I'm extremely disappointed with the overall customer service and attention to detail at McDonald's. Every visit seems to come with some issue -- wrong orders, dismissive attitudes, and an overall lack of care for the paying customer. It's clear that many of the younger employees have not been properly trained, and it really shows in both their work ethic and the way they interact with customers. If someone doesn't enjoy their job, they should find one they actually care about instead of taking it out on the people who are keeping the business running -- the customers. A simple smile, accuracy with orders, and a bit of respect go a long way. McDonald's really needs to invest in better training and management to restore even basic standards of customer service. read more

The service is great! The workers there are really nice and helpful. The food there is delicious and given in a timely manner.

The most uncoordinated McDonald's in Hidalgo County no doubt. The people in the drive thru don't know how to take the orders right. They tried to charge me for a meal that was not even mine and insisted that it was. Honestly I left because they acted like little high school kids and honestly I bet you that is what they hired. Never go to this mcdonalds, I have had many problems and every-time I say I will never come back and today was it. I decided to use the mobile app even though previously I had an issue with the system overcharging my card. So I ordered to pick up at curbside and ordered a Girls Happy meal, hot and spicy, cheeseburger and a cold coffee. So after arriving I kept seeing the drive thru cars order and leave, order and leave, and im still there waiting, 15 min go by and had to go inside and they still dint have the order ready. When they finally gave my order and got home the girls kids meal had a boys toy. I go return the toy and they tell me they don't have any girls toys. So please don't give your money to this place in La Joya. They need better management or owner read more

Fast food is not fast in Texas. Waited a few minutes for someone to come come to the counter, waited in line for several additional minutes for the clerk to take the 1 order in front of me. I cut my losses and left. I don't have 15 minutes to get a coffee. read more

Great workers at McDonald's and great service but the manager is pushing to hard on his employee's and acts like a bitch

I must agree with all the other reviews. I stopped by this mcDonalds early in the morning on the way to work today. When I got there at 5:30am I didn't leave them much time to waist, seeing how I needed to be at work at 6:00... I don't work far from this restaurant so I wasn't too panicked. When I arrived, there were no customers inside and no cars ahead of me in the drive through lane. I quickly ordered a number 5 with cheese with an orange juice. The gentleman taking my order was super polite. Even though he gave me an apple juice instead of an orange juice, it was quickly exchanged with no problem. And that's the end of the pleasantries. After I paid for my meal the cook comes to the window and as attempts to get my attention by repeating, "boss! Hey boss!". "Its gonna take like 5-6 minutes, cause I barely just dropped it in now." "Is that cool?" I reply that's fine thinking it will only be 5-6 minutes. There's no one else here... dunk the hash browns and let's go. 12 minutes later I realize if I don't leave now I'm gonna be late for work over fast food breakfast.... and so I left. No food, just an orange juice. I guess we'll just count that money as a Christmas donation to the Ronald McDonald house this year. Merry Christmas everyone. read more

Consistantly terrible. Tonight I waited nearly half an hour as usual. I order a simple 2 bacon mcdoubles. Like always its incorrect. My first: No bacon, no pickles, no onions, no ketchup, no mustard unless you call an odd little splash on the corner of the bun. Somehow the cheese was maybe 10% its normal size like they put it on 90% off and the remainder melted and when they picked it up that's all that made it. My second: same odd lack of cheese. Nothing else besides bacon made it. Oddly I tasted no bacon. The window girls seem very confused. They dissappear. And hand me my card in a bundle with my food. 95% of the time no receipt. I am not sure if it's part of this places incompetence or a tactic to get rid of your proof of you complain about your order. I think both. This place needs shut down. Its profoundly incapable of satisfying an order correctly. And they honestly do not care about your money. read more
