Went there yesterday... and Service was ok... but everything was so god damn loud because everything was going off. The food was awful and had a strange taste to it. In fact, I think the food was undercooked or something... because I got a freaking infection in my mouth. I was just fine before eating here, and now I got an abcess. World's Worst McDonalds Ever!!! This was the worst McDonalds experience I ever had! You had NO Caramel frapuccino. I ordered extra butter on my egg Mcmuffin and you just blew me off and gave me a Mcmuffin with NO butter at all! When I took it back the employee just gave me a pat of frozen butter to put on my cold sandwich! I just took the pat of frozen butter and threw the sandwich and the frozen butter in the trash. They also gave my wife a Mcgriddle with burnt bacon, which she just tossed in the trash rather than having to deal with those rude employees. The employees were very unfriendly and made my wife and I extremely uncomfortable. We couldn't wait to leave that horrible restaurant, even though we had to leave hungry, without eating anything and being out $21 for getting nothing worthy of eating!!! I'd give this mc Donald's and the one in Chanute a 0 if I could, Iola store the staff just stands around and does nothing, you can go in or drive thru for a cup of coffee and they don't have it made, and are not happy about making it. I walked in to get a sausage muffin and the older lady wanted to charge me $5.79 ....WHAT ??? we went back and forth, she had no clue what I wanted. I can't understand why in the heck these employees aren't supervised and taught what to do. There were 3/4 other people standing around waiting and were upset it was so did/ organized. Even worse in Chanute, it takes 15 minutes when you walk in to get anyone to even notice you, so rude. The woman that looks to be the manager is loud, abnoxious, and looks like her clothes haven't been washed in months, as are the other employees, gross. This place is the worst fast food place ever. I sat in here for 3 and a half hour waiting to be helped and no one came.

Consistently cold, old food. That's it. Oh and if you desire poor service then this is the place for you. Every time I go to this location I want to gouge out my own eyes for assuming there was an ice cubes chance in hell that the food might be palatable. Luckily you're in farm country so you can walk over to the nearest dairy farm and eat a fresh cow pie because chances are it will more closely resemble actual food than what is served at this disaster zone. read more

Ok on the Road with my wife and Grandkids. Family Reunion . Of course we stop into Mcdonalds gor lunch what kid does not like Mcdonalds. Any ways thier menu boards are these 5 hug TV screens flashing their menu and the one in the center keeps play pick 2 special for 5 bucks . 2 big macs or 2 filet of fish. So I asked for the 2 fish for 5 bucks . Guy behind the counter says the special is over ? Dude your add right behind you says 2 for 5 special over and over again. This guy keeps telling me its over. Then he states no one has had time to change it ? And the special was over?And was told Manager was not in the building? Got tired of pointing out the odious to this Guy and left . Walked across the street to Sonics and dropped 25 bucks for lunch thier. Wrote a letter to Mcdonalds corporate office lets see how they react . Will not drop a dime in a McDoanlds for my grandkids again If corporate blows me off. Sorry its not possible to give this place zero stars. read more

Great food for breakfast when you are in a hurry. Reasonable price range. Good service. They even get the order correct in the drive thru.

I feel like almost every time I go to this McDonald's, my order is not right and the food is not fresh. I went thru the drive thru the other night and my 6 year old was excited for the breakfast all day menu as she really wanted a breakfast burrito. The one I was given must have been sitting on the warmer all day and evening because it was rock hard! Okay, so I've made frequent trips to this McDonald's and I don't know why I keep going back. I've now had 3 separate issues with this McDonald's in the 2 years I've lived in town. The first issue was I ordered a two cheeseburger meal and went back to my dorm to eat it. Upon me opening up my first cheeseburger I noticed that there WAS A BITE TAKEN OUT OF MY CHEESEBURGER. So furious that I was, I called and asked to speak with a manager. And she told me that she would check the cameras and call me back. When she called me back she stated "There is nothing showing on the cameras, if the bite was just taken out of the bun it probably got caught in the toaster" no. It was a perfect bite THROUGH THE ENTIRE BURGER. And they refused to let me have my money back when I went in with my receipt for it. The second incident occurred a couple months later in the morning. I went with a couple off my friends and I ordered a breakfast sandwich. I went to take a bite and I bit into something hard. When I pulled it out of my sandwich there was a PENNY in my sandwich. Knowing that they hadn't done anything the last time I had a problem I didn't do anything. But my most recent experience happened less than an hour ago. On my quarter pounder WAS RECEIPT PAPER. So if I could give this place less than 1 star I would. I've never had any problems at any other McDonald's either. read more
