Food was gross! How do you mess up McDonald's fries?!? And...they only had 1 bottle of water in the entire building. Awful

These people have a war on condiments. Ask them for an extra BBQ sauce and they give you this look like you just announced World War II. I went there a few days ago and through the drive thru, ordered 20 piece chicken mcnuggets and they gave me 1 tiny BBQ sauce. I found out before I drove off and the lady at the window gave me this look like I just insulted her or bombed Pearl Harbor and gave me 1 more BBQ. So I told her 2 wasn't enough for 20 pieces and she told me it was against policy to give out more. I just drove off and have now decided to blacklist the place. Never, again. To boot, the nuggets were half cooked. read more

I order my food through drive thru, went home...there was a long hair inside my hamburger...GROSS! NOT ACCEPTABLE. I called and spoke to manager, nothing happened. Employees should wear a hair net at ALL times. read more

I commute 88 miles from Temecula to Indio for work everyday and have made several stops for breakfast at this McDonalds. Always see the same girl, always with a rude attitude. Managers, please give Sara Marie some training in basic customer service skills like a nice pleasant smile and a warm welcoming greeting. Be cordial and thankful that I stopped by. The last time I stopped there was really the last time. Sara Marie looked at me & asked if I paid for my items and demanded to see my receipt, which I quickly provided. Really? You are a piece of work! You see me all the time and now I am going to dodge payment for a measly McDonald meal, which by the way takes forever & a day to prepare? You should be removed from the window and hide behind a fryer or heating lamp, you should not be allowed to interact with customers. read more

Ridiculous wait, this is the SLOWEST MD I have ever been to. No excuse for this type of wait. 27 minutes at 1130pm.

We used the mobile order app to place an order went to go pick it up, pulled into one of the marked parking spots and the app wouldn't acknowledge that we were at the location! We attempted to talk to a worker there that was not helpful at all! She asked if we were in a big truck and found out that we weren't and told us we would have to go through the drive-thru?! We saw a car smaller than ours receive a mobile order no problem! Your app is not limited to just your customers in large vehicles! Also, if you don't know anything about your app then you better learn so you can actually know how it works to better serve your customers! I am getting really tired of the poor quality of customer service and quality of food/products in the city of Indio - the residents who live here full time and all the visitors DESERVE BETTER! read more

Not bad but not good Drive through always takes longer than walking in... That's a drag. Some employees seem a bit spaced out, but then I would be to if I worked here. Very clean inside and they haven't messed up any of my orders yet,so 3 stars. read more

This place does not sell chocolate dipped cones. But all mcdonalds should have dipped cones.

The playplace is closed midday, 100 percent clean and operable. Obviously, the disinterested staff can't be bothered to open it, clean it, or be of service. Don't waste your kid's hopes here read more

Surprised to find a breakfast turkey bowl with spinach it was yummy I hope they keep this one for a while! Plus they have sugar cookies here awesome! read more

McDonald's - The front - Fast Food Near Me - Indio, California

Here's the deal, it's McDonald's, I know. The food is what it is. This location gets all five stars because of the employees and the cleanliness of the place. I only go for breakfast and/or coffee. Every time I have been to this location, the employees are always working hard and are always very friendly. I have never experienced a bad attitude from anyone at this location. Rather, I have always encountered smiling faces and friendly service. Also, the restaurant is maintained emmaculately. No trash, no stains, no crap all over the place. It is clear that the people here are motivated and we'll trained. More than that, they seem to just be good folks. read more

The drive thru is awful. It takes 15 minutes to get anything no matter what time it is. Awful.

Without a doubt the WORST McDonald's ive ever been to. they NEVER get the order right. They take forever every. Single. Time. Takes them 30 minutes just to get me an ice cream cone. Obviously filled with employees that don't care, and i don't blame them. Absolute garbage read more

Good food, good service and clean. Made my food quickly. Good atmosphere too. This place has a convenient location.

This is the worst McDonald's in my area. They cannot seem to get their crap straight. Every time I go, something goes wrong. For example I went this morning. I ordered a medium iced coffee. The girl replies "that's large ice coffee right?" I said no it's a medium. I get to the window to pay. The girl says you had the hotcakes right? No, I had the ice coffee. I get to the window and I'm half expecting to get a cheeseburger handed to me. Luckily I did get my coffee...but no straw. It's like that every time I go. They just can't get it right and it's always a disaster inside the restaurant with trash all over the floor. They seem to have plenty of employees, lots of Teenagers but they're all standing around looking like they don't know what to do. It's like watching goldfish in a tank. They just don't know that you're there, the customers they forgot. The one on Varner or in La Quinta is a better bet. read more

came in at 1:23 am after work in town and put a mobile order in before going in my money was taken and placed. the girl on the speaker told me i was unable to get my food although it had already taken my money and after saying it had taken my money 4 times she finally told me to go up in the line. "john" the one working 11-12-22 at 1am then proceeded to tell me if i were to go back there to not place an online order during that time, being from out of town i let him know i probably wouldn't head back to the location it was just a jiff of the moment & a sign would be better than telling people here & there. he then said "OK Just letting you know then u don't have to have attitude" he then proceeded to ignore me after that not answering any question gave the food and closed the window with no words, no napkins, sauce, or utensils read more

This has got to be the worst McDonalds I have ever been to and I have traveled many places domestic and abroad. During the last year, I have lived down the street from this McDonalds and visit it multiple times daily(I like the Diet Coke). It does not matter What time of day you go to the restaurant you will wait at least 10 minutes if there is even one car ahead of you in drive thru. Then you will be very lucky if your order is correct. When there is a mistake on your order they will replace the item but do not expect anything more. My daughter got a fish fillet full of bones and when she took it back they offered her another fish sandwich but nothing else. I am not sure who would jump back into eating another one after that experience but you would think they would offer a different Sandwich. Avoid this McDonalds and go down the street into Walmart and go to that McDonalds because you will save time and have a better experience. Richard that owns the McDonalds in this Desert area needs to take a good look at this one because it is much worse than any of the others in this area! read more

Wish i could do no stars!!!! Service here is horrible to say the least. Took forever just to get cashier on drive thru to acknowledge me at the speaker. I kept saying hello until she finally decided to answer me there wasn't anyone at the other lane either. They took a long time to get my food and had to ask for basics; napkins and ketchup unbelievable will definitely not come here again they made it seem like they were doing me a favor!!!!! read more

The establishment seems clean and everything. I went around 8 so it was kinda slow. I was attended right away but the food seemed to take a while to be done. I went to sit in the play pen and as soon as I opened the door I got the stench of being in a restroom. I realize they have a restroom in there, but why does the whole area stink? And it's weird because the restaurant appears clean. If you eat here just dont eat in the children's play pen area, its gross. read more

I am so disappointed in the service I received tonight. I purchased a soda tonight only to find that the Diet Coke syrup had run out. I nicely went over to the employee behind the counter and informed them. She assured me they would get right on it. 15 minutes later the soda machine was still not fixed. I asked again and the manager told me that they are busy and have other orders to fill. First of all, I am a paying customer and the only thing I purchased was incorrect. You should be more willing to fix that. Second, why are all the other orders more important than mine. Third, the managers attitude was AWFUL and McDonald's corporate should really pay more attention to the quality of their employees. The girl that took my order was more respectful and helpful than the manager! I know I will NEVER be returning to this location! read more

Not a clean table in the lobby and the floor was dirty as well. Ketchup all over the trash cans. What does the food prep area look like? We also waited 15 min for standard orders-no modifications.... gross and mismanaged. We are trying the new fast food pizza place in the same parking lot. read more

First I waited 30 mins because they got the order in front of me incorrect, then they got my order incorrect so I had to turn back and waited another 30 minutes; 1 long ass hour. My food was already fucking stale so I just asked for a refund and the girl insists I can't get a refund!?! Like you're the one that fucked up! So I made the bitch get her manager and give me the refund, then I took my big ass to Carl's Jr. and got some bomb ass food! Thank u, next! read more

Took 10+ minutes to get our food. Didn't give us half of our meal went back to tell them we were missing the McChickens. Gave us the wrong dressing for the salad had to go back and wait for them to give us the right one. Realized they forgot the juices for the happy meals had to go back. Finally we had everything and then didn't have a fork for the salad. Finally get to eat the McChicken and it has mayo when we asked for no Mayo!!!! Five times we had to get up to have them get our order correct. read more

Horrible experience at this McDonalds. Restrooms and entire restaurant (piles of garbage outside) were unusually unclean. Additionally, the people seemed high taking the order. I specifically told them I had a severe corn allergy 4 times and not to add corn to the salad I ordered When ready confirmed with them there was no corn and grabbed the salad in a rush since they had already taken so long to prepare it. Got in the car and realized it was full of corn tortilla chips AND CORN. I will not be going back here and am extremely disappointed McDonalds does not hold moderate standards at all of their locations. read more

Stephanie is a great manager she always makes sure my full order is complete before I leave the window. So McD's is always a classic. The only thing it makes not a classic, is flies! Not in the food, but buzzing around. Once you walk in it's like Lord of the Flies! Do they add the calorie count to the menu because I'm sure when I was eating a fly flew into my mouth. Please do something about the flies! The service was ok, they forgot three three things out of three orders! Really! read more

This mcdonalds location is literally the worst. I live nearby and have used the drive thru many times, only to have a problem with my order every time. Even the management is terrible, I had to walk in to get a sauce after getting a 20 piece and only one sauce. When I did, the manager told me it was my fault and that they'd never give out two sauces unless you ask for it specifically. Seriously? I wish I could give this a 0 out of 5 stars. CHECK YOUR ORDER BEFORE YOU LEAVE IF YOU GO HERE...that's my warning. read more

We wanted lots of ketchup and ranch and they actually did it!! They were super nice too :)

It's McDonald's. I should have low expectations I know. We were on a road trip home and the kids were starving. They were super busy, the bathroom was nasty, the TP holder was broken and tp was falling out. Trash cans were overflowing. . I asked if they still made the small snack wraps. The girl said yes. I asked for grilled and ranch and she said ok. I paid with cash. Didn't get a receipt. They said they'd call me when it was ready. 15 minutes later they called me up.they handed me the bags and said have a nice day and walked away. I called the lady back to ask if the milks were in the bags. Nope they forgot them. I get to the car we get on the road and I open my food. and I've got a large premium wrap in my bag some sweet sauce and the chicken was weird. Not sure if it was really supposed to be grilled or crispy. I did finally find a receipt in the bottom of the bag, got charged 4 for the yucky wrap. Pretty bad when a McDonald's is way worse than a normal McDonald's. Oh and the trays where the straws and such were are very dirty. As was the soda machine. :-/ read more

There are only a few ppl that work here that are actually nice, the rest r rude and always look annoyed by whatever you ask.. this morning nobody was in line, the gentleman said to pull up to the first window and they literally left me sitting there, two girls passed by the window n saw me there n never told me to pull forward.. other times they never get my order right, only reason I go there is cuz it's right next to my job. read more

Went a couple days ago and the ice cream was not working AGAIN. They never have ice cream. It's been on various times and dates and nope. No ice cream. The customer service is horrible except for the one female in the drive thru who is nice. read more

After having a bad experience with their sweet iced tea (tasted and smelled like stagnant, rotten water) around the time this location opened; it made me question their cleanliness and food safety. I decided to come back and have breakfast... I was greeted and waited on, definitely liked their customer service and thankfully the iced tea tasted the way its supposed taste. read more

This seems to be a newer store. Restaurant and restroom were clean early in the morning. Sausage biscuits for the road were correctly prepared. Not being from the area, getting back on the freeway was not intuitive. read more

Worst McDonald's ever.....wait time is ridiculous...never again....horrible customer service

Ordered for 5 people. Got all right except 2. On the one, 2 burgs were supposed to be plain. They came regular. One order was a combo, large, they omitted the fries. Waited an extra 2 minutes for straws. Pretty much a failure when you are in the road. read more

The staff here is always rude. The drive thru takes forever. And the food is always cold. Skip this one and find another.
