Stopped by for breakfast. I got the World Cup meal but they restricted the breakfast sandwich choices. Pretty steep up charge for the cup. Bathrooms were very clean. Food taste was excellent. Service speed was fairly slow. Not sure what took so long. read more

This place continues to go downhill due to the staff, rude management when something goes wrong and you bring it up to them, like a Big Mac made without cheese and pickle and they use a piece of meat that's torn the top patty had half of the patty left, a spicy deluxe mccrispy with mayo and 2 bottom buns which defeats the purpose of it being a spicy. I don't recommend this place unless you want a messed up meal and management that'll be rude to you when you tell them your foods not right, they'll fix it most of the time but will still be rude. read more

Ordered sausage egg biscuit for 1.99. received what I ordered, was charged 4.49 for something else. Ordered big breakfast, received no eggs. These are just two different times. Took grands in for lunch. Ordered 2 happy meals with the 6 piece nuggets. Grandson doesn't eat meat so he only got fries. They gave us 2 4 piece in a box that said 6. I went to counter saying excuse me to get someone's attention. Told they the problem they said I'll bring you a six piece, I just need 4 pieces. Nope. Brought six piece rudely. Acted like I was trying to steal something. Grands needed more sauce when she went up and asked was told very rudely. Thats 39 cents. I went up to give her the money. The manger yelled one just one. They are so rude there. I didn't realize the sauces were a national treasure not to be handed out. Grands were shaken. Totally uncalled for. read more

Restroom not serviced. No napkins , no ketchup packets nor ketchup dispenser on the self serve condiment counter. Cashier said "we don't put that stuff out because people steal it". Ordered the "new limited time spicy chicken with hot honey sauce ". Apparently they put the sauce on with an eyedropper because I could barely find a speck of sauce; Don't hype it only to deny it. I've stopped at this interstate location from time to time and unpleasant surprises have become just unpleasant. read more

An alright McDonalds that's reasonably quick at preparing food (maybe a little slower than others near the highway), in a fairly friendly manner. The store itself is fairly clean and the food is consistent. Parking is plentiful here and all the standard favorites are on the menu. read more

My husband and I stopped at the McDonald's in Gilman, Illinois, on our trip to Chicago. We needed to stop and rest our legs. Place was disgusting! Flies, no napkins, sticky floors, no toilet paper in the bathrooms, sinks on the bathrooms look like they haven't been wiped down in months. They forgot my toy in my Minecraft meal. That's a big deal. They gave us the wrong order too

I get that they don't like to serve hot coffee because of that lawsuit years ago, but I like my coffee hot. I want it hot, not lukewarm. Also, my hashbrown wasn't crispy. It was soggy. A soggy hashbrown. Worst part, this was all on my wife's birthday. Why would you do that on her birthday? I'm taking my business to Dairy Queen. read more

While the restaurant was modern and clean, it failed its primary function of providing the food customers paid for. They forgot two drinks, a milkshake, and a nugget meal. We caught all of the mistakes, except for the nuggets, while still there. The people who fixed the errors offered no apology, no "have a nice day" or even eye contact. All of the technology in the world can't replace the personal touch of good customer service. This McDonalds might be modern but it lacks the time proven benefits of a staff that cares. The two stars are for quality food and restaurant cleanliness. read more

Well, I did order my Big Mac meal with extra pickle. I suppose it's my responsibility to tell them that I wanted it on the inside of the bun. I also had to send my daughter back up to get fries, as the order taker had missed that part of her order. Perhaps they should read orders back so they can confirm...? The restaurant isn't clean. The self-order kiosks are also here- not a fan, though I suppose that's a personal preference. I'm eating, and have had time to post this review, while the person who ordered after me still doesn't have food. Awkward. read more

Youll get quicker service at a slow roast than this McDonald's. Waited 40 minutes for a 20 peice

Stopped by to grab some breakfast on they way, and I can honestly say this was the best Location I have ever been too. The McMuffin I order looked exactly like the picture and was delicious. The muffin was toasted and the sausage, egg and cheese were stacked up nicely. I am not even joking. You can tell they take pride in the food they are putting out. The hash brown was golden crisp, not soggy like you get in other locations. The apple pie I order was perfectly cooked, not stale on verge to expiring like others. Whatever they are doing, keep it up!! I really enjoyed my food! read more

So I wondered how a McDonalds could be a 2 Star rating. Well it is easy. We ordered some basic breakfast items at almost 8am sausage McMuffin, Biscut and a apple pie. Were quickly informed they did not have any apple pies. So as we paid for our meal at the window I inquired as to why no apple pies. A manager then proceeded to tell me that they were short handed, opened late, blah, blah, blah. I am thinking to myself this is simple. It takes literally secs to drop the darn things in the fryer then you ate off till the timers goes off doing something else. SMH the service was really quick and the food hot. So my opinion is the management may be the issue when things don't go as planned the crew and the customers count on the management to step up and provide plan B. read more

Way to go, McD! Following all safety rules, and very clean inside. Friendly efficient staff and good food. You're doing it right!

This location was remodeled about a year ago at which time they installed 2 drive up order stations. However I think I've only ever seen them use one of them. Generally the service is good, staff friendly and food is hot and fresh and my orders are 99.9% of the time, they get my order right. Twice in the last ten days, the locations on Route 50 in BOURBONNAIS has not given me something that was supposed to be included in the meal.. And the wait time there is REDICULOUS. We waited 25 minutes to take our order and then when we got to the first window we waited another 5 minutes because no one was at the window. I honked and said hello. When the McDonalds employee came to the window she rudely read back our order and asked is that you? I told her that she didnt need to be rude because we were the ones that just waited 30 minutes for food that they usually have ready in a matter of minutes. She repeatedly tried to cut me off and then ended up refunding the order and refusing service to us. Not your ordinary McDonalds! Rudanne (sorry if I got that name wrong) and Cisco were the two nicest employees. Cisco greeted everybody that came in with a friendly hello. Rudanne delivered the two McRib meals to our table and even made a follow up visit asking how our meal was. Were we in the twilight zone or a prank tv show? Nope. It was a McDonald's in Gilman, Illinois!! And is getting An after dinner mint a McDonald's thing now? That was a nice surprise. Stopped on a road trip. Ordered food at 10:29 am. Breakfast. All workers screaming at each other from behind the counter. At 10:50 my husband asked where our food was. The woman behind the counter told him she was short 6 people and was dealing with teenagers. He responded that was fine but it had been over 20 minutes. She threw two sandwiches in a bag and basically threw it at him. Got on the road and found two spicy chicken sandwiches when we had ordered two breakfast sandwiches. My husband and I just went through this McDonald's at 1145pm after deciding last minute to go through there after getting off the interstate. It closes at 12am. We sat in the drive thru for ten minutes before I called and told them "hey, we've been in your drive thru for ten min and no one has taken our order". The manager said "yeah we're closed babe all the lights are off". I said you close at 12am, we've been here for 10 minutes. She told me that they had someone "coming in to do some maintenance". Well, serve your customers that come BEFORE CLOSING TIME before you do your "maintenance". Mind you, there were 4 cars ahead of us that got served. Very poor customer service.
