was mixed with some sort of orange drink. Not incredibly pleased. read more

Don't bother to stop here. After experiencing the washrooms, men and women's, I wouldn't even consider ordering food at this location! No running water in men's sink and no soap in women's. Plus generally nort clean and certainly not sanitized. Ick. read more

this is a very heavily traffic to McDonald's I believe it's one of the only ones in the town of marshalltown also. I was up here after many years picking up a load of Lennox air conditioning products headed for Houston Texas stopped at one of my old stops there that getting go things are changed over there by the something to eat walked over to McDonald's.. order just a Big Mac meal the Big Mac seem like a got smaller through the years but I could be wrong I don't really eat a lot of them the fries were kind of cold to drink was okay. they were totally slammed busy apparently I think it look like there was some kind of a school game from out of town a lot of shirts look like they were about a hundred miles away kids playing I don't know if it was volleyball or basketball the service wasn't too bad the bathrooms were nice and clean.. all in all just an average McDonald's nothing great nothing bad just straight across the board read more

McDonald's - looking from the Get N Go next door to McDonald's. - Fast Food Near Me - Marshalltown, Iowa

Went through the drive thru and ordered a Sausage McGriddle, Hash brown, and Caramel frappé. I got my caramel frappé but there was no hash brown and an egg McMuffin instead of a McGriddle. Service was very fast but I would've rather waited 5 minutes for the right food. read more

Fries were cold plus they got my order wrong when I went to complain they were very rude and asked if I wanted something different and then didn't even try to make up for what I paid for the food plus nobody apologized. Also the girl taking order was very rude and acted like she didn't want to take my order like I was an I convince to her and how dare I complain. This is the first time in years since the rat incident I've been here never again. Waste of money. read more

This is the main McDonald's in Marshalltown and I came here 3 x the weekend of Nov 21-25. I ordered a large coffee the 1st time $1.35 the 2nd time a chicken bacon ranch salad $ 4.75 & the 3rd time a ranch snack wrap $ 1.39 It seems their are about 11-14 people all working in the front area....it seems a lil too cramped for all of those bodies. The wierd thing is.....when your food is ready or drinks (THEY DO NOT) call your # or anything....they just set it on the counter and whenever you notice it....is when you get your food. I'm used to Mickie D's calling out your # It's an OK location and the parking lot is huge. No complaints read more

McDonald's - cars parked in front of the restaurant - Fast Food Near Me - Marshalltown, Iowa

If I could leave a zero I would!!! My poor granddaughter got only french fries in her kids meal. Shame on me for not doing the McDonald's employees job and making sure there was a complete kids meal. The fish sandwich came with a strip of cheese, if you could call it that. I've never been to a McDonald's as poorly managed and incompetent as the Marshalltown. Shame on you for not being able to complete an order, ever!!!!! read more

Pulled up to drive thru was asked to wait a minute, not a problem. But a car pulled up to in second lane and ordered right away. Was not asked about rewards. Ordered a cookie with sandwich and fries. Pulled up to pay window. We said don't charge for the cookie, nothing said about rewards. Then was told they had no cookies. Then amount was changed. No one would take responsibility. read more

Terrible service. I went in got the order placed and waited at the two empty registers for 20 mins before someone came to it during dinner rush, nonetheless. Had to ask two times for my drinks, and they still got the sizes wrong. They also took the receipt so I was left without it. At that time I was so impatient I left. I may contact a manager for this terrible service. read more

I waited 40 minutes for a happy meal and 10 nuggets on curbside. I went in, waited another 10 as I watched what seemed to be the manager clearly high as balls bag orders ridiculously slow. Got to the parking lot only to realize I'm missing my nuggets and the fries were cold, oily and stale. It was quite busy so I would understand but waited near a hour for food that was obviously old. Never again. read more

I would one time like to come here and not have an issue. Once. I'm not someone who likes to complain. I'd just like to get what I pay for. Is that too much to ask? I'd never come back if it wasn't for my kids. I know McDonald's barely classified as food, but I would prefer no problems one time. read more

The service was poor, they gave us the wrong food once, no big deal. We went back for more and they told us 11 something so we have them 11 and waited for him to tell us the change, well he gave us change back. So we pulled up to the next window and we looked at our receipts and it only said 8.44 soooo he didn't even look and count the money just typed in 9 dollars...jipping us out of 2 dollars! We go in and they want us to leave a number to call when they're done with lunch... we're from out of town and don't have time to sit around and wait. The food was excellent but the employees were slacking today. read more

We ordered a Big Mac Meal and a Double Quarter Pounder Cheeseburger. They said to go over to #2. We watched 12 cars go around us, two gentlemen came out with orders that weren't ours. They stood talking to each other and then went back in. We waited and waited. Can't go in due to COVID. We went to the front door and knocked and waved, went to the side door where they bring out deliveries and knocked and waved. Nothing! My husband stood in the drive through lane and didn't get anywhere. Called and after the 12th ring someone finally answered and they had no idea we were out there waiting. We were fed up by then and just left without our money and without our meal. Worst service ever. read more

Its McDonald's what do you expect they have good food love the big mac it's so good to eat I will come back here if I'm hungry

Just another hamburger! They need to remodel the place very bad. Or maybe build on to make it larger! It's not very big.

Took 15 minutes to make me two McChickens. Presentation was poor. Disappointed for fast food.

It's touch and go with Marshalltown's McDonald's. Sometimes things are super hot, and taste great (well, as good as McD's can taste anyway) but most of the time the fries are lukewarm and the staff is dull, dry, and boring. Comparing M'town's McD's to Ames, when they had the special lady? Two thumbs down. Kick it up a notch McD's, you can do better. read more

Absolutely love the chicken nuggets! The fries are delicious! The nuggets are a little expensive in my opinion but overall good! The place is usually clean but I wouldn't trust the play area. Just saying you never know. No offense McDonald's but that place usually dirty. read more

After I ordered at the drive thru I was told to go park and they would bring my food out when it was ready. 25 minutes after I order I still did not have my food.
