The absolute worst McDonalds on the Island that I've been to. I always order some sort of a chicken sandwich (Grilled) and every single time I get my sandwich, there's a hamburger in it. It's so frustrating. But that's just one example. There's always something wrong with my order EVERY time. I think the biggest reason is that they're always horsing around in the back. This McDonald's location has been a huge disappointment lately. I'm not a fast food junkie by any means, but I do enjoy the occasional chicken McNuggets and french fries, especially when it's only $3 for the mcpick 2! But alas.. my orders have been messed up on repeatedly to the point where I have to double check my food orders when I receive them before driving off. As this location is frequented by my former patients, I usually fore go dining in and stick to drive thru. I've ordered items plain, and repeated my orders to make sure. For some reason or another, I still find pickles, mayo, and ketchup in my burgers. *large sigh* This location recently put up signs for a new "McCafe shake," which is supposed to be "creamier" and thicker. I was curious to try the new menu item so when I pulled up to the drive thru to order, the worker had no idea what I was talking about and thought I wanted a Shamrock shake. She had me pull up to the window instead to hear my order better. When I told her there were signs advertising the new item as a McCafe shake, she asked someone else if they knew what I was talking about. They too had no idea. My advice to them, if management or whoever is in charge of putting up their advertisements and new menu items, they should really make sure all their employees are aware and make sure that they're actually available. read more

I wish there would be a option for no stars this MacDonald's location doesn't even deserve a one star rating. This location is dirty, The way the set up for the register and to stand in line is misleading. The employees are rude and have NO customer services skills. Management is terrible. When I receive my food it's always cold my fries are never fresh or under cooked. Even going through the drive thru is a nightmare. Won't be going to MacDonald's anymore I'll try my luck at Burger king or Jack in the boxs or go to any other restaurant that will give me good customer service even If I have to pay more for my food as long as it's fresh, hot and serviced to me with good customer service. read more

Painfully slow drive thru. Credit card capability seems to be down frequently so cash only. You find that out after waiting in line a good 10 minutes. They can't scan their own McDonalds app because that's down, too. Disappointing. Might as well go to Jack in The Box. read more

One of the worst for drive thru after midnight. On 7/27/18 I arrived at the drive thru at 12:48am. There were 6 cars ahead of me. I did not get to the speaker to order until 1:17am. At the speaker I had to wait 5 to 10 minutes more before someone took my order. Of course there was another car in front of me at the pick up window. Another wait. Did not leave Mcdonald's until 1:40am. I don't blame the employees but blame this on poor Management at this location. If this was a regular restaurant and you had to wait over 1/2 hour before someone takes your order, the restaurant would get a big fat FFF. read more

Its a usual Fast food place where you order and go. I got in and out within less than 10 minutes so thats a plus. Kind of busy too and got the line going quick. But I just feel like the employees could at least put their straight faces to a smile. Really shows bad first impression of their customer service. I didnt wait too long for my food. Got it within 2-3 minutes after I order. Felt kinda quick but since I was on my phone to keep myself occupied. Once my number was called I came to claim my food and received a mediocre Thank You. Very monotone. As I mentioned a first impression shows the service you will receive. Didnt really bother me too much but its something that could easily be fixed within the store. Drive thru I wouldnt recommend which I tried but got backed up. It also caused traffic in the parking lot which was a disaster. dear, mac Donald on 414 north king street not only do you double charge me on my mobile order and tell me I owe them 3 more fuckin dollars. then told me to wait on the side, Waited for 55 MIN! And expected me to be happy customer that I got a comped meal , even made the comp meal order wrong! then i drove back to get my happy meal, the manager gives me a free small fries card then remarks "I don't know how many you have but here." My friend jacob is a huge mcds fan, and he said they had FRIED apple pies here -- they don't have that in california anymore so I thought for a minute and could not recall having had a fried apple pie. This location shares a small parking lot with Foodland, which is horrible because the drive-through lane gets packed and cars start to fill up the pathways within the parking lot, making it harder for cars to drive in and out for Foodland. Be extra wary when you walk through the parking lot!! I witnessed a car quickly reversing, almost hitting into a guy (but the guy was quick to notice and ran before the car hit him)! It's a very tight lot. However, in terms of the actual restaurant, the service was good, quick to receive my order, but they didn't get the order completely right. There is a second floor though that has more seating, which is nice. Sadly, the night I went, it was closed out. For another late night craving to McDonalds, I would come back here. Absolutely disgusting, I went to use the bathroom and there was no soap. I asked the employees at the service counter if they had any soap and they said they were out. I then asked the employees how they cleaned their hands when they had no soap and they said they just used water because their soap order was still coming in!! The thought of them assembling my burger with unwashed hands after using the bathroom made me want to throw up and I left without eating their unsanitary food. First of all, it's a health code violation because it's really freaking disgusting and secondly there is a Foodland 100 FEET FROM THE RESTAURANT, JUST BUY SOME SOAP FROM THE GROCERY STORE UNTIL YOUR SOAP ORDER COMES IN. This parking lot and drive through has to be the worst design ever. The drive through line at times is so long that it goes out of the parking lot, totally blocking in cars parked on the entrance side of the lot and any walk in diners have to park else. Not everyone wants to wait in their cars to pick up food. This must be a lost of some business. Move the drive thru lane a separate lane on Ewa side of parking lot so walk ins can come and go without being blocked by the drive through cars.... read more

Out of all of the McDonald's I've been too, this is the worst. Time after time I repeatedly need to double check my bag when I go through the drive-thru because they consistently forget things. The other night I had the WORST experience yet. I had worked all day & i finally got off of work so I decided I wanted some fast ready to go food so I went to McDonald's! I went through the drive-thru, paid for my meal, double checked the bag & left. I got home, put on my Netflix & was ready to eat! But wait... I ordered a happy meal chicken mcnuggets & I opened the box to find SAUCE. A sauce that is used on burgers & had no relevancy to CHICKEN MCNUGGETS. There were absolutely no nuggets in there, JUST THIS HORRIBLE SMELLING SAUCE. Needless to say, I was down right pissed off. I called the establishment & started talking to manager Elizabeth. She was no help whatsoever. Being so upset, I wasted more of my time & gas to drive down there because Lord knows I was NOT about to waste $5 on this crappy service/food. I showed Elizabeth what was in the box her employees gave me & all I got was a couple "oh I'm so sorry" while she didn't even have the decency to look me in the eye while speaking to me. I threw the rest of the food on the table & demanded a refund. I wanted to speak to the person who was responsible for this but no one wanted to own up for it... typical. Worst McDonald's experience ever. I give myself 1 star also for waiting 45 minutes in the drive through. Took me nearly half an hour just to order. At the pick up window I was directed to park my vehicle. Waited 15 minutes and decided to walk in. Got the attention of staff and from their reaction it seems like they forgot my order. They scrambled to complete my order. Before walking out I inspected my food, and still a few items missing. On top of everything else they put the wrong sauce for my chicken nuggets. I agree with everyone who has said that this is the WORST McDonald's that they have ever been to! I would have to say that 3/5 times if you use the drive through there will be something wrong with your order so make sure to DOUBLE CHECK your order before leaving. It's funny that I say to double check because I almost always forget and then i have to go back to get what i ordered. What I don't Understand is that if this is a corporate McDonald's then why doesn't the headquarters do something about this McDonald's! The drive-thru is crazy and inside can be even more crazy! They only have 2 registers open and a lot of time you will have customers almost going out the door! This McDonald's is very very in-efficient! I think if the workers actually took the time to double read the order and to double check the order there would be a lot less mistakes happening. The workers are always smiling and friendly but what is the use of your order gets messed up and you have to go back to get what your ordered. I was so grossed out that I had to leave before ordering. My daughter had to use the bathroom, so we went upstairs. We had to wait as the 2 stalls were occupied. When the door to one of the stalls opened, it was a worker. She was texting on her phone as she came out. She walked past us and left the bathroom. I was kind of shocked that she didn't even wash her hands! But I gave her the benefit of the doubt, thinking that MAYBE she was leaving and MAYBE she was just in the stall using her phone, not actually using the toilet. She Didn't even wait til we finished, yet she gave us our total and told us to drive to the next window, while we were still in the process of ordering! Wtf? My parents love coming to this McDonalds, mainly because there's an upstairs dining area and its pretty nice and clean. I also like this place for the same reason. I don't really like the parking lot, it gets super crowded, because this McDonalds shares the same parking lot as Foodland. read more

What baffles me is that management feels like it's a smart idea to put ROSALINA as a cashier when she moves the pace of a snail..... This wouldn't be so bad if she had not totally pushed me over the edge this morning with her crappy customer service. I usually end up grabbing breakfast here because it's down the street from my house and on the way to work; basically the best of both worlds. This morning was uneventful, I see Rosalina (yet again) as a cashier as the manager/shift leader apologizes to the line of people that there was no "runner" to help package food orders (no big deal, right?!) But after I ordered I asked Rosalina for a spoon (I ordered a #2 and iced mocha drink), nothing to warrant me asking for a spoon which she made apparent with her slamming the spoon I. my hand, but what she did NOT know is that my coffee drink had whip cream (I hate it with a passion), and instead of asking them to remove it (knowing they were incredibly busy) I thought that I would remove it myself. Count Your Chickens. McNuggets that is. While all McDonald's give pretty much the same service, I found this one to be lacking in counting skills. One my visit there with friends for a quick snack, we ordered the 20 piece McNuggets. As an aside, one of my friends quipped, "the last 2x I was here, they shorted me a McNugget". So I decided to count mine, and lo and behold, had only 19. was too late to take back to the counter because I ate 3 before we counted, but buyer beware. read more

The husband, baby, and I were going on an adventure to get the new Toy Story 3 and Lary wanted to get the McRib since it's back! So this is the McDonald's Lary wanted to go to because it was new and we've never been to this one. Anyway, we made it this McDonald's around 6:30ish. There actually weren't too many people... just kinda looked like a lot of loiterers inside. I have no idea if they spoke fluent English... sometimes that helps me judge a good McD from a bad one. You know if they don't understand you in the drive thru, chances are you're going to get your order messed up. Anyway, Lary ordered and it seemed like our food took forever but at least our fries were fresh! Lary got his McRib and I got the two cheeseburger meal. Meal was decent and there were a lot of employees cleaning the place up so it wasn't messy. While it was a kinda shady area at night, I wouldn't mind hanging out there during the day. It turns into a whole new place at night it seems... well the area, not the McDonald's. If I was a senior citizen, this would be a nice area to meet my girlfriends for a cheap senior citizen discount coffee. read more

Ordered a crispy chicken club , no mayo , no tomato and got home and found a grilled chicken with Mac sauce scraped off on the side of the box with a soggy bun. Called to complain to the manager and was just told will get another sandwich. When 70year old with cane walked four blocks in pouring rain to show them the sandwich, manager didn't even come out to greet customer. When got home had cheese on sandwich which doesn't come with cheese. Wrote to corporate too. Will never go back there. read more

Go to a different McDonald's. Right down the street from where I live but I refuse to go there. Fries are stale and soggy and more importantly only half full.
