Literally what can i say about a mcdonald's that people haven't heard before, it's mcdonald's. This location is usually pretty packed the entire night as it's relatively close to downtown and has cheap food (again, it's mcdonald's). Drive thru service is standard speed compared to others i've been to and you know what to expect. It can get a little sketchy at night. Food is McDonalds, but tastes like Shula Burger especially when u have a good buz and you haven't eaten all day. Fries are always amazing. Only bad thing about late night food is you have to order on the App. The service was good but it took over 45 min to get my order and it was spot on. My review is mostly about the new Spicy Crispy Chicken Sandwich, which I've attached pictures of with this review. The photos of course always tend to portray the sandwich as being larger than it actually is. I was a bit disappointed when I saw the sandwich since it was far smaller and probably comparable or slightly bigger than their $1 McChicken. In terms of taste, the quality is certainly feels more "premium" than their $1 McChicken sandwich. In comparing it to its competitors in the fast food "chicken sandwich war", I'd easily put Popeyes at #1 for having the best chicken sandwich with Chick-Fil-A being number 2. I would definitely say this chicken sandwich is better than Zaxby's chicken sandwich, and might put it in the 3rd or 4th position in terms of flavor. In terms of value received per dollar spent, I'm not sure if I would purchase this again at the $4 price point or $7 for a combo. It had a decent flavor, but it didn't feel like the best value. As far as this restaurant and the overall ordering experience, I'd say 3/5 stars would be appropriate. Although I placed a mobile order, it took an additional 10 minutes roughly to receive the food which was fairly slow. The customer service wasn't bad, but the ordering experience was a bit slow. I also rate this 3/5 stars because it was an okay overall experience. This is a disaster of a McDonald's. One doesn't expect a fast food joint to be top tier but one does expect food. We went and were told to only use the screens by the side to order. It was 9AM and we wanted one of the breakfast deals. It said error. We tried regular meal order. Error. We then went to the cashier, another gentleman was already there with the same issue. Unable to order. The cashier took his order. We went next and the cashier left. A manager came and said to order on the screen. We told her the screen wasn't working when ordering and she said there was no breakfast left. I told her we tried the nugget meal and it said error. She said to wait and left. We stood there for almost 10 minutes. They only cared about drive through. We just left. When we went outside there was only 3 cars in line? I don't know what the issue was. Am I the only one that actually likes this McDonald's? I've never had a major issue here, except for the wait time. The wait can get long here, which I think is a combination of popularity and slower food preparation. However, this is perhaps one of the cleanest, most high-tech McDonald's I've ever been to. The inside is sleek and modern. There is a lot of natural light from their big windows. I actually really enjoy studying here since it is open 24/7, very spacious, well lit, and extremely clean. The touch screen ordering system is fantastic and there are enough touch screens available so that there isn't a constant line to order food. I have yet to be able to find the dollar menu option on the screen - I'm not sure if this McDonald's have discontinued it or if I haven't looked hard enough. If you choose to dine-in, the cashier will give you a number to put at your table and bring the food to you once it's ready; I haven't seen any other McDonald's do this in my limited fast food experiences. The food is average. However, their fries always seem super fresh even though they take really long to make. Be wary that they can run out of items late in the night. I came in to study around midnight and ordered a coffee and found that much of their mcCafe items are not made so late. However, the employees were really understanding and accommodating when offering other options for me to choose from. read more

In drive-thru, staff comes over the PA, yelling, "Boy, you better get back here!" I turned to my husband and we both chuckled. This exclamation from the drive-thru PA wasn't totally surprising. What is fun is knowing something ridiculous is going to happen and but not knowing the exact details. This is how we've come to see this McDs: it's a circus. Anyway, there was a lot of yelling and laughing in the background. At least someone was having a good time. This was our exchange after the boy you better get back here. Here's a comedy tip: if you have a running gag in one show, do it three times. Not once, not twice, not four times, but three, sir (extra points if you know where I got that from). This bit should never have happened but since I knew I was going to the circus I was ready for it. Except when she carried on past the rule of three. Then it was just sad. But we got our cones and they were actually gorgeous. The person who made them did a beautiful job. I worked at Dairy Queen for a time in college so I know how to cone up some soft-serv. DQ has a way of doing it that makes it super easy on the staff. McDs makes 'me work. I think I will just keep updating this review because it's hot and we like low calorie sweet treat after work. The other day, I was in the drive thru. There was another car in the next lane as well. The girl came across the loudspeaker and asked me if she could help me. I proceeded to wait.... and wait..... and wait and while I was waiting, I'm watching and listening to orders being placed on the other lane and 3 cars happily getting in line to pick up their meals. What?! So I ask... "hello?" And just then I get this ugly voice come over the loudspeaker in a very firm tone that says, "Ma'am, I asked you to wait a moment!!" What?! Oh no. No. No. No. Excuse me?! I checked my rear view mirror and since no cars were behind me I began planning my exit. Her voice barks over the loudspeaker again, "Hellooooop, my I take your order?!" Uh... I'm thinking in my head, I ALREADY GAVE YOU MY ORDER, but instead I said, "uh no thanks. I'm not ordering." I put my car in reverse and managed to drive my car backwards out of that drive-thru. I realize my #7 on the breakfast menu is just a drop in the bucket BUT, little by little,this McDonalds is going to be known for their crappy Customer Service. I did an Uber eats pickup there today. Walked in and there was one lady waiting at the counter and 3 people eating. Every employee (at least 5) we're paying attention to everything but the lady at the counter and I. After about 5 min a lady yells "you Ubah"? I was like, yeah. Then while trying to order on the menu the screen kept not working - a very sweet employee tried to help as well. The building is less than a year old so it's pretty new and clean on the inside. On this visit, the employees were very unprofessional and did not display good customer service. In fact, one employee said "she can't work for McDonalds her entire life" while I was waiting at the window. I mean I understand your desire to grow, but you shouldn't have said that about your job that you are currently working at in front of your customers. I only order chicken nuggets from McDonald's and it frustrates me that THEY FORGET MY SAUCE EVERY TIME. Why ask what type of sauce I would like if you aren't going to give it to me?
