This McDonald's is the busiest I've ever been to so was really surprised when our order was done within 5 min. Got a quarter pounder meal and a double quarter pounder meal with two chicken nugget meals. The food was good, service was great... the fries were not fresh so I left off one start for that. Why would I rate a fast food chain? I guess the only reason is when they can't get an order correct. I place an order In the drive-through and made the mistake of not checking the bag ensuring its contents are correct(I figured what I ordered would be there). It was when I was 5 miles away, when I dove into the Golden Arches bag, only to notice missing items. When nothing goes wrong ordering on the app, usually fine. However, the app is terrible, which isn't the location's fault. Their customer service in handling it, on the other hand, is. Once when the order didn't go through, I was literally told there was nothing they could do rather than offer to take my order in person. Another time, I tried to use a coupon from the app at the drive through and it wasn't working. Instead of looking at the coupon and just fixing the price to match, they had to call support to try and fix the servers. I don't even know where to start... 1. Immediately upon walking in, the restaurant smelled like a bathroom. 2. Almost none of the tables were wiped off. 3. I witnessed one of the workers being rude to an old man because he barely knew how to use his debit card. 4. One of the things that I ordered was a buttermilk chicken sandwich... and the patty was as tough as rubber. 5. The flies... Jesus. There were probably five or six flies on every single table. Hell, they were probably feeding off of all the crumbs that were everywhere. 6. I guess the only good thing is that the ice cream machine wasn't broken. Overall... they need to do better. read more

The staff are always very helpful and friendly. The food is always hot and we know what to expect! It's McDonald's! I do have some issues with their hiring manager/process. I applied and received a text about coming in for a scheduled interview. I showed up at 9 pm in the evening, which seemed like a strange time to have an interview. The door was locked, since the dine-in area was closed. I knocked on the doors and took several minutes for someone to appear. The manager did not show up. Called back the next day and rescheduled my interview. I interviewed with the manager and she said, "I'll call you by the end of the day if we want to hire you." Fair enough I said, but no call. Waited 24 hours, called back, the manager said, "we are still making our decisions and I will call you back by 6 pm tonight." That is such specific time information, so I said fine. No call. What a waste of my time. Please treat people with more respect for the time they put in to prepare and get hired. Not impressed at all by the run around. Cedric should not be a manager. This location is consistantly uninterested in customer service !!! I tried to get breakfast before work today. Their swiping machine would not read my card, which has never had an issue. The employee tried twice and gave up. I asked her to ask for help or maybe try another register because I had no cash on me. The "manager on duty" Sedric did not appreciate being asked for help by his employee. Before he even slid my card he told her that we just couldn't do it cuz it was my cards problem. Yet they both were using reciept paper to cover my card while sliding as if this was a regular issue for them. I asked if he could try another register. Nope. His attitude was awful! Palms turned out and rolling eyes at me. He would not give his last name. I asked why he was dressed as a manager when he was being so rude and offering zero customer service. He told me to leave three times. I will take my money to Carl's from now on when in grass valley. Perhaps Cedric should try making the fries or burgers again because dealing with customers is not a skill of his! I go to this McDonald's a lot. I mostly get good service. Lately though my orders were incomplete and unfortunately I didn't notice until I got to work. So be sure to check your order before you leave! The building could use some maintenance and is a little run down. The menu board doesn't light up.. the speakers have static... it could use some up dating like the McDonald's in Auburn. Overall the servers were nice but they didn't get my order right so that lowers my rating. read more

I live down the road from this location. During my weekly errands I make it my French Fry n $1 drink stop. I Do Not go to this location after dark. The drive-thru menu board drive has no lights. I have asked multiple times and always told the same thing. That they have asked management and they don't know why it's not fixed. My last 3 trips to this location have been disappointing, and unfortunately I don't discover the error until I get to my destination, which is usually work. I do not blame the store for the poor service, but some of the employees never fail to ruin my experience. 'Thank you, have a great day' is almost never said to me at this location, nor am I ever greeted upon entry. On my last visit, a metal pan used to hold the grease sifter was dropped on the floor and then promptly put back in place without washing or sanitizing it. This prompted my mediocre review, and if your health means anything to you, then you probably should not eat here. I shudder to think what else might hit the floor and never be washed. read more

I agree with the reviewer who said this location can't seem to get orders right. Today I went through the drive-thru and ordered 5 regular hamburgers and five hamburgers with mustard and pickle only. I watched as the read-out on the screen changed a million times to finally reflect what I ordered. You would think that if the screen shows what you ordered, you're okay. Is that not the purpose of the screen in the first place? I purposely did not order cheeseburgers because my family has been sick and cannot eat cheese right now.
