I have tried to give this franchisee the benefit of the doubt, but they FAR value ticket times over food quality. I have complained on the McDonald's App, got a cookie cutter response from the Franchise Owner, but their food quality continues to be ABYSMAL. Sadly they have a "captive audience" being the only one in Ladner. I was there again Sunday June 14th, 2026. In the drive thru, before I left the lot, Fries were BARELY like warm, no straw in the bag, got a Coke Zero not a Diet Coke, no receipt in bag as asked for, drive thru attendant(s) could not be LESS attentive, opened Filet-o-Fish and it was slid off the bun, sauce all over the box, like it was shaken or dropped, it and the Quarter Pounder with Cheese and Fries (as mentioned) barely barely barely like warm. This Franchisee cares more about ticket time and profit (Temporary Foreign Workers Program) than ANY semblance of quality control OR customer service/satisfaction...... Where do I even start with this place. My partner and I waited over 25 minutes for an order. After receiving our order we walked out as we'd had a long night. We were starving. We got home and realized they gave us the wrong drinks and wrong food. On top of that, it was also cold when we got it. Unacceptable. read more

Prices are getting ridiculous. Just paid $4.08 for a medium fry that was Cold and half Empty - as usual - on top of over $13.50 for a 1/4 Pounder w/Cheese Meal. The least could do is fill-the fries up properly as there is about .06 to .09 cents of potatoes in each slip. Insulting disregard for their customers. That is absolute highway robbery and why I am no longer going there unless I have coupons. I should also add that since they started hiring mostly TFW's the service has declined considerably, as we had 2 orders screwed up at the Drive thru (missing item in one and wrong item in another). Poor, slow and error prone service. Ordered a double Quarter Pounder burger and it took 15 minutes.

Painfully slow service, no matter what time of the day... At least the food items are fresh. Strangely designed building for a McDonalds... looks like a suburban bungalow. Brightly lit and spacious; interior. Best bet for a quick meal with the kids before the ferries. Just beware the slow service. read more

I must say I'm a sucker for the pre-cookie-cutter McDonald's. There are quite a few of them scattered around the city if you know where to look. This location is shaped like a renovated church. It even looks like there are bedrooms upstairs, though these may be purely decorative. Yes, you can worship the ice coffee and Big Mac gods here. Parking is available in the nice huge lot out back. Special mention goes to the patio area. If you cover the golden arches, it looks like a classy cafe. They also have a busker sometimes, who adds to the festive ambience. The food is just what you'd expect. Cheap and delicious. read more

2nd time here our flame broiled hamburgers were warm at best sent them back. They apologised made us new ones. The service and food I receive here is typical to any McDonalds, so that's not a problem. The problem here is a certain member on staff. Though she never spoke to me, the way she spoke to her coworkers is appalling. I'm assuming she's a supervisor or manager or something along those lines based on the orders she was shouting, but regardless of her rank, no one deserves to be spoken to that way. "I don't want to hear your excuses! I don't want to hear your excuses!" "No, that's not good enough, make it again. You have to make it again!" Teaching your coworkers and staff how to do their job is one thing, but to scold and embarrass them in front of customers is another. Mcdonalds is a huge employer of teenagers and young people, therefore the managerial staff should be more kind, empathetic, and understanding. I feel sorry for anyone who works with her. read more

10/10 customer service award should go to Dannica I believe her name was. I come to this McDonald's every night to get my Large triple triple coffee. This happened to be the 3rd night in a row coming through and getting a coffee that isn't even mix! The coffee taste disgusting and it's, a big observation that you can not taste the sweetness in the coffee! I ussaly never complain about something like this but I have spoken to many of the regular guest that sit in the back corner and they feel the same way! But Dannica was so polite and delt with the situation amazing she's so smart and noise what she is doing as a Manger. She's one of only Mangers at that Mcodnalds that noise what she is doing! This location is so-so. I've had quite a few experiences here with long wait times even with full staff and one time they completely forgot about my order. That being said, the customer service of the employees is absolutely fantastic. They made sure they made me everything hot and "fresh" and gave it to me right away with a "free" coffee from the order they messed up.
