This mcdonalds is literally the most disgusting, unorganized, unprofessional mcdonald's store that i've ever encountered. THEY LITERALLY RAN OUT OF SODA FOR MY COMBO and couldn't give me any replacement (since i paid for it!!) and the worker made it seem like they would give me a mcflurry for free but low and behold they charged me for it. ALSO, on another occasion I ordered spicy chicken nuggets and they gave me regular nuggets. They didn't have anyone at the cashier window and there was clearly no communication between the workers bc the guy at the second window had no idea what my order was so I had to say it again to him. We went during lunch time yesterday and we expected a long line but the line was relatively short. We got up to the drive thru menu and it was broken. The digital screen was shaking the image and it was flashing making it very difficult to read. Then the employees voice came through the speaker saying sorry but we have no water meaning we can't sell beverages! I thought to myself with no water then how do the people inside including the employees wash their hands or flush the toilets? Anyway I ordered something simple. Bill came out to under $20. We drive up to the 1st window and pay. Drive to the next window and waited about 3 mins, I could see the car behind me getting upset. Someone pops their head out of the pick up window saying we can pick up our order in the next window. I said ok and drove up. At that window we waited 7 mins! While we waited the car behind us were waiting too and they became so irritated that they drove off without their food! Then 3 more cars behind me proceeded to get their orders. We were so irritated! Ordered the kids 6 piece chicken McNugget meal at the drive through at 4:10 PM. It was not crowded. They provided 3 pieces. I guess counting to 6 is not a prerequisite for hire. Friendly, CLEAN!, and helpful. Such a great experience here. They delivered our meal, and helped when we needed more assistance. Staff offered another table to take their trash. I discovered they have packets of SALSA! All food was cooked to order. Love the kid meals! Choose apples or Gogurt, choco or white milk and fries. They carry the latest toys! I prefer the Santa Fe Springs McDonalds on Rosecrans and Valley View. Always a bad experience here since the Imperial and Leffingwell McDonalds opened. This rating goes high for me, mainly because its brand new. However, that's not the only reason per se. This location has been open for about a month (from my understanding) and the location is brilliant! The structure is a good size and the parking structure has good space as well. Here is my ratings based on categories: Food - The food is always important. I ordered my go-to for breakfast, the Egg McMuffin meal with a coffee. The sandwich was well prepared and was stacked nicely, layer on layer. The coffee was the usual McDonalds coffee taste but it was served very hot, which I like personally. Service - Cashier was very friendly with smiles. I ordered the food and the food came out in less than 5 minutes. The restaurant was empty but still, the service was on point. As for coffee refills, the manager went around the restaurant with a coffee pot serving customers. If you're looking to eat at McDonalds around the area, I recommend coming here. It's new, clean and the food & service are better than other locations. read more

So I have been holding off and resisting returning to his location despite it being the closest to my house because I always get piss poor service here. Well I decided to give them another shot and again I am gravely disappointed and let down. I got there at 11:04 am ordering what I usually order on Saturday mornings which is the deluxe breakfast platters for myself and my girls. The lady over the intercom tells me that they are no longer serving breakfast but it's past the time. I asked her what happened to breakfast served all day? They told me that due to covid they no longer offer that. This is February 27th 2021! Not 2020! So you mean to tell me while the rest of the country is pretty much wide open again and California has seen great improvement in a flattening of the curve and hospitalization and two vaccines are out and highly effective and a third one just over the horizon...Well most businesses are starting to return to business as usual and Orange County looks like it's going back to indoor dining next week... With all these steps forward McDonald's decides to step back and use covid as an excuse to remove breakfast from it's all day menu? She could have given me 10 other excuses I would have accepted...but not that one. I ended up going to Jack in the box a half a mile away where breakfast is served all day. So we hate "COLD FRIES" and when placing our order I ask for "FRESH HOT FRIES" which they than send you to a secondary booth. I do not mind the additional wait time but to than give me "COLD FRIES" is not acceptable. Incredible how bad this McDonald's is. I was so happy that La Mirada was getting its own Mcd's to contribute into our economy. I love supporting local businesses, big and small. I can't say how many times they get our orders wrong. When I do check the bag, the order seems correct but when we get home or I get to work, I see that it's not. I order the Sugar Free late, 3 out of 5 times it's regular. I can't test taste it because it's not for me. The breakfast sandwiches are correct on the screen but the person putting the food in the bag might just not care. I've been holding back from writing this review but I had enough. The 3rd time I picked up an order here with "sweet tea" thats not even sweet. Where can i start, well for starters just like everyone in here states, the service is HORRIBLE!!!! Several times the store manager Erika has been notified and yet the service is really bad!! Hate this place! The bigger brunette worker with ugly eyebrows is always rude and has an attitude every time I am here. Why does she work here if she does not like customer service. AVOID this particular McDonald's! It's one of the worst ones out there. I've a bad experience with this branch before (about 2 years ago) that's why I stopped patronizing this branch. I went to the drive through to place my order and was asked to go to "Station 1" to wait for my order of large iced coffee. After over 10 minutes of waiting, I decided to go in the store to ask about my iced coffee. As I was entering the store, a guy comes up and tells me that he was just bringing my order to the car. Drive through is a nightmare...they can't seem to get the orders out quickly and they have you pull around front to wait. When 3-4 cars are waiting, though, the concept of "fast food" is pretty much lost. Have had to go in and ask for my money back on drive through orders because it takes too long. I swore I'd never go back, but broke my rule an went there tonight for just a caramel sundae. Didn't use the drive through, but when I got the sundae home, I opened it up to see about 1/2 teaspoon of caramel. Pretty bad for $2.79. Who trains these people? I've come to this location several times, and I can say, that they are almost always on point. Today, I ordered a bacon, egg, cheese biscuit. The biscuit was very fresh, super soft. All of my food came out quickly and piping hot. I've always had good experiences at this location in regards to the staff. They are polite and helpful. I would have filled out the survey on the receipt but i lost it. I had just gotten so used to getting subpar food/service at McDonald, that this was a nice surprise. There's nothing more disappointing then room temperature coffee. I'll go out of my way to come to this particular location. read more
