Just to point out that McDonald's shorts you on change. Your bill ends in $.81 for example and you will get $.15 back instead of $.19. You add that up with all of the customers that McDonald's has, they're making a boatload off of this no longer having pennies available. read more

Takes 20 minutes to make an order and by the time its done, there's a frappe two sizes smaller than what it should be and a double quarter pounder that wasn't made correctly. When I got the right size shake I found that they dumped the shake into a larger cup and added more whipped cream to account for the increase in size of cup. read more

OMG I just went through the drive thru and they had Simone standing outside to help with orders. Unfortunately, she was very busy on her phone to pay attention. I had ordered a diet coke and received a dr pepper. I drove around and parked off to the side to get the right drink. Simone then lectured me about parking where I did. I informed her I would not have had to park there if they had gotten the drink correct. She then said of I had ordered teh right drink...so I asked for the manager. Simone obviously missed customer service training. I am sure it is hard to find people to work, but she was very cocky about her role and was laughing. She then was very indignant and said I interrupted her. The manager apologized but the worker did not. I will not go back and I was a regular to get my diet coke there...no more. read more

1 star is GENEROUS. THIS PLACE IS ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS. From the lady on the speaker in the drive through to the lady at the window to the lady bringing the food to our car ALL THE RUDEST PEOPLE I HAVE EVER MET. I can't drink regular soda, we had 4 sodas, 3 regular 1 diet for me. The lady at the window told me "I don't know which one is which try it and figure it out". I let it go. Then another lady in there told me, in the rudest tone possible, "well we ain't got it, pull up" (meaning my food wasn't ready) I then asked why everyone was so rude in there. Upon going in and asking for a refund I get attacked by the manager...who tried to come around the counter with her hands in fists to yell at me. Tried to lie about that but the cameras don't!! Gave McDonald's one more shot. We ordered, staff was friendly, drive up service quick at 12:30 in afternoon. Food was dreadful. My husband took my Hamburg ketchup only back inside to return. It was a dried out burger on a dried out bun. As if it had been sitting in a warmer for days or reheated. He came back with another and one bite and I had to spit it out. Horrible! Recently I was heading to my home office from an appointment with little time for lunch. I was hungry and haven't eaten at McDonalds in a long time. I ordered a Big Mac and Fries to go. When I got home and opened the package what I saw was an absolute mess. The vibe I got from whomever made this burger was "I hate my job and I hate our customers". Practicing measures for COVID safety (masks, social distancing, etc) though our table wasn't super clean and I didn't see anyone wiping the order screens down. An employee did come along and wipe some tables down after we seated ourselves though. Food came quickly and was pretty standard for a McDonald's. They gave us the wrong sippinf sauce, but that was an easy fix. Can't really complain about the food! It was hot and they got our order right, down to my husband's 'no onions' request for his burger. Bathrooms could have been a little cleaner. They have a teeny tiny trash can in there. The part I wasn't happy about was the lack of baby changing station!! I've never been in a McDonald's that didn't have one. Ended up changing my baby on the seat of the booth and didn't feel at all bad about it. Other than that, pretty average experience. read more

Went to this location around 11:30, hoping to avoid the lunch-time rush. There were just a few cars on the drive-thru, and I walked up to the counter with no one else on line. Stood there, and stood there. No only was there no one there, but no one in the kitchen or walking around even looked in my direction. When I did see someone walking by, I asked if anyone could take my order. She snapped back at me, saying to "give her just a second , I'm very busy" and walked away. I did not say anything rude to her, just asked for assistance. She eventually (slowly) returned to take my order. When we got our order the french fries were limp and dry, and my roll was burnt. She was yelling, continually interrupted while trying to place the order. she acted as if she was not only ignorant but intoxicated. Tried to go through the drive thru on 12/9. We got there at 11:30pm. The hours say they are open until midnight. We water at the drive thru for 5 minutes and no one came. There were at least two employees inside. We just moved to the area and were extremely hungry after a day of moving. Very disappointed. read more

I wish it was possible to leave ZERO stars because this place doesn't deserve even one! I pulled up in a good mood to get my niece a Happy Meal! I had been reminiscing with my sister about how we loved Happy Meals when we were kids :) as I got to the speaker a woman says "how can I help you?" But not in a nice way...you know, like she is PAID to do. It was more of a "what the hell do you want?" way. So I was like "yes ma'am, I'd like a chicken nugget happy meal" to which, I GUESS she asked "four piece or six piece?" only I didn't hear her because my sister was telling me what kind of drink to get at the same time. So I said to the speaker "I'm sorry, what was that?" To which I received the rudest reply ever "FOOOOUR OR SIIIIX PIECE?" In a very slow manner as tho she were implying that I'm mentally challenged and she needed to slow it down for me. You know what I'm talking about. I was so insulted and angry that I told her I was going someplace else where they don't have shitty attitudes about doing the job they chose to work at. I mean damn, it ain't my fault if she was having a bad day or hated her job...I had been nice to her. As I drove off I heard her replying in an overly exaggerated, sarcastic way "have a nice day." What a jerk! Happy 4th of July to you too lady! I drove 10 mins (20 mins total) out of my way to go to another McDs so my niece could have her happy meal. It was 6 am on a Saturday morning and the place was spotless. The bathrooms were some of the cleanest I've ever seen in a fast food restaurant. The workers, sadly, had attitude problems and it was very obvious that they didn't want to be there, they didn't want to work, heck, maybe they didn't want to continue living? Who knows. All we ordered were 3 Egg McMuffin meals. The hashbrowns were incredibly greasy and tasted like old oil. The McMuffins seemed like they had been under a heat lamp for a very long time - eggs were rubbery and chewy, the cheese was like plastic and the English muffin was whole wheat and so dry it almost crumbled to dust. I have never, in my life of loving Egg McMuffins, ever had such a sorry excuse for a breakfast sandwich. The Mcdonald's at 1111 New Point Blvd, Leland North Carolina had absolutely horrendous service. While I understand it's a little bit busier there with the two drive-thrus, we had two relatively simple orders; 3 McDoubles and a number 4 with Hi-C. End order. One was paid for with card, and one with cash. I paid with a $20 bill, and they were short change. "We're short in change, is that okay?" She said it was about a quarter, but it was two quarters, a dime and a nickel. Prior to this, while we were ordering, she asked if we had ALREADY ordered when we had not. She then continued to say "Did you order this?" numerous times after I said no, we didn't. After doing this about three times she finally yelled, "I can't hear you." Whoever my cashier was this morning deserves a RAISE! I came right at 10:00 and she made my day! Very sweet, got my order perfect, even double checked at the window before swiping my card. I appreciate her sweet compliments and wish I got her name. She had beautiful gold beads and puka shells in her hair. As a former fast food manager, I would give her a raise in a heart beat. This McDonalds is closer to my home and I refuse to but from here. They are always forgetting food at the drive through. I'm not even exaggerating, out of the 4 times I went through, either a toy was missing from the happy meal, a drink, a sandwich, etc. Not to mention that the person giving me my food looked so greasy and dropped my sauce packet on the ground, picked it up and also picked up a fry from the floor and tried giving me my sauce with her one hand while still holding this disgusting black fry in her same hand. This is the biggest dump of a McDonalds that I've ever been to. There were flies everywhere and the customer service was slow at best. The double cheeseburger was an embarrassment to cheeseburgers everywhere. The "burger" patties had been shoved in a plastic drawer for so long that there were literally dried out to the size of a half dollar. The fries were fresh. That'll be my only compliment for this crap hole. How they get an A rating and a 95% from the board of health is beyond me. Do yourself a favor, go into the Walmart instead and buy something that prepackaged. It'll taste better, be cheaper, and you'll be less likely to get sick. read more
