First of all, my mom is obsessed with the cheese curds. She kept telling me about them so I finally was like, "ok, take me." Yo, she wasn't playin. Paired them with blue moon on draft. Ugh, are u kidding me. No. Then we got the fish with fries. I'm in love. The seasoning on the fish is *chef bob's kiss* fr fr. Loves it.

My brother introduced me to It'll Do since it's close to the assisted-living facility where our dad lives. They have a terrific, clean, bar. The bar food is very good and the drink prices are fair. Best of all the service is very friendly. We've been back twice and will be back again.

Good burgers and fries. The cheese curds were amazing. Good selection of beer and great service.

Delicious $3 Bloody Mary special on Sundays!

The best dive bar around! You can't beat the prices, bartenders are super nice, burgers are legit and don't forget PICKLE SHOTS!

Used Yelp search to find a restaurant as we passing thru Terre Haute(on I70) and found The…read moreTerminal Public House. Looked at several of the reviews and knew it was a place to visit. The building itself is over a 100 years old and is on the National Register of Historic Places, this helps its cool vibe. We came in at 12:30 on a December Thursday, it was absolutely packed, what appeared to be multiple team/holiday gatherings. We were told a 20 minute wait, but we eventually were able to find a seat at the bar in less time. With as busy as it was, I was concerned food coming out may be impacted, but it came out quick. Allie was our bar tender, she was very friendly and attentive, shout out to her. First I started with a local beer, wango tango. I would call it a hazy pale ale. It was perfect for me. Had grilled shishito peppers. It was my first time to ever eat one, I loved them. I enjoyed them better without the sauce, but the wasabi Mayo did provide a nice kick. I ate the fried wontons with the sauce. We shared the crab Rangoon flatbread. It did not disappoint, and had a healthy serving size. I would get it again and again! Then I went with a comfort food, fried bologna sandwich. It came with a side, but the sandwhich alone was enough. I added a close pic of the sandwich, it had two thick cut pieces of meat. Impressive. It came with melted cheese, that was a twist for me, but I wanted to try it the way it was on the menu first. I eventually added ketchup, lol. We now have a new place to stop as we're passing by on 70. If I lived closer, i definitely would be a regular!!!

Hubers is a townie bar, to be sure, but the best kind of townie bar: the staff is friendly, not surly, patient with noobs and the drinks are generous and cheap. They pour massive shots in tumbler glasses and offer big steins of domestic drafts for less than what a pint runs in Downtown Champaign. They serve food, which is stellar in its value, if not its uniqueness. Simple pub grub done well is the order of the day. They have a surprising variety of surprisingly good thin-crust personal pizzas for less than $4 and all the expected fried things. Popcorn is free and they will make more just for you. If I was serious about throwing darts, this is where I would come, as it is apparent they take it seriously at Hubers: there is an entire room dedicated solely to this and about 4 dozen trophies. There is ample parking in the rear, as well as a tiny semi-enclosed smoking area that is only a little bit less depressing than the smoking tanks at the Atlanta Airport. The decor inside is nothing special, but upon close inspection you will find echoes of the historic grocery that inhabited the structure in years past. An old-fashioned candy counter is at the front of the store and still in use. Hubers is a good place to watch sports, as while they do not have the biggest or newest TVs, they sure have a lot of them and are not shy about letting you tune in whatever suits you. The only reason I did not give this 5 stars is they do not have very many of the "fancy" microbrews or imports that just about every place in Chambana stocks these days, and any that they do carry are likely old. This is a liquor and domestic beer joint. Also, like any neighborhood/townie bar, there is an alkie or two that may pass through, and this is not the place to meet chicks, or at least not he kind of chicks that you want to brag about on the Internet.
