So it is what it is! The playland area is probably hazardous if you have toddlers lots of peeling paint tile falling off the walls or missing all together. The playland itself is high but fairly small compared to newer designs of course the kids could care less they still love it! If you dont have a need for the playland this place has a very clean lobby and accurate service compared to most others! First, I will never spend another dollar at any McDonald food chain. Secondly, the management is beyond unprofessional. Remember the people you hire is a representation of your company. The young lady with the RiRi hair style proceeded to hand me my drink. When I notice a "Honey I shrunk the Kids" ANT hanging from my cup. So, I politely ask for my money back. Since we were watching our Niece we decided to take our family, which included myself, my wife, our 9 year old daughter, my wife's mother, our friend's mother, and our 3 year old niece, to McDonald's at 4133 Lawrenceville Highway in Lilburn Georgia. Having so many people with us it is hard to get everyone to provide my wife with the correct thing they want to order. Of course the two children changed their minds several times and the two Mothers also couldn't figure out what they wanted. My wife struggled to get the orders told to the server and I was so sure she was confusing the server big time. Our server was awesome and understanding. She got our order correct even with the confusion on our side of the counter. The food was ready quickly and the food was great. Thanks for having great workers at McDonald's at this location. The only issue we had was the air conditioning in the children's play area was not working so it was a bit hot while eating in there. read more

We waited over 20 minutes for food off of the dollar menu and one chicken sandwich. Just terrible. When my father went to order a hot fudge sunday the manager named Renee, upon my father asking what took so long on the sandwich, said really condescendingly that maybe they put the chicken on late. She had a real attitude, never said sorry, was not courteous in any regard, and offered no discount or free ice cream -- just nothing. She was speaking to my 80 year old father as if he was a child and feeble old man when he is far from it. I asked her her name and she said Renee. I said that we are going to complain because my father and I don't like her attitude. She said, "Fine. You know how long I have been working here? You can't get me fired." I never said anything about getting her fired. The other help then started making fun of me and laughing to the point it was about five against one. I asked one of them why they are laughing and they said it was funny. The manager said she's not responsible for the kitchen, only the front. I said where does the buck stop then and one of the help knocked on the counter and said, "The buck stops here". I said that she's the manager and the buck stops with her and she indicated it's not her responsibility. She then said, "You are one in a thousand. Nobody complains." I let her know I definitely don't believe that. I told her she is a bad manager and she kept telling me as I was leaving, "Have a blessed day". I said I'm not religious as I was in the doorway and she was still behind the counter, and she yelled, mind you again, I'm standing in the doorway leaving and she yelling in front of all the customers, "That's your problem then -- you don't have God !!!" My problem with a late sandwich is that I don't have God? Seriously, wtf ! She could have solved all this by being respectful and giving my 80 year old dad a free $1 ice cream. I'll be writing McDonalds a certified letter and if she is not fired I swear I will NEVER eat at McDonalds again. I really mean that. There seems be some fraudulent or shady practices going on at this location. This morning I went through drive thur and ordered breakfast, I was told my order was $7+ when I got to the 1st window the cashier didn't have my order... it was weird because I was the only car in drive thur. She told me to pull up to the 2nd window. The next cashier gave me the total again but when I handed her my card and asked her to scan a coupon on my phone she said dang I thought you were paying with cash. She proceeded to take my card and my phone and walk off. I no longer could see she and that made me uneasy so I honked to get someone attention. She came back and gave me story about having to redo my order in the system and now I owe $8+ with the $1.00 coupon. I was going to change my method of payment to cash but thought that math doesn't sound right. At that point I felt something really shady was going on so I gave her back my card and just said I changed my mind. I wanted to track this payment in case anything weird happened on my account. When I got my card and receipt my bill was $6.03. So why was I told 2 higher prices previously when they thought cash was involved?!? I'm never coming back to this location again. I try to look at this place like I was managing it. This location gets heavy traffic on the weekend. They have 3 registers. I have NEVER seen them open all three. Line of people almost out the door. I've seen people walk out. I have walked out. An egg McMuffin is only worth so much time. Knowing (Mrs Manager) that your store is going to get hammered on Saturday morning, why would you not staff to capacity? Serve as many customers as you can. If locals know you can get in and out if here consistently fast, I predict your numbers sky rocket. Yeah, I know. Why open that 3rd register when you can just make people wait a little longer without increasing your comp? I say try it for 60 days. Staff your store expecting to crush it. You will. Stopped at this McDonald's after buying groceries at Kroger. Stood in front of an open register (electronic Welcome on it) at which a couple of customers ahead of me had picked up food. No worker - and there were several at the front - acknowledged my presence, much less take my order. I left without spending any money there, and I will avoid this McDonald's in the future since their customers are not very important to them. I went to the drive thru-- The young lady said "can I take your order" I replied "just a minute " about 30 seconds later I asked for a #8, and received no reply. I then said hello and still no reply. The food here was great nothing was wrong until when my kid and her friends play in the play place and a child of a worker with red braids was following her and being annoying, my child simply said ,''Can you please stop following us? I need to talk about something privately with my friends". The child said yes and left. Minutes later her child broke the rules and went into the part under the actual play place and when her mother came in (the worker) she barely said anything and started to tell my child she was being mean to her and didn't even let my child explain. My child sat there with her friends confused. My child said that she should've let her explain and the child was being immature. This is the most disgusting McDonald's I've been to. I went through the drive-through this morning. The lady that took my order said to me order when ready. When I place my order for 4 sausage McMuffins and some strawberry jelly. Was told to come to window 2. As I was driving ahead, I had to swear 3 major potholes. Round the corner of the building you can see all down the drive thru lanes was trash ( cups, straws, wrappers , etc ) . When I got to window 2 , a young lady leaned out the drive thru window and said $4.24. I told her that maybe the should get someone to come clean the drive thru. And also said to her it smell bad. She took my credit card, slide it and hand it back. And walked away. The drive thru window still open. You can see that there is a wet vac on the floor and hear it running. It was in some drain in the floor. There was another lady that walked by. She must be in training for either shift leader or management cause she had a book in her hand. She picked up her cell phone and walk by a customer standing there to place his order. She turned back order and said to he . And I quote "What can I get you !" Few mins pass by, I finally get my order and leave. As I was waiting on the light to change, I notice that I never got a receipt for my order. In my bag there is 2 napkins, 2 strawberry jelly packets, which are sticky. And my 4 sausage McMuffins. I am giving this McDonalds , just to let you know that I will not be going back to this McDonald's. I hope and pray they clean up the trash, sewer or drain issues and hire better staff. read more

A lot of things to complain about this McDonald's. Number one, they literally turned on the heater inside in the middle of late summer. Number two, they had a promotion where if the cashier didn't suggest the tenders, they gave you 4 pieces for free. But the cashier didn't suggest the tenders. However, when we asked for the tenders, the cashier lied saying that he suggested it. There were literally three people around me, and each of them said that they didn't hear him suggest the tenders. I usually don't eat at McDonalds but giving this location a try was my worst mistake. Upon first arrival the drive thru line was long, extremely long, I understand they are a big business and that a lot of people come but the purpose of drive thru is for fast easy convenience. I decided to pull out of the line and made my way inside the "restaurant". We ordered our food and I noticed, NO HAIRNETS! To imagine that the food they serve is prone to having hair within it is appalling. I let that go. My friend who joined me ordered a sundae and the man at the register who was touching the machine with his bare hands gave her a spoon that 1. Wasn't wrapped and 2. Was I touching his filthy hands !!!! He took around 2 minutes to find us a clean and fully wrapped one. At that point I was very disappointed. Later my other mate was waiting for her food for around 5-10 when she ordered first. Later he comes and asks us what we are waiting for. HE FORGOT HER ORDER! I Know people make mistakes, I let it go. Later we sat to eat and my friend points out that there is a spider on a web trickling down towards my back. What a disgusting shame. Not to mention the tables were all gross and dirty with fry crumbs and straw wrappers. I decided for a real test to take a trip to the restrooms. I regret going in and to my demise they are only 2 stalls both filled with tissue and fesses. Why must McDonalds portray their business in such a negative way?
