The restaurant is very clean and well maintained and I was especially impressed with how spotless the bathrooms were which shows how much pride they take in their place. The food was absolutely delicious. I loved being able to customize my burrito exactly how I wanted it. It was not greasy at all and everything tasted fresh with the portions just right. They also serve free chips and salsa which was such a nice surprise and made the meal feel even more special. It is a big deal to me when I can get fresh food that is not oily while on the road and this restaurant really delivered that. The outdoor seating is another big plus. Basic family owned and operated Mexican restaurant in a town that doesn't have any competition. It's something they certainly benefit from. They know no one else in town is serving what they're serving. Basically drinks are the best things on the menu so get a few. It's about $9 for a margarita. Add a couple bucks to get a flavor. The regular size is pretty big it seems. It's about $12 for an entree. We each got the Veggie Fajitas. A lot of things were stuffed in here and it was quite enough. There was bell peppers, mushrooms, onions, and tomatoes, along with beans, guacamole, lettuce, pico de gallo, and sour cream which I left off. Other menu items include Americanized stuff like chimichangas. The food just was really slow being made, probably because of the family that took up a few tables. For sure the drinks are as good as the food. It's often even better than the food especially when it takes so long you might not get it. Nothing fancy as you can see by the pictures but on point. During the 5 minutes I was there, it was clearly obvious that I was the only non local in the establishment. What made it even more frustrating was that they weren't particularly busy at the time. We watched people who came in after us get waited on while we continued sitting there. I tried three separate times to get one of the younger waitresses' attention, but not a single person acknowledged us or even looked our direction. Eventually, after half an hour of being completely ignored, we got up and left. As we were walking out, the owner actually thanked us for coming in, apparently without realizing that we had just spent 30 minutes sitting in his dining room without receiving any service whatsoever. A family member later asked about what happened because I had told him I wouldn't be going back. The owner and the older waitress reviewed the footage and confirmed that we had, in fact, been sitting there for approximately 30 minutes without being served. The owner's explanation was that he thought we had already been waited on and had already eaten. That explanation honestly makes very little sense to me considering there was never any food, drinks, dishes, or anything else brought to our table. The older waitress initially apologized for what happened, but then proceeded to have what my family member described as a nasty attitude toward him for the remainder of his visit, and that attitude apparently continued when he returned another time. As far as the food itself, from my previous experiences here, I've found the offerings repetitive. It seems like much of the same food over and over without much variety or anything really changing. I understand restaurants make mistakes and tables occasionally get overlooked. But they weren't slammed, we were sitting in the middle of the dining room, I repeatedly tried to get someone's attention, customers who arrived after us were being served, and we were still ignored for 30 minutes. The fact that they later reviewed the footage and confirmed how long we had been sitting there only makes the experience more unbelievable to me. One star. I won't be returning.

The dressing seemed to contain dairy, but the team was very helpful in guiding me and making sure I had what I needed. It quickly became one of my favorite salads I've had in a long time. My husband sampled some of their pastries and said they were delicious. They also had a massive cinnamon roll on the counter, probably close to ten inches wide. I didn't get it this time, but if you're a cinnamon roll person, this is absolutely the place to indulge. They have regular sized ones too if you're not ready to commit to the giant version. The server was so kind, and I think the manager spoke with us as well. She was just as friendly. I also really liked the decor, which gave the place a comfortable, welcoming vibe. And small detail, but appreciated: they have a baby changing table in the bathroom, which I know is a lifesaver for a lot of families.
