Heading back to CO, stopped in Gallup to grab a bite. The restaurant is very clean. Celeste offered friendly service taking my order and helping me carry my large order to the table. The food was freshly made and the coffee was very good. read more

McDonald's - Bag - Fast Food Near Me - Gallup, New Mexico

This store is trying to enact self service order kiosks for efficiency, but it's not working. Many people were confused on how to order. I asked if they had decaf Carmel macchiato and the woman attempting to help me could not determine if they did and she finally had to ask and was told no. Workers were putting on yellow vests and walking between the customers and the doorway to the outside to deliver orders to cars. They were going back-and-forth and it was confusing. When you ordered at the kiosk, you were supposed to take a number which was not indicated anywhere so my husband missed his coffee order. When we finally asked where the coffee was, they had to place another order and we had to wait again. Don't go here. The staff is basically ignoring most of the customers because they were so busy with taking orders out to cars don't go here. read more

I remember McDonald's places back in the day and also in Europe that were nice and well maintained and had those large indoor playgrounds, well this one is just like it!! Great experience. Friendly awesome staff! read more

We were on the road in Gallup and decided to stop for some coffee. I got the Iced Caramel Frappe, (Small) and it tasted awesome! The McDonald's had a very simple playground which my baby sister loved. The atmosphere is very nice and calm for sitting and eating and drinking. The service was great. The staff gave us our coffee very fast and quick. HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR COFFEE! read more

Closing at 5pm is idiotic. Fix your hours. You lose customers and cause a lot more issues than necessary.

Horrible service, employees where very rude, let homeless people in and do what they want, including letting them go in the kids play section, but if you go through the drive through the food is the same as any other McDonalds. The atmosphere was very unwelcoming and uncomfortable. read more

Worst burger I have ever had. Pulled up to the drive up. Ordered, paid at window. Mover to the pickup window. I was told to wait for my order at Space #3. Waited 10 minutes while 3 homeless people went from car to car begging for money. Finally got my order. It was barely warm. Tough and tasteless. I won't go back. read more

I waited for 7 minutes to tell someone what I wanted because the cashier was having trouble. I do not know if her station stopped working or if she was a new employee but the fact that she did not apologize to the customer she was serving or to the other two people like me who were waiting is unacceptable. When she finally finished with the guy and took my order, it was only 2 minutes to pay and get my coffee, which was lukewarm. I have never had such a terrible experience at a McDonald's. If you can, avoid this location. read more

Our food was good except we had to wait for Our chicken strips. I mean I don't wanna wait for my fricking food cause I'm hungry! I get angry pretty easy so having to wait to eat makes me piss. Also this McDonald smells like literally poop. I mean it looks clean but when you come inside I just wanna vomit. It smells come on Gallup clean this McDonalds. However I am pretty satisfied.... JKKKKK..... never coming back read more

Bathroom? Check! Coffee? Check! 3 cookies for a buck? Check! Back on the road in a hurry? Check! It seems I mostly visit McDonalds on road trips... read more

Best McDonald's I've ever been to. Employees and management are amazing. They were very helpful when I sent my order to the wrong location.

McDonald's has went down in the past couple years. The service here is not great and it is extremely slow. I gave one star because that's the lowest you can go. read more

WORST DRIVE THUR EVER.... the absolute WORST. If you are going to make 2 lanes make sure BOTH are getting orders taken and moving. Your make shift second lane moved over 20 cars before getting 3 orders from the ACTUAL DRIVE THUR LANE. THEN you have me park and WAIT EVEN MORE after paying because you have taken so many orders from the other lane that my food (1 burger and fries FYI) wasn't ready. Kudos for making me write a review though... I never do. What a fun new experience. Staff seemed friendly 1 star read more

Employees won't even acknowledge you when you are standing there. No thank you or your welcome. Hamburger tasted like it had been sitting under the heat lamp for hours. No sauces given. Horrible customer service. read more

If I could do negative stars I would!! I am generally not a complainer.... I ordered on their new "mobile app".... you, know.... because it's so easy and convenient!!! WHAT A JOKE!!!! Had to still go thru the drive through... ok, I can deal with that... even though it was SLOW. Then they give me my total... "but I paid on the app", I was informed it didn't tell them that. I said that it had my card number and everything, To which the RUDE women at the window who didn't even make eye contact said it doesn't show paid. Ok... moving on. Then to the next window.... where they tell me to please pull forward by the door because they are waiting on fries!!! All in all my last visit here!! Not even an apology or anything!! read more

Stopped after getting into town around 10pm. Walked and noticed they serve a "Green Chile Double", i was excited. Originally from Gallup, I love my NM green chile. We were greeted by Misha. She was very friendly and efficient. We had special orders and all of them were correct when we received our food. The interior was clean. As we I ate, I observed the employees and manager- they were all friendly and smiling, working hard. Not sure why there so many bad reviews, maybe I came at the right time but I will return. Great service and good food. read more

NOT 24 hours. Stayed at Hampton inn. Chose not to get something at Walmart for breakfast bc we had McDonald's to depend on. Disappointed.

Eating at this McDonald's made for a slightly interesting experience. This location features the newer McDonald's design and looks quite nice from the outside. My problems with this visit extend mostly to the typical McDonald's issues I encounter. Unhealthy menu aside, I found the service here to be moderately slow and the food to be very average. Also, McDonald's posted a security guard in this location, something I found to be relatively strange. If you are on a road trip, I really cannot discourage you from eating at this location, especially considered the neighboring choices, but do not expect much. read more

Very slow. The mobile app is useless. Very long lines for the drive through and employees are very rude.

It's McDonald's, so there's nothing to get excited about. But the place was clean and the service was good. And the fresh beef they now use made the burgers less dry. read more

Awful. Multiple times. Go elsewhere. We are presently going through Gallup and going out of our way to eat at another fast food restaurant. +1 to the other reviewer who proposed a negative stars rating option for this one - it is deserved. read more

Nice clean modern Mcdonalds. No key or code need to use the restroom. Coffee is served piping hot. However, you do have some loitering from locals who aren't shy to ask for some change. read more

Went to drive thru on a road trip. 4 kids Happy Meals all had apples that expired yesterday. No straws for the 4 drinks that needed them, and dipping sauces left out as well. Very disappointed. read more

I went in to buy a carmel sunday. They "didnt have CAEMEL but could add it". So $1.29 for an already TINY plain sunday, and they charged me $0.40 to add "carmel topping". WTH. SONIC from now on! read more

service was fine. I came in around 9pm on a Wed so no line to wait in. I actually am glad there's security here there. Yes security was there on a most recent visit. He was very smiley, kind and courteous. But you know you give him heck he'll probably beat you with that club stick of his. LoL! read more

I'd say one of the cleanest McD's I've been to. All tables were clean and there were many people eating here- even the play area was immaculately clean- kudos to management and workers here. Food was also very good- fries - yup- they were spot on - also Filtered water and soda- rare and it totally makes a difference. Stop here on you travels to take a break! read more

Today's was a bad experience with this McDonald's location, north of Gallup. It wasn't busy during our time of walk-in order. The only reason I even went there was for the Minion prize for my grandson's 'UN'Happy Meal..there was NO PRIZE!! Then what did I pay for, why did I even go in there? Because I trusted them! I called to the restaurant and was ONLY told, "I'm sorry" What, no compensation whatever! read more
