Food is abysmal, even for McDonald's. I usually try to avoid this place, but decided to stop in for a bag of ice. The staff member at the counter was really condescending about it. Very curtly and with a tone of annoyance said "we don't sell it here, go to the gas station." I understand if it's a store discretion thing and if that location doesn't offer it, then that's fine. I came here this weekend and specifically asked for it to go. They gave us a tray and ignored us when we tried to ask for a bag. The lady working there took about 2 minutes to count my change and still gave the incorrect amount. My chicken sandwich was extremely tough; I couldn't bite through it. The texture did not look like chicken at all. (?) We specifically asked for ranch and barbecue sauce; instead, they gave us 2 little ketchup packets. Wow, how bad can a McDonald's get? The line was very long to start, and we found out why. They took our payment for 19$ at the first window, after asking us if we got a different order but we corrected them. At the second window they said we didn't pay and have to pay again, it seems they charged us for the other order. They didn't have it ready and it took several minutes at the window, we had to remind them 3 times to give us all we ordered, they kept forgetting to give us everything. We spent 20 minutes in the drive through just to order a simple soft serve cone. The line was only 3 cars long and it took over 20 minutes. When we finally got to the front of the line, they said their machine wasn't working for soft serve even though they took our card and charges us on the first we down. Every time I come in, they have their drive thru closed @11. According to google, they're 24 hours, but apparently google is wrong

First of all, when picking up a mobile order in the drive through I tried to add a fish filet and they told me I would have to go all the way around again to make a "second order" because it's "one order per car", which has never been the case before at any McDonald's I've ordered at. Secondly, they told me my order isn't ready and gave me a drive through parking space number to park in and apparently they already told someone else to park in that spot so I had to walk in to get my order. Here is the locals perspective of this location. The drive thru is one of the slowest that I have ever encountered and the line is always long. I have come here many times and have generally been have got good customer service but the last two times definitely hasn't been the case. The last two times I've made a point to ask for sweet and sour as I love them with my fries and each time the drive thru failed to provide it. Tonight I feel was the worst the guy in the drive thru told me that he put sweet and sour in the bag when I confirmed and I get home and there's nothing in the bag. At this point I don't feel like the employees even care and the food pass out guy should be fired for straight up lying to my face. I live right next to this place and I will never return to this location. It's the worst. Cold food even when you ask for fresh. No breakfast all day. Tried to used my app for points, wasnt even asked if I was using it, pulled it up to use (just for earning points) after I handed over the money and then was told well to late you should have done that before you paid, like I'm stupid. Traveling back from Phoenix, we stopped at this McDonalds for a pit stop and to get a one dollar diet coke. I am not fond of the way their dining room is set up, nor how the entrance is around the corner from the parking lot. Hence, the 3 stars for that. This McDonalds is as good as any I've been to. The drive thru staff were very efficient and polite. I got what I ordered quickly and was on my way. I'm not sure why people feel the need to default McD's with a low review based on the food itself if their order was correct. It's McDonalds. It's not Wolfgang Puck. It's a beautiful afternoon in Indio, 105 warm degrees, bright and sunny. I decided on my way home from the grocery store to stop at McDonalds to grab a sandwich. The idiot in front of me in a soccer van from Nevada parks in the middle of the two drive thru lines, i guess thats how they do it in Nevada. Once he choose a lane i could get in line. I ordered a simple double quarter pounder and everything was smooth. 7 minutes from start to finish at lunch time was incredible. i got home and brought the groceries in and sat down to eat my burger. it looked good and tasted fine except the salt on the burger was overwhelming. i know they salt the patties when they cook but these patties got an extra dose. it was so salty i had to throw it away as i could not eat with that salty, it was simply inedible. if you are salt sensitive, make sure you are aware of this situation.
