First, the good: when I arrived at the drive thru, I was very quickly greeted and the gal I spoke with was pleasant to interact with. My patty melt was very flavorful and delicious, as well as piping hot. Total thumbs up there. The unfortunate: I was the only car in the drive thru, and although I was able to order and drive up to the window quickly, I then sat at the window for aaaaaaages. By the time I was handed my food, the line was 3 cars deep. I appreciate that they were maybe making the food fresh, but holy smokes I waited forever. It is also worthy to note that the location isn't great. This is not the restaurant's fault, obviously, but it's something to know. The parking lot is ridiculous and I have no idea how there aren't constant accidents.

The restaurant was empty except for a mom and her little kid sitting at a table. There was a teenaged girl directly behind the counter sweeping and talking to a teenaged boy who was standing off to the side. I figured maybe he worked there too. I stood at the counter for a couple minutes while the girl employee continued to sweep the same area right in front of me while she kept talking to the guy. She never once said anything or even acknowledged my existence even though she could see me standing 2 feet right in front of her. I finally said hello and she instantly said I'll be right with you and kept on doing what she was doing. She finally decided she was ready to help me and treated me like I was in wrong for being there to pick up my order. I asked the boy if he worked there too. The girl said he was just there stopping by. I told her I was trying to do the same. Standards for customer service are really low these days but this girl still managed to make a bad impression. The California burrito was pretty good though. Edited from 3 stars to 2.

Everyone got something different, so for my part, I tried the caprese bruschetta and their Sunday Sauce pasta. I paired my meal with their Ginger mule mockcktail. The bruschetta was soooo good. The bread was incredibly flavorful and the feta, tomato, and balsamic married perfectly. The bread was also the perfect texture - not too crunchy, not too soft. Fresh cheese and cherry tomatoes provided the most delicious topping! My pasta was also really good. Their meat sauce was so savory and delicious, and the noodles (flat, wide - I forget the name!) were cooked to perfection. I'm glad I also got a side of toast - it was a slight upcharge ($1.50) but worth it for the quality. My Ginger mule was kind of meh, unfortunately. I think I was expecting it to be sweeter, and it was pretty bitter. The service was beyond outstanding. Our server was attentive, answered questions, and made sure our water glasses were never empty. Huge props to him. After our meal, the owner even came over and checked in. Very nice guy. They even gave my boyfriend a slice of cheesecake for his birthday for free. The noise level wasn't awful, either, and that was very appreciated as a Deafie. I was able to see everyone at the table (we were in a rounded booth) and the ambient noise wasn't distracting at all. Awesome experience, better food, phenomenal service.

No one was at the counter when we arrived so we waited to be seated. The young woman who seated us was pleasant. Our waiter arrived 3-5 minutes with chips and salsa, I requested salsa verde which took 5 minutes and had to be asked for again. The waiter returned 5-7later took our order and returned 5 minutes later with our drinks. Then the white family of five arrived and were seated in the booth behind us. Immediately our waiter was there taking their drink order. The bus boy hurriedly brought them chips and salsa. Within 3 minutes their orders were taken and given to the kitchen. My friend and I began to worry what was the hold up with our order, our waiter rushed by with a drink order lower his head to avoid eye contact or any acknowledgment. Guess what happened next the white family received their order I told my friend I am out! No way was this acceptable. As we were leaving the greeter thank us for coming stop mid sentence when she realized we were never served. My friend ask to speak with the manager , the manager was our waiter. I am not sure why we were treated so poorly, we are quiet and respectful. We patiently waited for our order. The manager decided that we need to wait til he served the white family that arrived after us first, I feel like this money is green and the color of your skin should not be a factor. If you don't want certain ethnicity to come to your restaurant then you should relocate to a place that does not have a diverse population. Customer Service, POOR! ! Food, decent!…read more As I was walking to the door, another young man appeared to be racing me. Little did he know or could see that there was a toddler in front of me that was actually running to the door that I was chasing. We walk in and two of the young men get huge smiles on their face. I guess they were excited to see the young man racing me to the door. There's 3 people on staff... 2 behind the register and 1 stocking the chips. No greeting at all. They just sit there talking to the racer walker. Finally one of the young men walk towards me but says nothing... I waited, purposely, about 2 minutes and then he says, "are you gonna know what you want" I read my order off and he calls for the young man (Seyten) that was originally stocking chips and asked if he could "sprinkle" although he was doing absolutely nothing but asking the guy that came in (Micah) if he wanted a free sandwich. I waited for Seyten to come and I didn't mind at all because he was clearly busy in the back and still turned out to be so polite.. very manner-able and when I asked him for a few things on the side, he went to the back to get a bowl then immediately changed his gloves out. I can tell he is the responsible one that they make do all the work. Micah (not currently working), Noah and especially the other young boy on shift tonight need to be fired or re-trained! Inside, it's generally okay, but I do think they could improve on sanitary practices, especially with how some of the food items are kept out and displayed. A little more attention to food safety setup would make the environment feel cleaner and more inviting. 2. Service Experience I normally order online, but sometimes I go in person. In my experience, the staff is generally nice and patient, which makes the ordering process smooth. 3. My Most Recent Visit On my last order, everything was on point. I got a Philly Cheese with chipotle sauce and extra chipotle sauce -- and they actually made sure to give me the extra, which I appreciated. The sandwich was flavorful, juicy, and not dry at all. Everything tasted fresh, and the balance of toppings made it one of the better sandwiches I've had from here. I also ordered cookies, and they were soft, fresh, and delicious. The entire order was correct, which isn't always the case with many fast-food chains, so that was a plus. 4. Pricing & Portions Prices aren't too bad for what you get, but I do feel like the meat portions could be a little more generous, especially considering the amount of bread. Increasing the protein slightly would give a better overall bite and balance to the sandwich. 5. Final Thoughts While I don't eat here often, I do come in occasionally, and based on my last visit, I was very satisfied. The flavor, freshness, and order accuracy all hit the mark this time. Rating: (4/5) -- Good service, and flavorful sandwiches, with room for improvement in sanitation setup and portion size. I'd recommend this location for anyone craving a sub here & there.
