Further down the isles is KFC. The area is clean, safe, with easy freeway access (on & off). It's the perfect spot to take a break and get some bio-fuel. I had mobile order, although it's always a pain in the butt with Mickey D's mobile order anywhere I go, employees here were so patient and friendly Feb 27 around 12 pm. Both, pay window and pick up window ladies where very kind and nice to me. My husband likes the French vanilla ice coffee, which for me I always felt is too strong. I always take sips of it and hardly like it. The one I got today was actually perfect. I'll probably have to get one tomorrow to confirm. read more

I literally installed this app just so I can write this review. I am currently in the drive-through line as I have been for the past 20 minutes. I asked for a spicy chicken sandwich and she responded as if I killed her unborn son. I then proceeded to order 6 more sandwiches and 6 fries. She then has the audacity to tell me that she can only give me ONE ranch for our entire order. Ridiculous. Then, she proceeds to tell me that the ice cream machine is turned off. Are they not open? While my double double cheesy burger with no ketchup was on point...they forgot the diced onions. Seriously?!?! those onions make this damn sandwich and leaving them off makes me beyond sad. I get it the whole covid thing but things are OPEN now and a fast food place should not take this long. It took a total of 35 minutes in the drive thru with a total of 5 cars in front of us. Meh, it was super slow and my food took forever. I was also in a rush and ordered it on the Mcdonalds app expecting it to be ready when I got there, but that didn't happen. My meal came out as I ordered it, but took almost 20 minutes. If they are pushing people to use the app, they need to make sure that those customers are taken care for trying to help the process. THERES NO SUCH THING AS BAD EMPLOYEES. ONLY BAD LEADERS!!! Ok now onto my review. I know the pandemic is going on. First and foremost I also work in the food industry and I get frustrated as well. The only difference is I don't take it out on the customers due to being stressed or overworked. My experience was as follows: I bought food for a family of 4 people multiple items (As seen in photos). I ordered politely due to the fact of I've been there and worked there before (first job etc.) I know how they feel and get treated so I know to be polite and kind to them cause it's hard for them. Yet when I finished my order and had to pay for the items listed: 1 2 for 3.50 (McDouble and Mcchicken With mac sauce included) 1 double Qtr pound cheese meal 1 Cheese burger 1 McDouble 2 Apple pies 1 medium friends fries 1 Oreo McFlurry 1 Diet Coke What I didn't order but still got charged for was: 1 qtr pounder cheese meal. We said everything as clear as possible and gave them the benefit of the doubt cause people do make mistakes, but when we got our order not only did we get charged for something we didn't want but we didn't get one item as well (McFlurry) which caused a nasty response from the manager of this McDonald's when We tried our best to clear up the misunderstanding of the order mind you we didn't eat the food nor touch it just the bag and two sodas (coke and Diet Coke) we had been handed as we grabbed it and even offered them to take the food back to see what was there and wasn't there. She then replied with "I just need to know what you don't want on there is all". She tried to say like if we don't know "I'm giving you more for the dollar amount you paid" when in if fact she was just charging us more for what we didn't want. She than proceeded to just take the sandwich back and replaced it with another cheese burger instead of giving us a refund for the item which we rather have (who knows if they gave it to someone else down the line that possibly ordered that exact item shame on them!) we also asked her about the cup size price (got a reply of it's the same price as any other size) of the drinks because we asked for a Diet Coke but she never asked what sized cup we wanted assuming we want a medium when we wanted a large but never got asked at the drive through box. When they ask what size all the time at any McDonald's you go to and I tried to replace the medium cup size for a large Diet Coke but she replied with "no we can't because we got all these cups and drinks here" now we're stressed, frustrated and hungry as well as confused. Now we leave confused and shocked at the customer service we got that We get out of the drive through as they just gave us our stuff to get us out of there as soon as possible. We realized that we didn't get the McFlurry we originally ordered so we go back and I get off to go ask for it cause I did pay for it. Doors were locked so I had to proceed through the drive through to tell her after asking the next customer if I can clear it up really quick to her reply she said go ahead it's fine. Telling the manager at the window "I never recieved my McFlurry". as I get told by the manager "you can't be here! Go around! And slammed the window!" Now at the front door she gives me a McFlurry (as seen in photo) and I ask for the managers name and get the door slammed in front of me! After all this I'm writing this so this doesn't happen to anyone else. It's best to stay clear of this McDonald's your better off driving to the one on Varner road or off of Monterrey in palm desert. This McDonald's in north Indio apparently doesn't care about its customers so I will not be returning here ever again. They just lost 4 customers due to this. read more

I don't have any pictures to post... although, I could have with the amount of time I waited for my order to be filled. Endless waiting... lots of people running around... but no leadership. Stay away from this place unless you have time to wait... wait... wait... and then get your food. The food has a better than 50% chance of being incorrect. This place needs a serious intervention, but it probably won't happen soon because they have little competition and I'm sure this is a profitable location for McD's. As for me and my family, we take that extra time we would have been waiting (it is always at least 10 minutes) and drive to the closest In and Out which is only 10 minutes away. No comparison. I wouldn't typically take the time to write a review for a fast food restaurant but this McDonalds far exceeded our expectations. Clean bathrooms to start which I feel is a strong indicator of a restaurants overall cleanliness. The restaurant is on the newer side and has all the modern and technology conveniences you can ask for. And our order was delivered hot within a couple minutes of ordering. Oh, and the best McDonald's fries we have had in a long time! Wish we had more of these in our hometown. read more

This is a rather new McDonald's off the 10, surrounded by other new structures (looking at street view on Google Maps for this area yields piles of dirt and what looks like the beginnings of construction). Anyway, this branch of Mickey D's seems to have been designed for the purpose most are there for: to be a rest stop for travelers. It's a big McDonald's with a two room layout: the main dining and the children's play area/parents dining room. Its indoor play place is of a more modern design meant to make it convenient so parents can walk through it alongside their children. Food is average for a McDonald's. Nothing really worth noting. My main beef with this location is the bathrooms. The women's has merely two stalls (one regular, one disabled). Both times I've stopped at this location driving between California and Arizona, there was constantly a line of women vigorously shifting from one foot to the other trying not to wet themselves waiting. Sometimes the line trailed out, almost entwining with the line to order. When we were there midday Sunday, the door to the disabled stall was broken. The other oddity is the entrance being on the farside of the building. Seemed like several small groups would swarm the locked door nearest the parking lot (which is labeled "EXIT"), waiting for someone near the play place to open the door for them as opposed to taking the 10-20 seconds to walk to the other side. In short this location is pretty clean, especially compared to the one in Blythe. But it's strange that they went through so much trouble to cater to out-of-town visitors and has such a tiny restroom. read more

Worst McDonald's I've ever been to and that's saying a lot. Ordered iced mocha drink and an oatmeal cookie at 5:25. It took 10 minutes for the girl that took the order to figure out they weren't serving the iced mocha things. Don't want anything else so just refund it. As she's about to start doing the refund she says one second and starts taking the persons order behind me. Manager has to come over to give me the refund. She gives me $3.76 in cash when I pay for it on the card. Lady I don't want in cash I paid for it with a card I don't want $3.50 in change. She says is there anything else? There were also like 200 flies throughout the store (no exaggeration at all) but that's neither here nor there for a restaurant review. Brought our kids in to have breakfast and get some wiggles out on our road trip and the plays pace was shut down because it was FILTHY, last nights food all over the tables and floors, receipts, garbage, napkins, half consumed coffee cups. Here is why I am reviewing a MCDONALDS. Their frigging big breakfast with hotcakes come with bacon at no additional cost! Who the hell doesn't like bacon?! I have had big breakfast with hotcakes in the east coast (NY) but they don't come with the bacon unless I add it to my order. They substituted my muffin for mcgriddles without rolling their eyes, kudos! I always do that and so many cashiers roll their eyes at me. I hate the muffins at Mcdonalds, I only eat the mcgriddles! This McDonald's was our stop on our way to Phoenix, and on our way back to LA. While the facility was nice and clean... the service was impossibly slow. For breakfast, we went into the restaurant with our take-away order. we waited over 10 minutes. On our return, home - around lunchtime, we opted for the drive thru. They didn't have our order ready in the time it took for us to get to the window (which included about a 5 minute wait), so they had us pull into a parking space until they had the sandwiches ready to bring out. This was also about a 10 minute wait. Cleanliness - good Food quality - well, it's a typical McDonalds Wait time - terrible! We attempted to talk to a worker there that was not helpful at all! She asked if we were in a big truck and found out that we weren't and told us we would have to go through the drive-thru?! We saw a car smaller than ours receive a mobile order no problem! Your app is not limited to just your customers in large vehicles! The only food venue still opened around the area at around 11:30pm on a Friday night. McDonald was a lifesaver for the folks with the growling stomachs if you happen to be around this area.
