not only was it hard to deal with the cashier do to a basic English barrier . but she got my order completely wrong. then I decided to eat my fries and found a giant hair in my fries . the workers were in the back talking in their native tongue and it took forever to even get my wrong order. Came here to try out their food. We've been here before, a long time ago. The place is really clean and the staff are really helpful. We've ordered their Friday Special Bayou Burger. The burger was really good! It was really fresh and hot. The sauce they put in the burger was sweet, kinda like teriyaki sauce. It has coleslaw-style vegetables in the burger as well which I think added extra flavour to the burger. The fries weren't that bad as well. Really hot and fresh and no salt, but really flavourful. I would've given this place a 5 star, but I think, in my opinion, based on my experience with other places we've eaten at, this place in on the pricey side. We've spent $42 (for 3 people for 3 burgers) that's like $14 each. I think it should be $10 each, would be the ideal price in my opinion. Overall, very good experience. Really good burgers! The first time I ever had Fatburger was in Macau, HK and I only order their fries because when I saw the burger I thought it was too big for my appetite at that moment. So lucky me when I found out there was a Fatburger Vancouver! The burgers are very filling with their AAA grade beef patties, which are made to order with all the fixings you can choose from, from relish to onions to jalapenos to tomatoes to mustard. There are extra toppings for a small fee like cheese or bacon. The buns are soft but kind of fall apart amidst the bounty of toppings. No matter, either the tray or burger wrapping will save what's fallen out for you to consume later. I enjoy their semi-thin cut fries because you can add their special shaker spice. Onion rings are okay, I think A&W ones are better with more onion and crispy batter. Their large drinks are bottomless - really love how they have lemonade. Milkshakes are thick, smooth and rich in flavour with the whipped cream being light and tasteful. Their minidonuts are bigger than usual ones at the fair and are more dense. With the added caramel dip, it's artery clogging goodness. Overall, always friendly service and I enjoy the retro feel in the dining area. Good place for a fresh burger. Next time I'll be trying out their "secret menu" as Matthew B. has nicely tipped. read more

We've been there a couple times in the past year and both times the burgers have been extraordinarily good. So far, this is the only Fatburger I've been to and I'm blown away by how good they are. Lots of flavour, the meat is very tender and tasty. I typically prefer not to taste the meat in my burger (yes, lots of condiments) but they are an exception to that rule. I don't think I've enjoyed a restaurant burger like this in probably over 25 years. That being said, the prices are steep. We've gone with coupons both times. As much as I enjoy it I'm not sure I'd pay full price, specially with a family of 5. I do appreciate the selection of free add-on's for their burgers but when considering the price I think they could provide a larger serving of fries or make them bottomless. The fries are decent but they don't stand out to me. Bonus points for the place being clean. From what I've seen over the last couple years in Richmond's fast food places this is saying a lot. I've not dealt with the staff much so not a lot to comment on there. Nothing stood out. read more

I've been to this location a few times as I work in the area and have never been terribly impressed. The quality of the food is hit or miss, and more often than not it's a miss. Weather it's just poor preparation, lack of attention to detail or just plain carelessness the result is a sloppy burger... And not in a good way. The front end staff are friendly at least, but the cooks don't seem to care much and that's reflected in the food. read more

I'm always pleased and satisfied when I come here. They're selection and variety is quite excellent. All day breakfast is awesome. The quality of their burgers are quite good too. They Staff is always 5 star. Friendly and professional. Please remember to tip well. They deserve it. Having said that. I've never had a situation where they didn't deserve a fat tip. read more

The burgers are good, the poutine is GREAT! Fatburger essentially has a forced audience because there's not much else to get here burger-wise so we are kind of forced to pay the crazy high prices (for quick serve food) unless we want to leave town. Pricing is, of course, decided by the franchise, not the store owner though. Aside from the pricing, Fatburger is great... although I never understood the concept behind the name... LOL read more

Disappointed on food pricing for the quailty I received. I have never been to any fat burger locations and this is my first one. (This is my second time visiting and reminded me why I chose not to eat here 1 year ago) I ordered a original burger and combo fries and drink. That somehow came to the price of 14 bucks minus the change. Reading the signs and posters in the reatruant made me feel like I'm getting something good. However it soon struck me that the burger taste very bland and the bun was so soft that it was falling apart. It's great for people with bad teeth but it was underwhelming for me. Not sure why the vegetable is very tasteless and doesn't seem fresh, although the beef patty is very easy to chew and sorta juicy. Fries on the other hand is very good. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. That's how I like it and I rarely find a place that has that. Also it's very salty, maybe share some of that salt with the burger would work out a bit better. Service is really not a concern of mine in a fast food chain..so 3 stars for juicy not tough patty and fries I like. Price still doesn't justify the product in any sense though because if you compare fat burger to any restaurants like Red Robin's & White spot, it doesn't stand a chance in my book.
