Friendly service, but way too slow. Took too long for the food. They were just standing around.

My god the service here is so consistently terrible. The lady working the counter who always seems like she is actively under the influence never fails to take several minutes to simply acknowledge my presence. This is always followed by her taking another 5-6 minutes to take my order, which is then followed up with another 10-15 minutes to receive my order. She actually forgot about me one time, after having me pull forward in the drive thru, and I had to reverse my car back to the window to get her attention. Her compensation for such incompetence was a free Oreo pie and a paper Burger King crown. read more

Absolutely horrible! 0 stars. Will not return. service is a joke. nobody inside gets along. nobody is happy to be at work and I understand but that is your job. if you don't like it then go elsewhere. food is cold and wrong 99% of the time. They don't keep a good inventory at all. Ordered a 2 for $ 6.00 Double Crossaint and Large Hash Browns on Sunday 05/04/25 and waited for 5 minutes to order at drive through and on Ticket took order at 10:16 AM and waited in Drive Through till 10:40 AM . All i recieved was a Sorry no free food or refund for making me wait and i had to go inside to get My Food ! Horrible Service on Weekends in the Morning at Burger King in Gilman Illinois Store # 11903 . Understaffed and No Owner Present to Pick Up the Slack . Actually shocked at how pleasant my experience was here! No part of our order was wrong, the burgers were actually beautiful & every part of it was made well, plus they gave me a crown. We ate at the restaurant and food was terrible. Luke warm nuggets, hard old fries. No cheese on a cheeseburger, which was dry and tasted like cardboard. Wanted something fast and cheap so I stopped her real quick. Wow just pulling in this didn't seem right. This place looks rundown and a hair above abandoned. I was skeptical but whatever I drove to the drive thru. Nope nope and nope. The menu board was all broke up and lights showing. Ok if this is how they take care of what you see then what does stuff we don't see look like. This owner is obviously just milking this restaurant. The employees obviously don't care either. Went through the drive thru while working in the area. The building and property need a serious facelift. It looks like little to no maintenance is done outside. The menu was broken and repaired with duct tape, it also had discontinued items on it. All very concerning. Against my better judgment I ordered anyway, my meal was actually pretty decent, but I drove away wondering about the cleanliness of the kitchen. read more

Went through the drive thru. Ordered chicken fries and a chicken fry meal. Very prompt at the window. Food was warm and came up very quickly. Staff was not very friendly- but still a good experience. Would come back 5/5 for warm food and quick service, but 4 overall because of the unfriendliness of the staff. read more

Went through the drive through. We had an order for 5 people, not terribly large. We were asked to drive to the front and wait. I found out they completely forgot about us and didn't know where our order was. It was placed on a counter and forgotten. Very unorganized not well managed. read more

I don't think I've had a time here that the food was cold or the service was bad. The drive thru crew has always been pleasant, and generally drop everything fresh for the order. Sometimes they forget the zesty sauce on the first try. Sometimes you can pick up the free wi-fi from the nearby Denny's. read more

Normally I do not write reviews on restaurants like this. However, this was unlike any other Burger King I've ever been to. My younger sister and I were road tripping to visit our sister who lives on the tip of Illinois. Yes, I know from Chicago going that far south is one far trip! We stopped by this BK along the highway. Seriously, I was impressed by how clean this BK was and the friendliness of their service. Perhaps the last few BKs I've been to have been a little questionable/shady/scary ...sometimes a girl just wants a whopper lol! Then I saw something that I don't think I ever saw at any national fast food joint ever...they ask for your name when you place your order. Then tell you to sit and they'll bring out your food to the table. Yes...strange, right? Then your food was presently nicely on your tray when it was brought to your table. Seriously, I don't think I've ever seen such a perfectly wrapped Whopper in a box nor have I ever seen a Whopper come in a box. FYI- they've free wi-fi too! read more
