Voila, I have my food in minutes but whose counting. With the mobile app, you can get free food so use it. The cashier was pleasant and told me to pull right around. If you come mornings at Emerson you will see the same lady with a smile on her face. I got my order and immediately went for the fries. I hate cold fries and I am a super fan of the golden arches. Tonight my mom and I ordered McDonald's after a rough night to make us feel a bit better. We had ordered: a caramel frappe, 40 nuggets, 2 cheeseburgers, 2 fries, a frozen Hawaiian punch, and a regular coke. But when the food got there, only the nuggets and the Hawaiian punch were perfect. The coke was frozen, and the frappe wasn't even a frappe - just regular coffee. And when I opened the food bag, the only thing in it was the chicken nuggets. By far the worst McDonald's I have ever visited, at least it is when the overnight shift. I thought it was just a fluke the first time, but it's the same thing every time. They do not answer the drive-thru at all, so you must drive around and honk or wave them down at the window. No one else in line and no one at the window. It's irritating because they are wearing the headsets, so they know you're out there waiting. I drive away because no one bothered to acknowledge them.. and there . One time they said they weren't serving food and that I needed to cancel my app order. Is there not a way of preventing order from being placed if that were the case? Most places can do that, but I don't know. All I know is that it's usually the same woman in there during the overnight shift, and she seems annoyed if you don't drive off. I never say things like this, but someone needs to encourage her to just move on and put herself out of her misery. If the McDonald's owner or general manager cares they need to terminate her. Seriously this woman is not friendly and you are not doing yourself any favors by keeping her on. FYI, I was a McDonald's shift manager many years ago and I hated everything about that job. I still did the job and treated customers and crew well because me not wanting to be there was NOT their problem. Now when I couldn't take it anymore, I did the right thing and promptly put in my notice to quit. This place was decent and clean. The restroom was clean. Nothing special. I had placed my order on the kiosk, but I couldn't help but wonder how was everyone getting their food, and I haven't received mine yet. The lady at the register had messed someone's order up, and the gentleman was waiting for the corrected order for what felt like forever. I finally got my food, and he was still waiting. No one acknowledged him anymore after the error was found. After a while, when no one else was placing an order. The cashier places her head on the register. I shook my head and thought this was not acceptable. Someone comes up to place an order and looks at her in disgust and says, "I'd like to place an order." I had peeked to see what was going on with my order. I was a bunch of employees standing around on their phone or talking to each other. There was no urgency to get customers' food out. 2 were clearly managers, 1 guy with fluffy hair and 1 lady with super long hair just whipping her hair around. What kind of example or leadership are they doing? How are they a good example? When we got the food, hashbrowns were fresh, but honestly, I felt like the food wasn't sanity with the way the people who worked there were so lax. I was on my way to visit my Dad, as I do every Sunday-he has Dementia and lives at a retirement home in Mandarin. I called him and told him I was on my way. I asked him if he needed anything. He said, "yes, bring me a burger"! I told him I would. I know my Dad's preference would be Burger King, but none were close at the moment.. So, I stopped in at McDonalds. I had not had lunch yet, so-I went inside to place my order. They had two Quarter pounders for only $5.00!!!!! I arrived at my Dad's place and we had picnic together. I have been told this is the busiest McD's in Jax. I work next door and do see a lot of traffic around the restaurant all day. But I'm not sure if they are the busiest or slowest. I ordered a McGriddle yesterday that took about 20 mins to make. Was it good? For a microwaved breakfast sandwich it was good. read more

This review is based on a drive thru order during the before work breakfast rush. Both the cashier and food handler were super friendly. The wait time was probably average for the amount of cars in line. Could've been four stars but when I got home I found one of my sandwiches had the wrong type of egg in it. I think this McDonald's has a new manager because customer service has gotten a lot better. They even have a greeter standing by the front counter who also helps with customers orders/needs. It gets reasonably busy here, but you still get your food rather quickly. Good! I tried their mobile order/pay and customized a signature grilled chicken sandwich. This isn't the first night this has happened. When the owner reopened the newly remodeled store service was fantastic. Several nights a week I would sit for 5-10 minutes at the drive through to only be told they are only taking cash. To see half a dozen cars drive away isn't how the owners want to make money. read more

First I need to say that I LIKE McDonalds. The problem isnt McDs, its THIS McDs. When I pulled up to place my order, the person either sounded like they were crying or sick. That should have been my first clue (a manager that allows a sick person to work in a fast food restaurant where they have access to food and customers clearly doesnt care), but I pressed on with my order. When I pulled up to the window, I confirmed she was sick. I hated handing her the money and waiting for my change. I should have just let her keep it, but I wanted that receipt. Every time I come, I never get my drink yet I get extra food I didn't ask for. I normally wouldn't yelp a McD's but this one called me. The floor was wet with abandoned mop bucket in one part and dirty floor on the other. The tables were dirty and one high top chair had a huge hole in the seat. But The service was fast and friendly and the McDouble was hot and tasty. Haven't been to McDonald's in a LONG time but decided to grab some breakfast on the way to work. Such a poor choice. This may be the worst one I've ever been too and it was a reminder to why I don't go. It took about 15 minutes to get through the drive thru and there were only four cars in front of me. My disappointment didn't stop there. When I opened my bag to eat what I figured would be a sausage egg McMuffin, since that was what I ordered, there it was...a cold bacon egg and cheese biscuit. So not only did I not get what I ordered, I had to heat up what I got to make it edible. McDonald's has figured out a way to screw up fast food breakfast...congrats! All the food I have received from this McDonalds has been burnt to a crisp, specifically fries and nuggets. I sat near tv and asked employee to please turn on to watch news....he instructed me to manually turn it on. This location drive thru is suppose to be opened 24 hours. This morning and yesterday morning at 4 AM I stopped in on my way to work. Pull thru the drive thru and no one ever came to take my order. Yesterday 3 cars including myself left without food. This morning there was a girl at the window making coffee. She certainly wasn't making it for me since she wasn't taking orders. She said they were not taking orders because they were doing a shift change. I told her she was lying and drove off. For a very long time now, the night crew has been horrible. The only place open for travelers stopping for food and the lazy, sleeping on the job workers cannot be bothered. The owner needs to do something about it. They deserve no stars. read more

No respect to manager trying to provide what little instruction giving to staff. Chaotic and uncoordinated. Entering an order seems to be a challenge...entering them accurately even greater. Y'all need to check your bathrooms more often. The women's bathroom is a wreck. The larger stall for disabled persons doesn't lock, the smaller stall appears to have been claimed by a very territorial cat (yellow stains on the seat). Also, please check the pipes for the faucet. Water will flow heavily before it appears to be backed up, then stream disappears. read more
