I don't know what other issues people had with service but everyone was super nice and helpful. And walked me thru the menu. Got the smoke wings with garlic parm on side. I would vote 7/10. Great flavor withoutsauce but a "little" dry. If we are being picky vs others I've tried. But again, I would 100% get them again. Garlic parm sauce was great to dip them in. The star of the meal? The smoked pastrami 20/10. . Hands down.. amazing. It's an extremely close second to Green Street bbq in Chicago. I got their regular bbq sauce (Carolina red) on the side. It's called Carolina but no vinegar. Which I'm ok with. What great sweat bbq sauce. Totally unique. Would be amazing on chicken or pulled pork. I'm now a huge fan of this place. Can't wait to try rest of menu and Brisket Mac n cheese!

I stepped to the back of the line to wait my turn. The young lady taking orders took five people's orders ahead of me. I stepped up to order and she stepped away to start helping the two people fixing the food. Now I was the last one in the line when she stepped away. Why she just did not take my order and then step away I doing not know. I stood there for a long time then gave up and left. I ran in to the owner outside and told him about it. He just blew me off and called me Buddy. The owners have been arrogant in the past for no reason. I am aways nice and respectful. This restaurant's business is good now but treating good customers like this will hurt your business in the long run. I will never eat there again.

This little gem is located in the US Cellular Coliseum in downtown Bloomington and is only open Tuesdays through Thursdays from 11 AM to 2 PM. If you attend sporting events or concerts, you've seen the restaurant in the end zone with the glass walls. Well that's the location. You need to park on the IBC side of the coliseum and enter the door on the side near section 113. I've only been twice and both times they've featured smoked: Brisket (freakin tender and most awesome) and pulled pork. They rotate another meat each day: Ribs, Tips, Chicken Quarters, Wings (one or two of these). Sometimes they have other sides like the most awesome BBQ Hash I've ever tasted. It had a mixture of all their BBQ meats diced into a hash like corned beef hash. It was very good. They have all the normal sides like: fried okra, salad bar, green beans, baked beans, mac & cheeses and many others (some rotated). They have chili and corn bread, sometimes pizza, sometimes cheese quesadillas. Add a sweet tea and I think the price is around $11 not counting tip. They get pretty packed and are normally short handed on the wait staff (I think they only have one person serving but a group cooking and refilling the trays). Just grab a table and help yourself and when the waitress makes it over she'll take care of the drink order. I plan to make this a regular stop for lunch when I'm in town.

I liked it better when you could get your own drinks. They had the drink station cordoned off And you had to wait for someone to come and get your drinks. I prefer just to get my own. There was hardly any ice in our drinks like that we're trying to conserve ice. I had to go up and get a cup of ice after we sat down. The one thing that we did not like was that they took away the ketchup bottles and you had to use little ketchup packets to get out all the ketchup for your fries and onion rings. They serve the BBQ sauce in bottles. Why not just leave the ketchup in the bottles - ridiculous. Other than that, it was good. Service was good. Ambience was OK.

I passed by the restaurant on my way to work every day, and I finally decided to order from here. I wish I had ordered from here earlier because the food was so good. I ordered the rib tips and added a side of the hash brown casserole. The serving of the rib tips was such a generous portion that it could easily have fed 2 - 3 people. The meat was so tender. The smoke flavor permeated throughout. The sauce (Rick's Sweet Sauce) was just what I needed to balance the flavor. I think I could almost eat this every day and be satisfied. The hash brown casserole was very good, but as compared to the generous portion of ribs, you get maybe a couple of bites of the casserole. I just wish I'd had more. I would definitely order from here again, and I know I would want to try so many of the other offerings on their menu.

I took a gamble and phoned an order for the Tuesday special at Bob & Ringo's: Brisket Dinner. The gal who took my order was super friendly, even though I was pushing against their closing time. I ran to a gas station, then headed over to the restaurant ( where the restroom was immaculately clean, btw). Instead of begrudging me the fact that I was there so close to closing, I think the staff threw in extra brisket! The beef was fantastic, and sweet potato fries were great. Baked beans were fine. They seem to be made with the homemade barbecue sauce which has a unique flavor. If I had to do again, I would ask them to leave that barbecue sauce off, as it broke open and spilled into the go box and I preferred the beef and sweet potato fries without its flavor. Safely home after a delicious road dinner with more than enough food left for tomorrow's dinner!

I believe it had sweet BBQ sauce in them, along with some bacon. Good fried okra as well. The staff was very friendly and kind. The restaurant is a converted old gas station.
