Time on when McDonald closes

Place an online order when arriving to the drive-through said my code employee stated "oh... yeah where closed" in an irritated voice. I stated to her that it said on the app that they closed at 2am. She then responds no we're actually closed already we closed at 1. I already placed the order online for here and I'm here and I just gave you the code. She then states that it will be refunded and that it will be canceled. It was not canceled. I had to cancel the order because she was refusing to make the order.

Medium French fries

This is medium size fries. No joke. Going to video the handoff from the cashier next time. From their Yelp photos, this location has a habit of filling their fries half full.

Not being familiar with a town and wanting a good breakfast is always tricky. Avenue Grill had…read morestrong reviews and the food looked good on Yelp. When we got there, the place was packed. Always a good sign. We were quickly seated in their covered patio area. The seating was quite comfortable. The staff were prompt and attentive. I ordered the Potatoe Platter. Probably not the healthiest of choices but who can deny a heaping platter of country style potatoes mixed with grilled ham, bacon, onions, and topped with melted cheese. I mean seriously. I ordered mine with eggs and ordered the pancake instead of toast, more on that later. To say this is a hearty meal would be the understatement of the year. Try as I might, I packed over half of this delicious dish for breakfast the following day. Judge me if you must, but I measure all pancakes against the gold standard of pancakes, McDonalds. The Avenue Grill offered a solid pancake, light, fluffy with a slight snap, every bit a worthy competitor to my favorite. Before I knew it, the pancake was gone. My wife ordered the French Toast. Want we loved about the Avenue Grill is sometimes you just want good, simple food and this was the case with the French Toast. Based on a light Sourdough, the french toast had good flavor and came together nicely with the syrup. All in all, we absolutely loved Avenue Grill. If you're ever in the Lodi area, Avenue Grill is worth a visit.

It's set in a nondescript strip mall & the restaurant itself is small with outdoor seating with space heaters but we three sat at the bar so we didn't have to wait at all for a table. It's very casual yet chill ambiance. Parking is free & there is only one restroom for the entire restaurant. So plan ahead. My son & I had the Denver omelettes with sourdough toast. My wife had her usual veggie omelette with no cheese but with sourdough toast. When we were served our breakfast our faces lit up literally bc of the massive amount of food. And that's an understatement! We ended up with boxes to go bc there was so much food on our plate. Crazy amount! You can be sure we would return! Can't wait!

To share around the table, we split the following: - Crab Cakes - Sticky Toffee Pudding The salad and entree I ordered for myself included: - Heirloom Beets & Melon - Classic Beef Wellington First and foremost, the salad was absolutely fresh and palatable. I was not used to enjoying a salad with beets + watermelon, so now, I am a fan. The crab cakes were flavorful, especially paired with the house-made lemon aioli sauce. The Beef Wellington dish was divine. The meat was super tender, the brown sauce was dynamite and the vegetables + mashed potatoes were the perfect complements. Lastly, the sticky toffee pudding was great, as the dessert was not overly sweet. The green apples added on top provided a nice balance of tartness against the richness. Junior was my server. I appreciated his warm, friendly disposition. He was very kind and attentive the entire time. The Oxford Kitchen and Gastropub has delectable British food. I am so glad that this restaurant is located in Lodi, which is super close to my hometown. I'd definitely return.

Parking is easy. There's street parking out front, a small lot right next to the building, and the Lodi Station Parking Garage is just a short two block walk away. The decor is modern and attractive, with wall art that adds some fun British touches. It's family friendly too, and they have a kids menu. We came early without a reservation and had plenty of seating to choose from. Service was friendly, quick, and efficient from start to finish. For food, we started with the calamari. Instead of the usual rings, they come as steaks, and they were nicely crispy while staying tender. For mains, the shepherd's pie was delicious, and the chicken tikka masala was just as good. The one miss was the kids pizza. While the portion size was nice, the crust was doughy and the sauce was thick and quite acidic. Luckily my son was fine with it, but I'd steer kids toward something else. The cocktails looked great, though we skipped them this trip. On value, the shepherd's pie at $24 was a great deal for the quality and portion size. The chicken tikka masala at $32 is a bit pricey, especially compared to what you'd pay at a typical Indian restaurant, though it was tasty. Overall, the value felt fair for the venue and the food quality. They take reservations, though we didn't need one on an early Friday. We'd happily come back next time we're in town, and I'd like to try those cocktails.

Review #1,010 Posted on 9.13.26…read more We came here for our 17th anniversary on Saturday the 29th to stay for the night. This place is kind of unknown and it should be known, it's very nice. It's in Lodi in the cuts, and has this woodsy type of feel to it, serene almost too. The grounds were done really nice, and had tons of space too, very scenic. They've got a few different places on the grounds to eat at, and a huge spa which is my guess the main reason people come to stay here. The spa was very nice and a cool cool experience. The rooms are nice, just a tad odd how close they are to a residential sub division nearby where you can see into peoples yards and whatnot, that part threw me off a bit, kind of takes away from the privacy a bit. That's probably the only thing I would change from this. I would return 100% here.

Tonight, we returned for another birthday, but the experience was nothing like before. We arrived at 6:10 PM for our 6:15 reservation. Upon entering, the hostess walked right past us with another party, without so much as a "I'll be right with you." Another employee eventually asked if we'd been helped; when we said no, she said she'd find someone. We were finally seated, and our server, Monica, was the bright spot--attentive, friendly, and kept us updated on our food. That food, however, took nearly an hour to arrive, and we watched several tables who were seated after us receive their meals first. When our dishes did come, they arrived in stages--the succotash and salmon first, then the pork chop and gnudi about seven minutes later. Worse, nearly everything was cold and overdone. Pork chop: Unevenly cooked--some parts dry and overcooked, others undercooked. The potato purée was gummy and overworked, though well-seasoned. Salmon: Overcooked and bland; I had to ask for salt and pepper just to add flavor. The corn velouté underneath was unpleasant--the corn kernels were dried out and rock-hard (I circled the pieces I had to spit out in the photo). The beans were burnt, not charred, and tasted bitter and inedible. The succotash was flavorless and had 1/2 cherry tomato poorly executed. Gnudi: The lobster was chewy and overcooked, and the dish was dry--it desperately needed a sauce and a bright note like lemon to bring it together. The only course that delivered was dessert. For the price, the quality was disappointing across the board. Needless to say, we'll be looking for a new spot for our future celebrations.

A Hidden Gem! Amazing Food, Coffee & Hospitality!…read more What a cute and unique little bakery and café! Definitely not your typical coffee shop, and I mean that in the best way possible! I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of food they offer. Instead of just your usual bagels and basic pastries, they have delicious-looking breads, unique breakfast options, and even something called a croque, which I had never heard of before! I decided to try one, and it was absolutely delicious! What really stood out to me was the hospitality. The ladies working here were incredibly sweet, welcoming, and friendly from the moment I walked in until the moment I left. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers. I also ordered a dirty matcha, and although my drink was a little complicated, the staff handled everything with honesty, patience, and kindness. They even make their own syrups, which I thought was such a cool touch! It's refreshing to find a café that puts this much personality and care into what they serve. The atmosphere is charming, the food is different and delicious, and the customer service makes you want to come back. Ruby's Bakery and Café is absolutely worth visiting!
