I don't usually review places like McDonald's but this one was exceptionally odd to deal with. There was a line at where you order which wasn't a problem but there were lots of posted signs put on tape stating that Breakfast was served up to a certain time, fountain drinks had no refills and so on. I don't know if this is just for this location or if it's something on a corporate level but all these improvised signs seemed odd. Restrooms were in need of cleaning attention and looked like they needed a deep cleaning. My breakfast sandwich was okay but wasn't impressed with the odd after taste in the biscuit. I have been going to McDonald's on 6th Street daily for many, many years and have met the owner of all three McDonald's restaurants. There is a young girl there who lied about the coffee being fresh and argued about it. I know what wonderful coffee this restaurant has served me for years. Her second lie was that it had half and half in it when it did not. She argued again. Her third lie, she told her manager was that I threw the replacement coffee above at her. When I returned the next day, her manager informed me that I am not permitted at McDonald's and refused to serve me. He should have investigated and would have found that there was no coffee on her, the counter or the building and only 4 drops on my car door. I would have stayed in the parking lot to drink it had it been something other than black tar. Since I was leaving, I very carefully poured the coffee on the ground as my car was packed and I did not want a balancing act with the coffee. I retained the cup to dispose of later. This is an unfortunate event. I have friends who want to meet again for coffee as in pre COVID days. We decided on Starbucks. Thanks McDonalds, for many years of positive experiences. read more

Just a tourist but usually stop by near here to charge the car and use the washroom or I stay at one of the inns/motels near. Workers are fast and friendly and food comes out quick. Ordered a large strawberry banana smoothy and he tried handing me the cup that was about 1.5" from the top. Smoothies are expensive and he tried passing off a medium in a large cup. I asked for it to be filled to the top and he started yelling and waving his arms around saying "Oh my God, he wants it filled to the top, make another one, he wants it filled to the top" as he was turning in circles telling the everyone. I have not been to McDonald's in years and I am so embarrassed how little effort the employees make to help you there. All the employees are really young. The sandwiches are half wrapped. But the weirdest is I ordered a soda and an employee tries to set it on the table. Keep in mind it is a very obvious smashed cup. Like there was no bottom. So I grabbed it so it wouldn't spill on me. I giggled and asked the guy if he was serious. He blankly stared at me. I got up and asked for a new cup. I wasn't mad but confused on how confused the young worker was. Give me a break. Sometimes your order is right, most of the time it isn't. I don't know when McDonald's employees stopped saying "hi welcome to McDonald's what can I get started for you", and started saying "what do you want" or "what's up" at the drive threw. I like treating myself to breakfast once in a while. Every time I've tried I wait a minimum of 15 minutes in line and most times I have to leave the line, because it takes so long and I would be late for work. --- 5-stars for service --- Wifi spots are tough to find in Grants Pass. My go-to place, Blue Stone, was closed, Dutch Brothers had no free tables so my hunt brought me to McDonalds of all places. Even tougher, my laptop was plum out of batteries so I was hunting for not just wifi but outlets to boot. Good luck. Getting work done at McDonalds? Seems like a new low, but this location's staff was a huge surprise. + When I walked in, I was warmly greeted by the counter staff, even though I was mostly looking around for outlets (i.e. I didn't approach the counter, but they said Hi anyway). + I asked about outlets because it didn't seem there were any. John at the counter suggested that I plug into an outlet right at the end of the counter (almost within the food prep area) and wrap the cable around the corner to the nearest table. He helped me set it up, and then took my order. I don't see this level of creative thinking from most people in the food and hospitality business, much less at a QSR. + The mocha frappe John made was awesome. Very rarely does something actually look like it does in the ads. This did. + John is great but the entire staff seemed incredibly friendly to everyone. I stayed there for several hours right next to the order counter. - It's McDonalds. But nothing exceptionally negative other than that. read more

Came here for snacks on the drive back from Seattle. Their restrooms looked more like that of a gas station. They were not able to get the order correctly. And my nuggets tasted like bread, which is strange since I regularly eat nuggets in other locations without a problem. read more

I don't know how you can really screw up working at McDonalds, but I guess it's possible. We asked for extra creamers and sugar packets for our coffee. The girl behind the counter politely obliged but couldn't find any. Rather than helping her serve us, her manager (who was super busy obsessively wiping a counter over and over) said "I told you, you should have restocked them earlier". Congratulations lady, you fail at life. Additionally, my coffee was scalding hot, and my Egg McMuffin unusually bland, as if it needed salt. Again, I don't know how you can really screw that up. This is a review of the bathroom, not the food. I typically don't expect an amazing bathroom at a fast-food joint. I do expect some reasonable levels of cleanliness. As evidenced by the 2 star review here, they obviously didn't cut the mustard by my book. Let's just say that the toilet seats themselves were far less than clean and that they floors could have used a good sweeping and wipe down. They did have all appropriate paper products in stock and on hand. An extra half star was lost due to the fact that there was an actual manager's meeting in the restaurant going on during my visit. I haven't read any other reviews for this McDonald's yet so I'm not sure why it has so few stars but I am a tourist passing through and this is the best McDonald's I've ever had everybody was super helpful. I'm vegan and they used to have a veggie wrap that they don't sell anymore so I asked for the regular snack wrap and just put whatever veggies (no chicken cheese or ranch) they could inside and they didn't question it but they had more to offer they were like "we have black beans and we have corn you want that you want this" I was like yeah wow you're so helpful thank you very much they were quick and prompt in the food was so delicious everything was really good five stars from me read more

The McDonalds is new! Bright and shiny. And there the amazing experience ends. This was the third time we have visited since the remodel. I wasn't going to review after the first visit............cold food. Nor was I about to give a poor review the second time.... Missing food.... However, the third time. I suppose its time for me to mention to the Manager that even if you have a new building, this doesn't excuse the lack of attention to product. This order was missing food, and wrong food. We take our grandchildren out to dinner when we have them. And McDonalds seems to be the favorite. The order was missing food. Luck for us it was my order that was not added to the bags. And since we use the drive-thru, we are at the mercy of the employees. I don't think its too much to ask to have the clerk ensure we get what we ordered. How hard can this be? My advice? Go two blocks up to In N Out............. No clown, but perhaps you will get your meal correct. read more

As a family we rarely go to McDonalds, and when we do its for breakfast. So today we went in and ordered 6 sausage egg and cheese McMuffins with 2 hash browns. The girl behind the counter, although nice enough (and the only reason they get 1star) had to redo our order four times. When we got home, every sandwich had no egg, and the hash brown looked so old. We called back and spoke to "Brian" who was allegedly the manager. We were far away at this point, and "Brian" was rude, inconsiderate and anti-customer. He demanded (not asked) we drive all the way back with the food undisturbed and our receipt. When we told him we couldn't come back due to distance and time constraints, he said, "That's not our problem. You have to prove we messed up or we won't help you!" Typical uneducated people attempting customer service. Needless to say, we'll share this around town and McDonalds will lose customers. read more

Worst McDonalds I've ever been too. Horrible costumer service. Went in and the cashier was training someone for the job. She proceeded to explain every little detail while taking our order, making our food, and bagging it. I ordered a milkshake and when they handed it to me the bottom half was just vanilla syrup. I had to ask for a foundation drink to replace it, to which the cashier turned to the trainee and said when the customer doesn't want something we have to just throw it away.
