Came in after a long day at the Hot Rod Power Tour. Not only did this hard working staff cater lunch at that event for a few hundred people, they still kept their doors open to many families from the Tour for dinner. Kim the manager is amazing! Took great care of us with a great sense of humor, even after a long day. The staff was hustling, well done! Food was great, we really enjoyed the nachos. The BLT was on point after a hot day. Not sure when we will be back in Rantoul, but I will definitely come back to ET's if we do. read more

Interesting place in this small town. Two sides to this restaurant; one a bar and the other a different bar. Seat yourself and you get a tablet to check out the menu....but you can't order from the tablet..,that's odd. Our food and drinks came out quickly, hot and delicious! The burgers were so good-- the caramelized onions were sweet and deep! I upgraded to the house Mac & Cheese; served in its own ovenware with a baked crust, wow was it good! For a small town, this place is legitimate! read more

Highly recommend this place. Great food, great and fun service. Fair prices. Nice atmosphere as well. We will go back to try the BBQ!

I absolutely love the Reuben here -- it's always flavorful and perfectly prepared. I usually pair it with the smoked mac and cheese, which is rich and comforting, or the sweet potato fries, which have just the right balance of crispiness and sweetness. The chicken quesadilla is another standout, packed with flavor and cooked just right. Their burgers are consistently delicious, and the peanut butter and Sriracha bacon sliders offer a bold, unique combination that somehow works perfectly together. Their service is spot on. kudos to Kim and her team!!! read more

I loved the unique name and taste of the drinks. The staff is so friendly. I really loved the mixed appetizer plate! The quesadillas actually have food inside and they are so filling. read more

This is such a nice place in a small town. We visited ET's after spending time at the reindeer ranch (just 5 min away). Enjoyed drinks & a meal. The staff was so friendly & provided great service. They were able to answer questions we had about the menus. I would definitely recommend this spot! read more

We were looking for a fish fry (during Lent) so we stopped in at ET's Downtown since a "Friday Fish Fry" was advertised on their published menu. As it turns out, it is simply a fish sandwich. Here's what the menu states: "Kick off your weekend with Fish Fridays, featuring our hand breaded cod, with your choice of a side." Well this girl, from the heart of Wisconsin, knows what a Fish Fry is and a sandwich is not that. When I pressed the waitress a bit, she became rude and snarky. My companion's ribeye was OK. read more

The hard working waitstaff on a busy night took the time to explain some options, food was good and hearty, and the checkout was timely. Unfortunately, it's likely will won't be back as we were returning home to Michigan from Lake of the Ozarks and we were off the beaten path. Glad we stopped in Rantoul! read more

New Year's Eve 2023 I met a guy in a blind date here. A year later -New Year's eve 2024, we went back for our first anniversary!! Food was amazing! Service great! Great food and a fun atmosphere. We were a HUGE group and they accommodated us with no problem at all. The servers were amazing. I had the burger that comes with pulled pork on top of it. Oh, and my server said I had to try the onion rings. She was right! Those were so good! read more

Excellent lunch. Lots of construction in street outside but place was going strong. Wish we had a place like this where we live.

I don't think that my meal could've been better. After looking at all of the options we decided to get the pulled pork nachos, the "crack" fries and the wedge salad with brisket. This was for two adults and one small child. It was a ridiculous amount of food. Usually when the food is super good like that I can manage to cram a pretty decent amount into my big face hole. But it was just so much. But it was so good. I battled with myself for much of the time I was at ETs. I finally had to give in and take a to go container. I cannot recommend this restaurant more highly. Excellent! read more

So went early on Saturday...4:30 or so and place was somewhat busy. Still plenty of open tables. What is lacking here is the service. Our appetizer came out before our drinks. When waitress came to table to get drink orders we were ready to order food too. She initially told us no to taking our food order because another table was there before us. You're here why not take our order??? She was pleasant but not attentive due to what I believe to be her being overwhelmed. Seemed like she had quite a bit to handle by herself. Food was ok. Burgers are typical and nachos had large portions of fat on them. Assuming they use fat from the pulled pork on nachos. Place wasn't bad by any stretch but could be so much better with more support for bar and wait staff. Everyone was friendly and place is nice just need to support staff better I believe. Rated a 3 but if you go when not busy service would be better and would prob go a 4. read more

What a darling find in this tiny little town. Super cute inside and plenty of TVs all tuned to the right sports. Attentive & very friendly service. But the food is the real win. Brisket melts in your mouth, the Crack Fries have the perfect amount of sauce & bacon and are worth every calorie. Even the iced tea was really good - the sign of a place that cares. Sub-par burger patty used at this place. The burger patty reminds me pattys that are sold at big warehouse clubs like Sam's/CostCo that has been grilled to the point where the outside is charred, inside is tough AND it seems like it wasn't freshly cooked. Tasted like a burger patty that's been cooked an hour ago and has just been sitting under a heat lamp. Wasn't juicy or flavorful. Meat was tough. Very sub-par, will not have any burgers from this restaurant ever again. Fries that came with my burger were good. Bun was soft and good and so were the toppings in the burger. That burger patty was just tough and not enjoyable to eat. Nice place, friendly people, don't get me wrong. But a burger this badly prepared shouldn't even be used. My wife got the chicken sandwich, looked a whole lot better. Get the chicken instead. Avoid the burgers until they change the burger patty used or till they learn how to cook a burger properly. I mean just look at the picture of the burger. I'm picking it up at one end of the burger and it can't even sag down a bit cuz it's so damn hard to chew. Really sad to see a restaurant that seems so nice looking inside with friendly staff to server a burger this hard, tough, not juicy, etc. read more

Delicious food! The atmosphere is awesome with the industrial setting & gorgeous lighting. I do feel their system for taking/processing orders is in need of TLC (restaurant manager for 10+ years ‍) so the sense of disorganization gives me a little anxiety at times.. (IE: put appetizer orders in BEFORE entrees, ask if kids meals would prefer to come out first, WRITE YOUR ORDERS DOWN[!!!], bring everyone's meal out at once - no reason one entree should be delivered 10+ min before another's in the same party) - but for the quantity/quality of the food alone, not too shabby! read more

Per a friends suggestion, we stopped for a late lunch and a couple of beers. We each had a burger. Skinny for me and fat for my husband. I got blue cheese, bacon and bbq with a side of onion rings. I over to add onion rings to this style of burger. He got bacon, pulled pork, queso and he added jalapeños with a side of crack fries. These are shoestring fries that have a cream cheese sauce with bourbon candied bacon-so good! If we weren't so full we would have gotten dessert. They had Illini bars among other yummy things. They also carry Blanton's bourbon. That's a plus! The bar is upstairs with a restroom and many TVs. Many levels of stairs to get up there, so if you have a hard time with stairs, stay on the main level, but you won't get to enjoy the beautiful bar. We will definitely return! read more

Subpar. First I order 2 combos with pulled pork and brisket and went to pick up only to find out they didn't have briskets for either orders which is fine but to let me order then come to pick up and let me know was a bit of a let down. The food was okay nothing too much to brag about. The interior of the building was great and spacious read more

A great addition to the downtown district in Rantoul! This restaurant is handicap accessible, family friendly, and a great spot to gather! There is something on the menu for everyone! I highly recommend the mozzarella chips with the ranch- their house ranch is next level! I had a Caesar salad with chicken- I should say here that I order Caesar salads everywhere I see them in a menu. ET's has taken the top spot on my list of favorite Caesars.... The chicken has a kick to the seasoning that makes it so good. Our server was attentive and helpful; she offered to bring us plenty of ranch for the table's fries- a must! read more

First off-This would be a five star review except for the Noise of the place. I was there recently for the first time, for a going away/birthday party. The interior is really nice. We were seated at a huge table in the new bar addition. I realize it was a Friday night and lots of people were talking and eating, but with 3+ TV's going, I think music playing and high open ceilings the noise was ear shattering. I could not hear the person speaking next to me. So, acoustics are not good-at least for me. NOW-The food was EXCELLENT. Everyone raved about their own choice and I ordered pulled pork sandwich with fries. The sandwich was served with a brioche bun and piled high with juicy, smoky pulled pork. The Sweet-Spicy sauce on the side was very good (I am a Sweet Baby Ray's fan)And the fries were super good, thin cut and crispy on the outside while not greasy. Crack sweet potato fries were passed around and made me wish I had ordered them. So good. SERVICE--I tip my hat to the server! She did an amazing job taking all of our orders and serving our party. Over all my bill was approximately $25 with tip= Sandwich with fries, one mixed drink and a diet coke. I will definitely be going back for one of their burgers and Sweet potato fries!! read more

Great food and great service. Fun craft bar type atmosphere. We've been there a few times and always had a good time.

Very happy with my meal and service this past Friday evening. The restaurant was very busy. We were seated and only waited a short time for glasses of wine and order being taken. I had the fish and chip with a side of slaw. My friend had the smothered steak sandwich with potato salad. Both were served piping hot. The potato salad was a smashed skins on type. My slaw had a different taste but was very good. We will definitely be returning soon. But go early as it was packed! read more

service: lackluster at best. The typical 21st century Sullen, surly, unsmiling, avoidance of eye contact spiced with no greeting at any point. Seat at the bar. No acknowledgment. dawdling service. Staff chatting with friends. Had to ask for menu. Food: meh.....Blue cheese burger tasty but tiny. Condiments, flatware, napkins missing Until i requested. Then back talked as if I was hasty. French fries were factory prepped and frozen. Inferior to McD. portion near. Meals end a server stood at the bar, gathered the paper napkin, menu, and straw. suddenly leaving, I said, "you can take this too" and pointed to the empty plate in front of me. Her comments were really smarmy. Then. No tip. No return visit. Thumbs down. read more
