The worst McDonald's I have ever been too. The workers ended up arguing with the customers, the worst customer service and the food isn't correct. They don't own up to their mistakes and I am not sure who runs that fast food place but they should've closed down and Foodland should have been there. I had made 2 online mobile orders to pick up on different days because i was hungry for fries and stuff. I had a friend pick it up and when I got it, the fries wasn't hot and it was missing something from my order. I used to work for McDonald's years ago and it was the best, we competed with each other to see who got the best customer service, it was 30 second service, it was the best. The School Street location is one that I have frequented many times just because it's close to my home. The parking here is awful. It is very small and cramp. Competes with Foodland shoppers and the drivers here tend to be aggressive. Not to mention, the entrance to the drive-thru is very narrow and many times you see people backing-up their cars just to get thru!!! It's hard to define "normal" people but for some reason the patrons (as well as some of the working staff) here are "unique". Because of the drive-thru hassle I just usually park my car (and it's okay if I have to walk across from the other side of the lot just to come here), order my food, double-check my change as well as my food before I leave. I learn not to trust anymore as several times my order was wrong and didn't notice it until I got home. I just come here for the convenience. Especially when I get hungry after dinner and need to satisfy my hunger before going to bed. NOTE: (1) The dining on the 2nd floor is very spacious. Because of heavy foot traffic and turnover of tables, I think the staff here try their best to clean the tables but do to some bad experiences I don't like to dine-in here. (2) Don't be surprised when the counter staff here give you that "lost" look as some of them get flustered as this place gets really busy. When you go to a McDonald's, you expect the same standard food and service. I think this location is different because of the atmosphere and clientele. I'm very sensitive to smells. This location seems to have a stale food smell or possibly it's from the customers. It was quite crowded in the afternoon - there was a lot of energy at this busy location. I thought that there may be an AA or NA meeting near the elevator. I was too afraid to check, but I had to pass the group because they were almost blocking the way. While on vacation, I was told I had to try the McDonalds Delux Breakfast. Vacation in Hawaii to eat McDonalds breakfast...? I love McGriddles just as much as any good American, but for reals? I did as told and randomly picked this location. It's just like any other Micky D's nothing truly special. I ordered the Deluxe Breakfast and noticed that it was different. There was Spam, Portuguese Sausage, Rice, and Eggs. Talk about a great breakfast! The meats were awesome but for some reason it was the rice that stood out as extra tasty. Well worth it and it needs to make its way to the mainland. And then I saw a beauty that I haven't seen since the Hot link Bagel dog: The Haupia aka "the fried McDonalds pie." It had a delicious coconut filling and they still fry the pies here. Damned be the heath nuts that did away with fried apple pies. Flakey, creamy and a perfect treat that I miss from childhood. This McDonald's is located in Liliha, on the corner. You can't miss it because it's in the same parking thingy as Foodland. A total rescue, because if you're driving around that area and you're hungry you're like wtf where the hell are all the places to eat?! 1 Star. I do not recommend this location. I've been here many, many times and have almost always had issues but this visit was the last time. I'll never go back. Read below for a detailed review of each component. Food: My friend and I ordered 2 bacon, egg and cheese biscuits, which are 2 for $4. Instead, we received 2 sausage biscuits (no bacon, no egg, no cheese) which are $1 each, and more importantly, NOT what we wanted to eat. Service: Not friendly. The line was pretty long. When we got to the register, the server did not smile at us. We asked her what were the sandwiches that were on the 2 for $4 menu, and she just walked away without saying anything (while my friend was still talking to her). She came back with the dollar menu, which didn't even answer our question. That's pretty bad already, but the fact that our order was almost entirely wrong is just too much. I mean seriously...to completely mess it up, all they had to do was put it in a muffin instead of a biscuit! *eye roll* Ambiance: Very crowded, hectic, and uncomfortable. There seemed to be a bottleneck in ordering, which caused the line to wind all the way to the door, blocking the entrance. But clearly there are issues in the back as well, since food was taking long to get out and it was wrong when it came out. People who placed their order were forced to constantly be moving around, trying to get out of the way. Overall experience: I think anyone who goes to a fast food place has experienced something being wrong with their order, so by now we are all pretty good about checking in the bag to see if we've at least got the right number of items. But to now be expected to actually unwrap our items and open it up to ensure that they've been made correctly, that's just unacceptable. And can you still call it "fast" food if you have to wait so long for it? Final words: I do not recommend this location. Slow service, unfriendly staff and most importantly, chances are your order will be wrong. It's an incredibly busy location so I have to assume that things are so bad here because they're understaffed. I'm sure no one there intends to be rude or mess things up on purpose, and a part of me feels for the team there, because they're probably all really stressed out. Well it was a ok dining experience for me. I was hoping that when I asked for a cup of water, i didn't know that they charged 52 cents, usually a water cup is free. I was wondering when did this take place? I was really surprised that they did charge that much! I was like...what?! But anyways at least I was happy to get the 2/6.00 items here and they actually got it right for a change and i was really surprised. Most of the places don't honor and rushing to get the orders to the customers right away. Hopefully this will be a good lesson for me. Highlights: -Drive thru can get crazy. -Sometimes the crazy drive thru line is faster than the walk-in line. I always go here once or twice every 2 weeks to grab a cheat meal. Order the same thing double quarter pound with cheese bacon with no onion or pickles. This one in particular i went home fries tasted ok, diet coke tasted like shaken up coke with no carbonation but i really didn't care. but the burger it was good til i finished a few mins later my stomach felt weird and uneasy. Okay I don't usually go to Mickey D's, but I was desperately seeking a restroom and this was the one we pulled into. Boy, what a NICE looking McDonald's!! It was 2 storeys and the floor was slate. I was amazed at the Asian-inspired decor on the upper level, so TOTALLY not what a McDonald's looks like. Anyway, from what I can see, the food didn't look any better. The 3-stars are purely for the decor! UPDATE: Due to lack of time, I had to stop in here to get an Egg McMuffin. I must say, it was THE best egg mcmuffin I'd ever tasted in my life! The muffin was perfected toasted that when I bit into it, there was a crunch. The bacon wasn't soft and yucky, but was actually cooked right so that it had a slight texture to it. I recently went to the Liliha MCD around 11:45 am. I was expecting a long line, but it ended being relatively short. It still took a while to get my order due to the many large mobile orders that the staff was fulfilling. The staff was so unorganized it was Pitiful. The large French Fries looked like a medium order packed into a LG container. Our food order was complete, but someone forgot to bring the ice coffee forward, and no one followed up until we asked what happened to our order. VERY DISAPPOINTED! read more

Tonight, I don't have a life because I'm actually rating McDonald's! Who does that? You all know what Micky D's is all about so what's the point, but it's one of my guilty pleasures in life. I suddenly felt compelled to pay homage to the fast food chain I grew up with. Let's cut to the chase and get down and dirty with this cheap thrills and no frills place that has managed to consistently satisfy my most shameful and unhealthiest types of cravings. I'm an all time sucker for their fries, chicken mcnuggets, and vanilla ice cream on a cone. And although I live a healthy lifestyle now and don't frequent this chain as much as I did when I was a kid, I had to pay it my respects on yelp. Thanks McDonald's for all the happy meals and cool collectible toys you gave me along the way as a kid. I eat cleaner now, but that doesn't mean I won't visit you every now and then ;) P.S. This branch is pretty busy and in a busy parking lot with cars constantly coming and going. Not my first choice but it's the one closest to where I live. Got 4 sundaes all 4 weren't filled evenly and one was only half cup fill. We told the them when the guy handed to us, he made another cup and was a little more still less than the other cups. Anyway, there wasn't any peanuts. We ask for it, they said they out of it. This was the 2nd time not that happy about this location. The other time was the lady that cleans the soda area, my son has his frappe on the rack and grabbing a straw, that lady lifted the rack and knocked the frappe on the floor. I sometimes go here for a quick bite before heading to work. It's right along the bus lines, so I can get in and out. Plus, if you drive, that's a bonus too. Then again, you can't beat the bus for the daily commute. I did not know this McDonald's was 24 hours, but after looking at some Yelp reviews, that's good to know for middle of the night cravings. I once saw this guy complaining to the manager about something. He was quite adamant about buying coffee for his grandmother every morning and the McDonald's staff looked at him like he was a hobo. He felt disrespected so much that he had to complain to the manager. I had sympathy for him, but meh, I had my own problems to deal with. Nice people behind the counter and fast service, nothing less can be said about McDonald's. Plenty of parking and seating area, if you decide on sitting down to eat. Went to drive thru today about 1:30 pm. Ordered 2 shakes with the intent of using a mobile app coupon for 40percent off one. We arrived at the pay window handed the clerk Marie a $20.00 which she took and then tried to show her the mobile app coupon. Many attempts were made to get her attention but she never responded. Upon giving us the change we made it known that we had this coupon and tried to get her attention. Her only remark was you should have showed it to me before. We did let her know that was exactly what we tried to do. Shortly there after the manager came to the window and could only say "you should have we should have shown the coupon. This could have been easily been fixed by cancelling the transaction, but instead both decided to make this an issue. Long story short we cancelled the order and went elsewhere.
