We have frequented this location (Lavon Hwy, Garland) since they opened their doors. I have bought thousands of cups of coffee over the years. In the past 8-10 years, I have never seen anything prepared so inconsistently as this McDonalds' coffee. You never know if you will get what you ordered. Over the years I've constantly changed my amount of cream and sugar in hopes of them getting it right. If I order 5 cream and 5 sugar, it will taste the same as when I order it with 2 cream and 2 sugar. It's a rare day when I don't have to add some kind of sweetener to it. Employees punch the buttons so fast that you don't get the right amount of sugar. Cream is usually messed up too. This location is very good about cranking up a fresh pot of decaf at night when we come thru the drive thru. The other McD's nearby will turn you away. But the employees don't bother to let all of the coffee or the majority of the coffee drip thru before pouring your cup. Any coffee drinker will tell you that the beginning of the post is NASTY, no matter how much sugar or cream you add. We never mind it when we are asked to wait at the pickup area and that they will bring it to us. You call always tell when it's poured at the beginning. And it's always undrinkable. McD's: PLEASE TELL YOUR EMPLOYEES TO WAIT UNTIL THE POT IS ALMOST FINISHED DRIPPING. ITS REALLY IRRITATING TO GET HOME AND TASTE THAT NASTINESS! read more

The food was hot, the ladies were so sweet and made sure my order was correct and I had everything I needed before I left. My food was ready in a timely manner too. Good experience:) read more

Good as expected. Service less than par Food order was wrong, I would say that "happens" but it happens here often. How can you screw up coffee? read more

This McDonald's is in a gas station. The food tastes a bit off from other McDonald's. The fries here are the worst, after I eat them every time I get stomach aches. The fries tastes like they reuse old oil, they're stale sometimes, and no salt either. The McChicken also tastes similar to the fries just a bit better bc it's seasoned with black pepper. I've been here 3 times and there's still no improvement. I'll make the extra drive to another McDonald's bc I won't be coming back here. read more

Inside staff are amazing and try to keep the restaurant clean, however drive thru staff have a lot of attitude. Frequently get orders wrong and act very inconvenienced when asked to correct. read more

Kid in window is extremely rude! Dropped my change on the ground n says nothing, while I open door trying to get. Then shorts me a whole dollar bill n has attitude when I ask for my correct change. Not one word. Not hello not sorry about that. Nothing but rudeness. Please train on politeness and math read more

I have drive through ordered and picked up order at window at 11:55 PM, Sat, 05-10-25. The guy at window was too bad manners, not respected customer. read more

FINALLY making this post after holding off for 3-ish years or so now. I've been pushed to my limit with poor service at this location. Between receiving the wrong food MULTIPLE on occasions, have the food be COLD on multiple occasions, and interacting with slow / rude staff, I'm done with this location. TO ANYONE READING THIS: it's worth it to drive the extra 5 min to your second closest McDonald's. Avoid this place. read more

This location used to be pretty good, grew up with this mcdonalds but over the last couple months this place has just fallen through the floor in quality, orders messed up 4 visits IN A ROW, waiting at the window to pay for over 5 minutes each time only to not even have my order correct, employees arguing when they finally do show up to the window, my food not even being warm when i finally do get it. Its just getting out of hand, i get people make mistakes but messing up my order CONSISTENTLY is just a waste of my time and money. read more

I'm giving this McDonald's a 5 star review because the employees there were working their a$$e$ off. The kiosks were not user friendly and no receipt printed to confirm my order. I had to ask someone to help me even though they were clearly slammed helping the drive-thru. I looked up how much the CEO of McDonald's made last year and he made over $10 million in compensatory funds. Don't tell me you can't hire more employees or pay them a higher wage when the CEO is making $10mil above his regular salary of $5mil. Get this location some help pronto! read more

I wouldn't even give them a 1. Especially if the short Hispanic lady is still "helping" people in the drive thru. She purposely ignored me and took over 4 other peoples orders so I went to the window cause I thought "maybe" the speaker wasn't working and she told me it was my fault and that I had to go back around after just waiting in line for 20 min with 3 kids to feed. She then slammed the window in my face and locked it and didn't come back to the window till I left. Talk about customer service..... read more

Asked for a chicken nugget happy meal but instead was given a steak chunk sad snack very disappointed

8/12/2022 9:09 AM, they gave wrong and I came to know once I reached to my destination. Then I have to drive back and to get correct order and never apologize to me. Worst customer service ever. Request to Sr. management, please have proper training proess in place. read more

Never thought I would take the time to review a McDonald's but this one is terrible! I have ordered 3 times sorry 4 where they messed up I wrote them off and my wife accidentally went tonight and same thing. I asked which one and should have known. Please never go here unless you are actually starving and if you have money and not a free McDonald's something just walk across the steeet to Wendy's or Taco Bell. Even if you don't like them it's better at this point read more

Priya has her hair loose, her sleeves were all over my fries and her hand was inside the bag and handed over to me like that so unsanitary, very unprofessional and gross!! There was another person who was short, beautiful and very respectful and she was able to assist with my order and make me a new one. read more

I would leave a 0 star if I could. I go to this location three or four times a week and the quality and service has been progressively getting worse. Constantly having to go back and have something fixed. Food is not always fresh nor fast. Employees working the drive through should be able to speak at least some English. This morning I ordered my usual sausage egg McMuffin meal. Guy at the window verifying orders spoke minimal English and was quiet. I am deaf in my left ear and with his unintelligible English he got it wrong. Usually they sweet my unsweet tea (sugar intolerant) or I can usually be o back and have them fix my order. I didn't have time this morning so I'm stuck having paid for my normal EGG McMuffin with sausage but gotten a COLD muffin with only sausage. I paid for my egg....I should have my egg. I have tried several times over the past year to call and let them know but they don't answer the phone and no option for voice mail. I know it's just fast food but I go a lot and pay for it so I'd like someone to get back w me about fixing this. read more

McDonald's - Was supposed to be a sausage egg McMuffin but clearly it isn't and what I got was COLD! - Fast Food Near Me - Garland, Texas

Horrible. I guess you have to drive all the way to North Dallas if you want your breakfast right. Instead of yelling at customers WHAT SIZE ma'am LISTEN and make sure you have their cream and sugar in the bag. ALSO count your days for only giving one slice of bacon when a customer asks to add bacon on their breakfast sandwich BETTER STORES ARE PROVIDING TWO WHOLE PIECES BROKEN IN HALF WHICH EQUALS FOUR. It's pretty sad when McDonalds is trash. The only star you got is because the lady that handed me the food was smiling and very friendly. Oh and check on your drive through workers in the bike (back) they're obviously COLD and MISERABLE. I'm back now that I am looking at my sandwich I SAID ADD BACON receipt says it also SO WHY IS THERE NO HAM. You are trash LAVON DRIVE MCDONALDS. read more

The lady who clean is super nice and I came in today morning on march 4 in the morning and she is really nice to people and cleans super good.I will only put a 5 stars because the lady was super nice. To the guy that said to do the survey give me a sandwich instead... lol read more

I waited 15 minutes in line to order. The car in front of us was just parked there at the second window and I could see that the customer and the worker weren't ordering food. They were laughing and talking and making hand motions. She finally drove off with a small bag of food. I finally drove up to the window and asked Ms. AMANDA if she had a big order and she couldn't even look at me in the eye to lie. Of course she was lying because she didn't even go to the third window for food. I think the customer look like she was wearing a McD hat. I feel like the staff here are unprofessional and really shouldn't be in customer service. I know it's a McDonalds and all but at least have pride in your job. She even looked like a manager with the specific uniform she had on. read more

Worst customer service highly advise you not to come to this Taco Bell. I specifically asked for no meat on my food (swapped it for beef) yet they still put beef and when I asked for it to be changed the manager came with an attitude. They also forgot to my drink.I ordered a large and they gave me the regular. In summery: they give the orders wrong, bad service, DO NOT GO IF YOU HAVE ANY EATING RESTRICTIONS they will not cooperate. read more

Horrible customer service I went in and ordered 2 Sriracha Artisan Grilled sandwiches, one for me and my brother. I get home and open my sandwich while my brother already ate half of his. I open my sandwich and discovered there was bacon. There isn't supposed to be bacon on this sandwich. They goofed. I DRIVE back to mcdonalds and show them the sandwich. They offer remake mine since I didn't eat mine at all but didn't remake my brothers. WE DON'T EAT BACON. So we throw his half eaten sandwich away right in front of them. They remake mine yet didn't even offer anything for making me drive up there for their screw up. Basicslly check your food before you leave the place. They're idiots. read more

McDonald's is McDonald's- yummy childhood fast food as always!! What I got here two days ago was chicken nuggets and fries- both were freshly made. The place was also fairly clean- no complaints! read more

On march 10 around 12 pm I came through the drive true and spend 40 dollars, this little Hispanic girl park me right away I got to the window(which is fine) I waited 15 min for my food and the Hindu guy bring my order wrong 2 sandwiches for my son and i was missing a sprite .. I came inside and the same girl ask what do I want I explain to her I only wanted ketchup and beef that's it and she took the back off my hands and put something on the screen she told me she wasn't gonna deal whit this lady in Spanish even using swear words saying pinche vieja and I heard her .. the store manager came and watched and heard everything and didn't say anything.. when I got the order they make the same mistake again and the girl didn't wanna give me my sprite and put ice on the other 3 drinks which I specifically said I didn't want ice .. I told her we are customers and I payed for my order I wasn't here to get free food .. I told I didn't want the same sandwiches because she already opened them whit no gloves .. TOTALLY RUDE MCDONALS HAS TO MAKE SURE TO TRAIN THIS PEOPLE DEALING WHIT CUSTOMERS THEY GET NEW HIRES AND JUST TROW THEM TO THE LINE read more

I'm not saying that this is the worst McDonald's I've ever been to, but once I saw a giant rat running FROM this restaurant. Maybe it was just passing through, but who knows. Even so, there are some pretty sweet murals inside the playground area. Have you seen Ronald McDonald dressed as a princess riding horseback with feathered hair at any of your other lame McDonald's? Not likely. read more

Asked for an iced caramel macchiato and they had put whipped cream on top. I told them that iced coffee does not come with whipped cream (unless you ask for it of course) and I kindly asked for a new one and they were SO rude about it!! They said that's how coffee is served and I told them I have NEVER been given iced coffee with whipped cream on top at mcds. I didn't order a frappe. I don't like whipped cream which is why I asked for a new one, if not I would've let it go. read more

Horrible and rude! I told them I had a coupon and I went inside and showed my receipt and the kid said " we can't do anything about it they will charge us of I open the register" which is complete BS. Other mcdonald's would just refund you and not argue with customer. Bc this has happened before and it didn't scan and I didn't see it until I saw my rept. SO I know for a fact the "register dosent charge you" of course they spoke Spanish so I wouldn't understand then. So rude I will NEVER COME BACK HERE. read more

They have just been remodel and the drive through is so much quicker than in the past. I have not been inside yet.

I ate after cheering for a football game and they gave us our food in less then 3 minutes. NOT EVEN LYING! By far the worst Mcdonalds! I had a manager yell at me and tell me to leave the store because I asked her what her name was. So ridiculous and their staff is highly disrespectful to the needs of their customers. This wasn't the first incident I've experienced at this location in the 2yrs I lived in the area. I have children and since this incident last month we've been driving out of our way to a Sache location and I haven't been disappointed with the friendly staff there yet. read more

I don't like to go here because the employees don't give good service and also they never come up to the pick up window.

If you're trying to get something to eat between about 1am-5am have a backup. I don't know what they're doing during this time but about half the times I've tried to stop here during this time they tell me "sorry, we aren't taking orders at this time". read more

Scary, scary place!! Literally saw 2 drug deals while we were here and then there were 5/6 guys out front ( all in different cars) blocking most of the gas pumps "doing dent repair). They were smearing mud on people's dents and drilling holes in the hood of their car underneath and sticking a crowbar in it and beating the dents out. Then they will tell them to leave the mud over the dent for a couple days to let the polish cure. When in reality it was just covering the dent that was now worse than it was when the people got there. This place is SHADY and I couldn't get out of there fast enough. I will never go near this place again for gas or food!!!! read more

I'd give zero stars if I could. Went through the drive thru, purchased $30 worth of food and I ordered a Big Mac. I asked for extra Big Mac sauce and they wanted to charge me $.50 for it. Are you kidding me!! First McDonald's I've been to and they want to charge for extra sauce. Even the employee working the drive thru was dumbfounded. He said "I've never heard of that". Won't be going back. read more

Awful LONG wait times in the drive thru. 90% of the time, my order is incorrect.
