Went through drive thru at McDonalds off Gillian in Issaquah, for the first in a very long time. I normally don't do MdDonalds and this one was Awful!! Fries were cold! The gal at the window didn't put my sauces in bag and when I tried to tell her what sauces, she couldn't figure it out!! I also asked for extra cheese on my fish sandwiches and paid for it, and when I got home no extra cheese on either!! Needless to say I won't be going bCk there and now know why I haven't in years! The other McDonalds in Issaquah - much better than the one on East Lake Sammamish. Tends to be clean and there's a great play area for the kids. It's been redone and now has what I call a "timber" theme............ Good place to meet up with friends who have smaller children. read more

I have never had an issue at this restaurant except during the graveyard shift. The line takes up to 25 minutes to get through if someone is ahead of you. I understand the food is made fresh at this time, but when I get my food it should not be cold.. Also, the ice cream machine is always "down" when the sun goes down. This is especially annoying when you drive there on your lunch hour to get ice cream. It magically works again in the morning. I know the ice cream machine is annoying to clean when not many people are going to buy it.. I'm not an idiot. Don't advertise to be 24/7 if the whole desert menu is never available. The day shift if great, but I had to subtract stars for my experience with the night shift. I will be going to Jack in the Box from now on. read more

Sweet yo. Open 24 hours, quick, clean, and has a great layout of restaurant. Kind of a nice wood cabin type feel that also features a huge play place for the kids. Overall really great and the drive through moves pretty quick and efficient. Burgers are always on point as far as taste and price. I recommend using a coupon to get a buy one get one free shake that they send out in the mail. Beware that the large size is huge and that the mint flavored shake is delicious. read more

I am so old. I remember when this McDonald's came to Issaquah. In my family, we still refer to things as being pre-McD's or post-McD's. E.g., "Did the air field close shop pre or post McD's?" Before McD's, Issaquah was a sleepy quiet village. Post-McD's, it became what it is today. I have so many memories there: after church, after ball games. I remember running out to our cars during lunch at IHS and speeding to McD's for a 3-minute meal and speeding back to school before the bell. read more

I go inside this time I told the manager the they messed up on my order . I tried my best to be civil and ask just to correct meal . One star. Terrible drive through service tonight. This is only the second time I have gone to this location, and will be the last. I went drive through. There was ONE car in front of me. From the time the car was at the menu, paying, received food, and gone, was 2 minutes maximum. My order went fast, paid quickly, and waited at the food window, and waited, and waited, and continued waiting, for about 10 minutes. 4 employees stood around playing with their cell phones. A shift lead was at the register. In my entire time, I saw ONE customer inside, and by now, FOUR cars were behind me. Nobody even acknowledged I was in the drive through, even though I stared at them. Finally, after my long wait (yes, really about 10 minutes for three items), the teen kid gave me my burgers. I asked why did it take so damn long? He said it was fresh food. I said, "so nobody could come to the window and tell me I had to wait longer? Just ignore me?" He only said sorry. I told him this is not acceptable. In summary, 10 minute wait for 3 regular hamburgers, one car in front of me (done in 2 minutes), cars piled up behind me, one customer at register, employees playing with their cell phones, ignored me. Jose the manager provided me the best level of service I've had in a restaurant in Issaquah in 17 years of buying lunch for our dealership. I called Alan Finkelstein (franchise owner) Friday and told him I'd like to try one of his restaurants Saturday to feed 25 at lunch. I asked him the best way to approach it. He had me call his manager Jose to order. I asked to pick up at 11:55am 40 sandwiches, 40 fries, and 25 assorted shakes. I was leary as every pizza, bbq and even Costco food court has messed this up since 2000 when I started feeding the guys on Saturdays. I had given up and had it catered for the last 1.5 years. Catering was out of town this weekend so I thought I'd try MickeyDees as a "treat" for the boys. I was greeted as I entered at 11:55am asked for Jose and he presented two large boxes and three employees to load it to my car at 11:58 I was hearing back to the dealership... fantastic. Typically I'm gone 40-50 minutes. This not only saved me money but surely even made me money being back in the store so quickly. I am resold. Just had a horrible experience. I only went here to get the same thing I got the morning before. A cappuccino. I asked for an additional shot in it on a small. I politely give back the large cup I was handed on the drive thru and told the lady I ordered a small. She said because I asked for an additional shot it went in the larger one. I am beyond confused and taken back by how ridiculous that statement was. A shot is barley 4 oz. So she takes it back and I watch her poor the large drink she made.right into the small new cup and leaves whatever does not for on the new cup to the side. I mean I am watching this?! I know that McDonalds is not a high end restaurant. Even so I would imagine that they train their employees to some degree. How is it that in one month, three separate orders, they manage to screw up the order all three times! Using atypical packaging makes it difficult to check the orders before leaving. Okay so first of all the customer service is horrible. The lady at the cash out window forgot to enter our coupon when she said she did. Then when we brought up the issue to the manager she acted like we were dumb and couldn't fix the mistake. All the other workers around her were looking at us rudely especially the red hair girl. They handed us our fries and the bag didn't feel right because of the switch from cardboard to paper for the frys. Anyway, the blue haired chick was quick to say in a very unprofessionally rude tone " it's not like we can mess up a medium fry". She also gave us a dirty look. I suggest in having your workers take a class on how to treat your customers because paying people don't deserve to be treated so rudely. Your manager, the chick with the black short hair and messed up teeth was unprofessional too. (Wouldn't be describing her so rudely if she had bothered to introduce herself but honestly that's the best description of her). This McDonald's has a Fire Place with comfortable Rustic, Cushioned Lounge Seating as well as the standard booth seating. Folks (the staff too) are friendly. The dinning room on regular occasion closes before the POSTED 11pm. The Men's Restroom is clean but the hand soap in the dispenser smells awful and is harsh on your skin. Sometimes I take my own soap to wash before I eat my meal because when my hands are near my face and I can smell that awful soap. Yuk! As far as I know, All Washington McDonald's use this same AWFUL smelling soap. read more

This is the best McDonald's Playplace I've ever been to. It can get a little rowdy in the evenings so I avoid it after 5pm, but from 11-3ish on weekdays my little tiny guy has the place almost to himself. The McDonald's itself is also very nice. I love the fireplace. read more

I've had a lot of issues with the night crew in the past. Going through the drive through they're always playing grab-ass and screwing off. Sometimes the Ice-Cream cones come out looking like they were made by a 2 year old. I wrote their department directly and for the most part they've cleaned it up since. However last weekend was it for me. I went through the line with my kids to order them some soft serve Ice-cream cones, and as I past the first pay-window I looked over the cashier's shoulder and seen an older Hispanic woman putting Sunday's in a to-go tray holder when she goes to adjust a lid and picks it up, and licks the Ice-cream off the lid and then PUTS IT BACK ON THE SUNDAY!!! The second she did it, she looked directly at me and we made eye contact. I could see she was embarrassed, but she quickly hurried out of my sight.
