I don't even know why I still come here. This place is so absolutely awful. In my last 3 orders they have forgotten pancake syrup, a large fry, and an entire burger! Not to mention it takes almost half an hour waiting for your food. Besides from all of their awful service and cooking, be sure to check out all the crumbs left unclean under each table, on each seat, and in a pile on the ground. Great location, easy to get in and out, large well spaced out atmosphere with very clean bathrooms, I have noticed constant traffic here over the years driving by and going in. Seems a well maintained and slightly above average fast food spot, McDonald's has dropped off my options list as their awful ingredients promote abysmal health risks but for once a year fast and fun can't go wrong. read more

This location is a good stopping point while traveling through Central Illinois. I stop here often while traveling between Rantoul and the Chicago burbs. The drive through service is usually pretty quick and the dining room is clean. My only complaint is I often have to wait when I order chocolate chip cookies. Perhaps I shouldn't order so many at a time? read more

Had to update my review after what happened today. Wish there were more places to eat in this town because I will NOT eat here again. I went through the drive through at lunch, before they were busy and placed my order. Had a specific request on the order. They read it back to me, and order was as I specified. I got home and it was wrong. My son took it back. The manager shrugged and acted like it was no big deal. Did not offer to remake the sandwich. An elderly customer butted into the conversation and when he ignored her, she HIT HIM. He asked the manager again about his sandwich and if he thought it was okay that his customers were allowed to hit other customers and the manager clenched his fists, and then threw my son out. I have traveled around this country and have stopped at many McDonalds', however none compare to this one. The workers were so friendly and joyful. I stopped here on my way home from college and the food was nice and hot. I got chicken nuggets and they were perfectly crispy too! My mom got French fries and they were delicious! This place is sure going downhill. I use to eat here more often than I should have and they almost never got my order wrong. I miss the Dobski's =/ That sure isn't the case any longer. I order everything plain...so I expect mistakes now and then. But to experience issues 3 out of 5 times is just not good. They get my drink wrong, or the sandwich has onions on it. It's kind of sad. Also, the drive thru. UGH. Now, I know it's not the stores fault that people are jerks and have no issue with cutting in line, BUT they could put cones up to discourage this behavior. Best damn Mc Donald's I've ever been to. And I've been to thousands around the world. The food was perfect, the store was immaculate, we were greeted upon arrival, ordering was quick, food was a little slow, but that seemed to be because it was being made 'fresh'. Well worth the 3-4 minute wait. Food was presented looking as though it just came out of a magazine photo. French fries were perfect, not like 'nails'. Pleasant atmosphere for a Mc Donald's. If it is not just a 'company owned store', the franchisee should be complimented on his establishment. Staff is friendly for the most part. I never go in, always drive-thru. They always seem to mess up something small or take WAYYY too long for an order. I have eaten at many McDonald's because it seems we are always on the go! We went to this location today and it was 10:15 a.m. They were very busy so I used the new kiosks they have upfront, very easy, I paid and waited for 15 minutes for the order. I had an iced coffee and waited for it after we got the order and had added whipped cream and caramel drizzle at the kiosk the girl didn't put it on and when I asked for it she said " you see we are very busy" and dismissed my request! I had completely written off this McDonald's a few years back...they always messed up my order at the drive-through, the fries were cold,long lines,etc. Well, they have won my business back, big time. The thing that hooked me was the large dollar fountain drinks, and their breakfast sandwiches which are heavenly. They have remodeled and it's a very attractive restaurant now. The double drive-thru has really cut down on waiting times, and they have the property landscaped with beautiful prairie plants (coneflowers, black-eyed susans, etc.) that give you something nice to look at while you wait. This is one of the worst McDonald's i have ever been to. Every time i go i ask for extra onions and every time they either put no onions or 2 slivers even when i ask for even more extra onions on the side they will not give them to me..and this has happened 6 times now and every time when they remake it they will not put cheese on the new sandwich. Then they are rude when u tell them they have messed up. And they never give you napkins in your bag. I understand keeping food costs low but really what happened to customer service. Had it with this place! I went thru the drive thru last week and asked for 2 McDoubles with extra ketchup. I got plenty of ketchup,....it took about 4 napkins to get it all wiped off my arm. Some jackwagon in the back thinks he is a comedian and flooded those 2 sandwiches. When I called the store to complain I was all but called a liar and totally blown off by the Mgr on duty.....Not impressed! Tonight I ordered 2 McRibs....just the opposite. The McRibs which are meant to be served with a generous portion of BBQ sauce had a very small amount on 1 side of the bun. If you took off the heel, there was no sauce at all visible. I work in food service and am a former McDonalds employee and have made hundreds if not thousands of those 2 very simple sandwiches....The quality is so very poor that I really don't see myself going back unless it is at gun point. I had an order messed up several times.......and it was the same sandwich ! One particular day they messed it up 3x and made me late for work. I was upset by 3rd time. The manager Melissa made it right and I thought everything was ok. I went in next day to order something and a worker mouthed off thinkin I didn't hear her bout me. I called corporate and nothing was done bout this situation. She still works there because she is dating a shift manager. How sad that the employees think they are there for us.
