Most McDonald's locations have been out of the Mango pineapple refresher and spite berry blast so I decided to stop at this location on route to see if they had both of them drinks and luckily for me it was available at this location. I ordered right away as soon as I seen it was available for order and the wait time was not bad at all. Both of the drinks were pretty good and freshly made. This McDonald's was so clean! Food arrived quickly and the first McDonald's I have seen with an indoor play place for a long time!!! The play place was really cool and a lot of fun for the kids running around inside. It has its own section completely separate from the rest of the restaurant. The woman that helped us was really kind and I wish I would have gotten her name! Would definitely stop in again! read more

Ordered 3 items off the menu, was told to pull forward and waited 30 minutes for my food while 5-6 cars in that time got their food and passed me. Finally got my food and went home, the spicy chicken bun was smooshed and dry, the smallest amount of sauce on it, and they forgot my sauce for my nuggets. We waited 30 minutes for our curbside pickup. Understandable since it's a 24 hr place, so it's gonna be busy no matter what. this is a very heavily traffic to McDonald's I believe it's one of the only ones in the town of marshalltown also. I was up here after many years picking up a load of Lennox air conditioning products headed for Houston Texas stopped at one of my old stops there that getting go things are changed over there by the something to eat walked over to McDonald's.. order just a Big Mac meal the Big Mac seem like a got smaller through the years but I could be wrong I don't really eat a lot of them the fries were kind of cold to drink was okay. they were totally slammed busy apparently I think it look like there was some kind of a school game from out of town a lot of shirts look like they were about a hundred miles away kids playing I don't know if it was volleyball or basketball the service wasn't too bad the bathrooms were nice and clean.. all in all just an average McDonald's nothing great nothing bad just straight across the board read more

This is the main McDonald's in Marshalltown and I came here 3 x the weekend of Nov 21-25. I ordered a large coffee the 1st time $1.35 the 2nd time a chicken bacon ranch salad $ 4.75 & the 3rd time a ranch snack wrap $ 1.39 It seems their are about 11-14 people all working in the front area....it seems a lil too cramped for all of those bodies. The wierd thing is.....when your food is ready or drinks (THEY DO NOT) call your # or anything....they just set it on the counter and whenever you notice it....is when you get your food. I'm used to Mickie D's calling out your # It's an OK location and the parking lot is huge. No complaints read more

We went back for more and they told us 11 something so we have them 11 and waited for him to tell us the change, well he gave us change back. We ordered a Big Mac Meal and a Double Quarter Pounder Cheeseburger. They said to go over to #2. We watched 12 cars go around us, two gentlemen came out with orders that weren't ours. They stood talking to each other and then went back in. We waited and waited. Can't go in due to COVID. We went to the front door and knocked and waved, went to the side door where they bring out deliveries and knocked and waved. Nothing! My husband stood in the drive through lane and didn't get anywhere. Called and after the 12th ring someone finally answered and they had no idea we were out there waiting. Sometimes things are super hot, and taste great (well, as good as McD's can taste anyway) but most of the time the fries are lukewarm and the staff is dull, dry, and boring. Comparing M'town's McD's to Ames, when they had the special lady? Two thumbs down. Kick it up a notch McD's, you can do better. read more

After I ordered at the drive thru I was told to go park and they would bring my food out when it was ready. 25 minutes after I order I still did not have my food. I called and they were not even aware that I had not got my order. After another 5 minutes I finally got my food. If the employees do not want to work they should find employees who will work. read more
