Also prices are fairly good. They have a pretty okay selection but it gets limited sometimes. Beers are plentiful around here but fewer are carefully crafted. It's what makes this place actually special. This is also a much more relaxing atmosphere than chugging at some campus bar so you can actually enjoy the flavor too. A few styles to choose from. It's about $6 a pint. Best one we had of these was the Umlaut Alt. This is a German style altbier which is how beers were made before the lager style. Has notes of caramel, nuts, and toast and is complex yet easy. The other beers are great but often many aren't available because they have smaller batches of these. Great place to get local beers and more mature flavors. It's closed Mondays. This is located on Griggs close to the creek, and while there's no food, there's a few places close to get to by walking.

Pour Bros is a great way to get a sample of beers from around here and worldwide. Get as little or as much as you would like to get. The price varies. Coming here a few times it's like there's always something else you can get. It's got shit tons of beers along the wall you can fill up on your own. The first thing is to get a card so you can activate taps. Every beer is at a price. It's per ounce and it adds up. Best one we got of these was the Wake Brewery selection Frost Hammer. It's $0.80 an ounce, which is one of the more expensive ones. Can bring food in here. They also have free popcorn. Have to know there's no special events before going or you will have to pay a cover. It's located on University at Market. There's not really any food but you can bring in stuff.

I think I was pregnant and demolished two sandwiches: porketta and the other escapes me. If they offered a dessert, I probably got that too and enjoyed it. I recall great service and food. Located at Lincoln Square, the nonprofit I managed had a gig for another organization. Nothing to do with the food, but communicating an appropriate place for us to set up and perform was difficult. In the current location, my friend and I ordered pizzas for lunch. We probably could've shared one and split a salad. It was generous. We asked for take home boxes and were provided a box of foil. We wrapped up our pizza slices and the lady who took our order marched over and demanded the foil back. When she saw we had pizza she said she should've given us boxes. Maybe I'll give it a try again in the future and it won't be weird.

My friend said the hot dog was very good. I had the Italian Beef. We split an order of fries. The Italian Beef was very tasty, and I would definitely recommend. The fries, however, left a lot to be desired. They were not crisp, nor hot, nor tasty. Felt like they had been sitting there for a bit before we ordered. Very salty and actually kind of tough. Four have been 4 or 5 star on the hot dog or beef, but the fries really brought it down.
