We pull up to the window and we were given one of our orders. Then the staff was super confused why we were still at the window. We told them we have more orders. This location is, by far, the worst Chick-fil-A I've ever been to. Not just once, but consistently. It's very small, the army of employees seem particularly young and untrained, the trainees are clueless and slow, and the store is not clean like other franchises. Last night was the last straw, and I'll never return to this location. First off, a trainee was taking our order and forgot to sub mac and cheese for fries in the kids' meal. No big deal. But when he brought out the order, he was paralyzed, not knowing how to fix it. Finally, he asked us to remove the fries from the bag, which he handed to another employee, who threw them away. Finally, we were given the mac and cheese. Then, while finishing my meal with my aunt, an enormous cockroach (like waterbug size) comes running on the floor toward us in our booth. Disgusting! A young employee was standing at a table opposite ours talking to friends. Without trying to make a scene, we tried to get his attention and point to the roach. He just looked at us and giggled. At this point, a few other young employees had gathered around, giggling and pointing. Finally, an employee grabbed a broom and swept up the roach, but only after we explicitly asked them to pick it up. Nobody apologized or said anything about it to us, probably because there was not an adult in sight! The employees ended up making more of a scene than we did, which was very awkward and unprofessional. We had lost our appetites at that point, but at the end, I did go up to trade a toy for an ice cream cone, just to be told, "Oh we're out of ice cream." Okay, is this a McDonald's or what?! I'm a frequent Chick-f-la consumer at multiple locations. Today when I visited there was no one staffing the drive thru. They were using the remote intercom and it definitely slowed down the process. I was there for 12 minutes by the time I got my food which admittedly isn't a huge amount of time sitting in a car, but the lack of live help in the drive through will probably keep me from coming back to this location if it happens again here. read more

Three times I've ordered through the app in advance for pickup, then tapped "I'm here" in the app when I arrived, and yet when I pull up to the window to get my food, they make me wait in the parking lot for 5-10min while people who ordered after me (via the drive-thru speaker) get their food. I'd say that they're the ding-dongs but, listen--I'm the one waiting in the lines! Photos are of the line to get in the actual line. EDIT: The line took way less time than it seemed like it would. And they got the order right so, review edited! Gave it four stars, but would give it 3.5 if that was allowed. Not based on service, solely based on its location. Food is good but they can't do orders to go properly. Check your orders in the parking lot. My orders always have over stuffed bags so its difficult to go through them while in the parking lot to check for things missing. What a delightful experience I've had once again at this Chick-fil-A in Garland. I just moved to the area and came here for breakfast for the first time last week and met the nicest, most pleasant lady named Deb working at the counter. She as the all of their employees I met actually make you feel very welcome to be there. Unlike when you go the the majority of other fast food places they make you feel like you are bothering them and would rather be doing anything but working there. Both times I've been here for breakfast there were several "regulars" that were greeted by Deb and the other associates as they walk in the door. Of course the food is always good, but it is the employees that keep me coming back. I just don't understand how Chick-fil-A can create a business built on great employees, but very few of the other fast food restaurants can do the same. Maybe they can take some of their billions of dollar in their marketing budget to put a winning employee program together. Okay, now i LOVE chick-fil-a but today was a little disappointing. When i opened my chicken sandwich bag, i found a short black hair on the inside of the bag where the foil is. And before you say it was my own hair, it was on the INSIDE and i saw it immediately after opening. Also, while enjoying my chicken sandwich, the chicken was rather stringy and got stuck in my teeth.
