This place is TERRIBLE. I don't go here if I don't need to; the drive thru is rarely open at night, and the customer service leaves A LOT to be desired. My daughter really wanted to come here on the way home, and I try to respect her decision but today's visit was just like every other when it comes to poor service. The drive thru had some cars, but there wasn't a line going out of the parking lot like I've seen in the past. I waited about 45 seconds at the speaker before a woman came on and said "Just one moment." Okay, no big deal. I am okay with waiting; I've worked fast food and it can get stressful. But then a guy comes on and says, "What do you want?" Not in a negative tone but more like a "Hurry up" kind of tone. I got to the window, and he didn't even say hi. Just, "$9.26". No hi, how are you, not even a piss off (which I probably would have found funny), but just the dollar amount. Didn't ask about sauce, definitely didn't include sauce. I was a little surprised a napkin managed to find its way into the bag. The order was correct though, and the food was okay. Don't come here though. Go literally anywhere else in Maricopa. If there's anything we aren't short on as a town, it's places to eat. read more

The Hispanic lady who works the night shift around 7pm needs to not be cursing at the computer screen when I place an order for my family... I order tacos and she always complains because I order 24 tacos because I have a family of 6..Shes extremely rude with her comments when we can hear her when we're in there waiting on our order.Which 1/2 the time she can't even get them right.. She needs a good talking to by management or if she doesn't like her job maybe quit...But she needs to learn to keep her mouth shut. read more

Well, we did a Drive-thru order of 3 meals, 2 were large smashed burgers meals and then another medium burger meal. On the order screen when ordering it was correct but by the time we went to the window to pay she, the Jack-in-the-box worker, gave us only 2 drinks, which means she did not get the order correct, When we told her about the missing order of a large Smashed Burger Meal, she blamed the mistake on us. She also explained with an attitude that they cannot take orders from the window, when we reordered and paid for the missing order of a large Smashed Burger meal. Then she told us to move to space #1, because the car (who just got behind us) had a small order, lol, that vehicle was still there when she brought our missing large Smashed Burger Meal to our vehicle and when we left. So lol how small was that order, lol, What happened to good old fashion "the Customer is always Right" lol What happened to a worker who wants to achieve excellent customer service, lol I have to say the food was freshly made, the Fries were deliciously hot, like I like them. read more

My hubby brought home a Jumbo Jack for dinner. I should have sent it back... The JJ has should be named JACKED... it cost much more and there's nothing JUMBO about it. It's a regular size burger with probably 73% (not the healthiest percentage) beef & a paper thin beef patty on a smashed bun with a line down the middle. The beef patty had no seasoning, two folded pickles, a bunch of mayo to hide the bland meat, two tomatoes and a withered piece of lettuce. I hate soggy buns too. I see why I dont eat at J-in-the-B. For some reason, it's a Maricopa's location thing. The burger might taste a little better in another part of a the city. My hubby left his change... The throw back Chicken Supreme isn't all that... at least it's on a wheat bun and had only 1 piece of thin sliced cheese instead of 2 diff. cheeses as advertised, one little pat of the special onion-mayo sauce and the cashier had the nerve to charge 15 cents for extra onions on the side that was withered & chopped up pieces. On last night (18 June 2025) I went through the Drive-Thru placed an order and was told to park and my order would be brought out to me. After waiting for 15-17 mins, I went into restaurant have my money refunded. After waiting several more minutes. I spoke with the young lady whom when I explained that wanted my refund. She then stated that the was now ready. I stated that I just wanted my refund and, she stated that she was unable to process a refund as she was not trained on how do so. She then referred to the young man who took my order in the Drive Thru. He then informed me that no one on shift was able to process a refund as they not trained to do so. I requested to speak the on shift manager, he stated there was no manager on shift. After a short conversation, he agreed to document on the receipt that I was due a refund and that I would follow the next day the on duty manager. Several times I refused to accept the food, due it was not my intent to get anything for free. I went back to the restaurant this morning (19 Jun 25) to speak with the manager. I provided with the receipt with the documentation on the back. I stated that I refused to accept any food. I don't know she kept circling back asking me if I accepted any food and had keep repeating no. She then stated that she would have to verify something(s) which I believe to be reasonable. After several minutes she returned stating that she was able to reach the staff from the over night shift. I stated that the name and with handwriting was Avarius (hopefully correct). She stated that it was not her fault what occurred on the previous night. I then agreed with that. It was not her fault that she was not there the previous night, but she is a representation of the company as it relates to me right now. I didn't request it to have the contact number for the district manager. She did agree to provide me that information and while I waited, she approached the counter, I move myself so that I wouldn't obstruct staff or the other customers. She then chastised moving the way I did as there were cameras recording and she was not threatening me. I reiterated that my movement was not out of fear but courtesy. After providing me the district manager's contact; she then decided to process the refund. She became agitated that and stated that she was not threatening me and that she "has been here US for 18 years" and she is not threatening nobody. I again reiterated that my movement was not out of fear. Lastly I wanted to express that I was impressed with how the young man handle the situation, especially considering everything he handled the situation very professionally. She very dismissive and snippy as I was trying to provide positive feedback to ensure that it was captured that staff did act professionally even though there was an issue. I believe that Avarius could teach the "Manager" how to respond to the situation professionally and not triggered just because a customer is politely wanted good customer service... read more

I made the mistake of swinging by here when I was moving furniture with my buddy. The person working drive thru was nice but it looked like everything was barely reheated. Tonight after attempting to go to the roost for a decent BLT but finding out they don't cook after midnight I came directly over here. I had great service a special order sandwich and also found out they are open 24 hours. Timing was quick and fast. Food was fresh and fries was hot. Then Dillion was kind and courteous and very well mannered. Way better customer service than I've ever had at this location before. But I appreciate the good meal hot and fresh and the customer service wasn't even expected but wow. Great job Dillon and also to the great people behind the scenes. read more

It's currently 3:38 AM, I work the graveyard shift and attempted to go through the drive through. A worker said two words "We're closed" and I replied ok thank you and left. Don't advertise being open 24/7 if your workers won't adhere to it. I hope someone does something about this in the future. Why o' why would you serve this? My son ordered some food through Door Dash. He ordered two tacos and a Jumbo Jack for me. He ordered some type of burger for him with fries and a coke. The Door Dash order was delivered pretty quick. My two tacos were still hot and had ample filling. It tasted pretty good too. But there was no sauce packets, which was OK. My son didn't get his lime sauce, which he requested. After I ate the tacos, I retrieved my Jumbo Jack from the bag and decided to look between the buns to see if there was enough ketchup and mayonnaise. I was flabbergasted. My mouth literally dropped. There were two burger pieces that looked like they came from two totally different patties. One was well over done while the other looked well done. I just started laughing while staring at this abomination. Why would they serve this? I know darn well this does not meet Jack in the Box standards. I should send the photo to corporate. They probably didn't expect someone to look in between the buns. Anyway, I took the burger back and the manager replaced it. Unfortunately the burger itself was bland. The reason I ordered it was because two weeks ago I ordered a Jumbo Jack at 1:30 am and it was flavorful. The Patty had flavor. I don't know what happened this time. I also ordered two more tacos and they were given to me right away. The girl said they had just cooked them. Literally the slowest service in Maricopa, either drive thru or walk-in. Frequently ignored when doing walk-in/dine-in. There are people just staring at the screens with no hustle in their step. The staff is frequently rude or burnt out. The food itself is basic and matches the standard for fast food. It's not fancy, it's just basic. If you can go to a different establishment, do that. We have family in Maricopa and our favourite fast food is Jack in the box. We come to visit every year and every year this Jack in the box has something wrong. The first year we came we wanted one of their milkshakes which they seem to make the best! They said they forgot to order ice cream so milkshakes weren't available. Next year they are closed on a random Tuesday. This last week we came in as soon as we got off of our flight and there was two people standing waiting to order. We waited 17 minutes and the two ahead of us still had yet to be helped. Why are you doing this to us Jack in the box!! The drive thru was even closed. read more

I get that this is a fast food joint. I'm not expecting STELLAR anything, however I do expect to be able to order from the menu. I pulled up to the drive thru and was greeted with "hi, welcome to Jack in the Box, we're only doing burgers and fries. No fried food." I said "what?" FRIES are fries food. At 11:25 am after putting in my order at the microphone I pulled up to the window. I made the mistake of ordering a vanilla milkshake instead of a strawberry milkshake. When I got to the window I asked kevin if he could make the strawberry milkshake. I get to the menu to tell them my name on the order and I'm told "you already picked up your order 40 min prior. ???. I told them thats not possible and i just ordered 10 minutes ago while in the drive thru line. I was bluntly told "we are not make the food again.
