This is a busy place. With two drive in menu boards they take the orders fast and churn out the food. Had a tasty pancake breakfast two weeks back. So went again the other day to get the same. Made an order with the McDonald's Mobile app and credit card was charged. Arrived at McDonald's and told there was no order despite the location and app matched. Created another order to use points to pay. Again the McDonald's staff would not research two paid orders and demanded I pay by cash to place an in store order. The staff and manager was very rude and dismissive saying "we are a franchise" as to imply they don't have to follow McDonald's corporate standards. Kept paid receipts and called McDonald's corporate for a refund. Hand written sign posted on door had different hours. Not a professional McDonald's. Probably one of the worst McDonald's locations I've ever been to. I went last night. I wanted an ice cream cone and my sister wanted a milkshake. So we went through the drive thru, thinking it will be quick. I received the worst customer service ever at this location. The woman who took my order who also ended up taking my payment, didn't greet nor say thank you. She literally just took the card and gave it back to me and that was it. Ok. Well from there to get to the second window for my order, took literally 10 minutes. Considering the fact that I only got an ice cream cone and a milkshake, it seemed absurd to me. When I finally got to the second window, they didn't have my order ready. The lady continued to work on the drinks without even acknowledging me. When she finally opened the window to give me my ice cream cone, it was melting. Idk how long it had been sitting there. And took another minute or 2 to give me the milkshake. While saying ZERO word to me. My first job was at McDonald's so I know what the employees are expected to do as far as customer service goes. It's been quite a few years but I'm sure the rules didn't get worse. This was probably the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. They don't know how to answer the phone (been calling for 10 minutes straight). Constantly running and playing around in the kitchen area. The lady tonight at the drive thru window was on her phone the whole time, she poured my Dr Pepper into a coffee cup and tried handing it to me. My entire order was wrong! When I got home I realized that they didn't give me a receipt, I asked for a chicken sandwich deluxe large meal with another chicken sandwich no meal. I got a large fry with half a box of fries and 2 chicken sandwiches....no deluxe. I'm beyond pissed. I got charged for a large meal with a chicken sandwich $12 and now I can't go in and ask for what I got because they didn't give me a receipt! read more

Length of wait time is horrible, especially Curbside. Avg time is 9 minutes, including over 11 minutes for my last three visits in a row. Twice, they've lost or forgotten my order, and one of those was for just 2 drinks! Their customer engagement is very unprofessional. You only get grunts, one word responses, or mumbling, if you get anything at all. And, at least one out every three orders is incorrect, especially drinks. read more

Oh boy do I have a review for mcdonalds. First off, I wanna say, the customer service SUCKS. The team members can be very rude and disrespectful at times. Rolling their eyes and speaking in a very annoyed way. Some of the young managers are rude as well. I would have to say the most rudest manager there is Ehmely. She is extremely rude and extremely disrespectful. Doesnt know good customer service at all. Shes been there for the longest time and she has not once changed her attitude a single time. I dont know why they still have her working if she cant learn proper education. Always rolling her eyes at customers, giving off serious attitude, and speaking in disrespectful tones. She has absolutely no patience with anyone. One time she slammed the window in my face at the drive thru when i was getting my food and I was having a bit of an issue. I really dont know who she thinks she is speaking the way she does to customers. She works at mcdonalds for crying out loud! Have some Respect! I think they should fire her immediately! Some girl there as well, Nicky I believe? Exactly like Ehmely. Some of the old lady managers in the mornings are very impatient and rude as well. Mcdonalds restaurant maintainment is also pretty horrible as well. The floors are sometimes a bit sticky. Barely do a good job at keeping the ketchup and cup accessory dispensers stocked nicely. Tables can be pretty greasy. Bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. The trays where they bring the food out can also be very dirty sometimes. Sometimes when going in the drivethru and getting my order, they forget to put in the condiments i asked for. Also very unsatisfying. I have also heard they have a bit of a rat problem? Yeah, maybe look into that as well... Disgusting. As for the food, it can be alright. But sometimes fries are cold, milkshakes watery, and this one time when I ordered a spicy deluxe sandwich my tomatoes and chicken patty were literally frozen cold. Nasty. They dont know how to hand out the food quick either. This is FAST food. Not "takes a year to hand out" food. This is the most ghetto mcdonalds I have ever come to. Please do yourselves a favor and stay away. Everything about this place SUCKS. POOR staff, POOR maintainment, POOR food ettiquette. This McDonald's location is awesome after being remodeled. While the double drive-thru is the norm for McDonald's, the self service kiosks indoors is a step above the rest. The ordering experience using the touch screen kiosks is great. The staff are very knowledgeable and can help you find menu items and explain how to use the kiosks. Don't want to use a touch screen? You can still place an order the old fashioned way. The new indoor playground is a hit with my kids. It's different than any other playground I've seen at a fast food restaurant. Why not five stars? Because sometimes I still don't get any sauce with chicken nuggets or the incorrect sauce. read more

This is probably the best Mcdonald's I have been to. Since they remodeled they added in their self-order kiosks which is great for my inner introvert. I tried them out they are easy to use plus they have staff there who are eager to help out. The atmosphere is great everything is brand new and when you order you no longer have to stand and wait for your food you take a number tent right before you pay and enter it in the system and they bring your food to you. I got the smokehouse quarter pounder which was great their quarter pounders are better since they switched to fresh patties and the side salad was good too. also as a side note if you like talking to a person to order they still ha ve cashiers also read more

This is not the first or second or 3rd time my order has been messed up. And nothing has been done about it. This McDonald's is one of the worst I've been to ever and i swear if there was another one in knightdale i would never go back! Today my husband went to get us food and the lady kept trying to tell him he's wrong on what he wanted and was being so rude. All he was asking for was COOKED onions on my bacon egg and cheese like what comes on the steak egg and cheese. I'm not sure why that was such a problem this morning seeing as it's normally not? This McDonalds was recently renovated and I really like how they modernized this location compared to the older establishments I have been too. They have kiosks inside where you can place an order or you can go to a cashier who can also take it. I think they are still getting use to their drive thru because they have 3 drive thru windows and only the second one had an attendant at it. read more

I like going here because there's a lot of choices and it's affordable but I have been going to dine in and every time I have to wait for 10 mins or more and they get your order messed up sometimes. The worst Macdonald ever. Everytime we go there we have a problem , missing orders, they put cheese in our sandwiches that we asked not to do so. They put sauce that we asked not to do so. this is probably the nicest McDonald's in the triangle and the food quality the most consistent; however, every single time i am here...EVERY time...i have to pull away from the drive thru to park. And, EVERY time i have to do that, the 3 designated drive thru parking spaces are full because EVERYONE has to pull up, pull over or park after paying at the drive thru. DRIVE THRU being the operative word...the intention of going through a drive thru is so you don't have to go inside, park or have to maneuver through traffic and parking spaces. this puts a damper on my desire to be a patron of this drive thru. i see an opportunity for improvement. read more

It has been remodeled but that is all. Food is still coming out terrible. I had a big mac, no onions. First off the meat look overcooked like it should have been burnt. They as well have a tag no onion but they put extra on. Fries was dark and cold. This is at 11 am so food should be fresh but i got anything but. I have had many problems with this McDonalds. Customer service is a joke as well. Complaining about the food is a waste of time. Zebulon has the same owners and i love going to it. Food always looks good to eat, few times had an issue and fixed it right up with a smile. Knightdale needs more than a remodel to the building it needs a new team. When you get your child a burger no cheese mustard only open it and no mustard but has ketch and cheese, onion. They take it back get a new one that is covered in mustard. Ever since this McDonald's on Knightdale Blvd, Knightdale did a makeover and renovated the old one, it has been the worst fast food drive thru ever. They are the slowest, non english speaking restaurant I have ever been to. They make the worst mistakes and they are talking constantly in their native language with each other and very little understanding of what you are asking for as they are repeating constantly and then still have to correct the order when you go to the pick up window. The drive through took me literally 45 minutes to get through and when I chose to go inside it took another 17 minutes for a small order. It is awful and I am noticing that I go to the one on Trawick Road because I can't stand waiting so long and constantly repeating my order over and over when I do finally get in front of the intercom to give my order. Just the worst since the renovation. Very Very poor management. The one on Trawick Road is fast and courteous and understands immediately and efficiently. If you don't have LOTS of time, you may not want to bother going there at all. read more
