This is the best McDonald's to which I have ever been. The staff competed to serve you. The deals were good. The place is clean. The play cage is great. The only thing that kept this from being a five-star review was they charged me for a water cup and didn't have lemon for my iced tea. read more

Please take the ratings from both listings into consideration.)** If your trip routes you through Kayenta, I recommend you pack a lunch and drive on by any food fare they have to offer. We have stopped at all of the dining options it his town and have been less than impressed, truly very less than satisfied, with anything available here. But, this review is specific to the stop we made most recently. We stopped at McDonald's in Kayenta for lunch (about 2:00 PM) and had a difficult time finding a parking space. The line was out the door for both to order food and to use the women's restroom. Now, this is no fault of McDonald's, in fact it could speak to the greatness of this restaurant. Unfortunately, it only speaks to the fact that there are very few choices for meals in Kayenta and all of them are poor. We have been through Kayenta many times through the years and there has never been a slow time for McDonald's, so they should be prepared for the continuous rush of consumers, but they are not. There are only two registers available and the cashiers are not efficient at moving the line along. The young lady who took our order spoke softly, so I continually had to ask her to repeat her statements because of the noise within the establishment. We ordered our meals to-go and went to fill our drinks. There are two drink machines, so the line was inevitable. The Coke spigot sprayed the drink all over the counter, wall, and customer's hand and arm. Two of our group of four wanted unsweetened tea (the only reason we ordered meals), but it was empty. I notified the employees at the counter of the situation, but no one would stop to ask what I needed. I finally had to just announce that the unsweet tea was out. I received no acknowledgement and had to repeat it three separate times. I wondered aloud if anyone had heard me. One of the employees near me, who did not turn around, said that she did hear and would take care of it. I asked how long it would take and received no answer or eye contact. Our order number was called and instead of it being bagged to-go, it was presented in trays, slid in front of us, with no comment or, again, no eye contact. We took our food and decided to begin eating and wait for the present coming of the unsweetened tea. Our order was correct, except for the delivery, and the taste of the food was fair. One of our group went to get some ketchup (pumped from the drink station), but couldn't find the little cups to pump it into. She just took a hamburger box with her to pump some ketchup in, found the ketchup container was empty, and had to ask for some at the counter. (Why wasn't it offered when we picked up our meal?) I asked again about the unsweetened tea and received no response. We finally finished our food and had to leave with no unsweetened tea. The women's bathroom was not clean...the toilets and floors were dirty, the soap dispenser was empty, and the toilet paper was low. The dining area, though it looks recently remodeled as does the rest of the restaurant, was dirty, too. Sticky floors with garbage scattered about. I know that they were busy, but they know that they will be busy, so need to schedule an employee to continually monitor the cleanliness of dining area and bathrooms, as well as keep the drinks and condiments filled. The staff desperately needs more training in customer service and the facility may need to add another register. Our entire party was very, very disappointed in this McDonald's. We agreed if we could rate it lower than one star, we would. I would not want to stop here again. read more

Worst customer service ever...... went thru the drive thru and was told to pull forward and they'll get me my order.... i waited over 15 minutes and finally had to go inside and found that they didn't even put the cookies in the oven.... so the drink i ordered was already melted and i tried to ask why? All i got back for a answer is "I don't know" ????? Who answers a question with i don't know...... don't get stuck in the drive thru..... worst service I've ever had.... read more

This is the worst McDonalds I have ever been to- the slowest service and sloppiest sandwiches. The employees didn't even care... just lounged around, coughing on their hands as they assembled food. Horrible... think it will be at least a year or two before I visit another McDonalds. read more

I waited 15 minutes in the drive through line and the line was going no where so I decided to go order inside. It was 11:04 and they claimed they still can't serve breakfast till 11:15 (this is a lie all McDonald's serve lunch at 10:30, take this coming from an ex McDonald's employee) they then proceeded to mess up my order and forgot the cream and sugar for my coffee. When I asked for the manager half the employees claimed they were the gm or that the gm was out at the moment, terrible service! Never coming back! read more

Terrible customer service. The clock was 10:31am and they refused to serve me any lunch food and claimed we do not open for lunch until 10:45 and then proceeded to server the next customer behind me lunch food. Never coming back assholes read more
