They have horrible service, thay were handing me my change and he dropped half of the charge and did not bother to replace it.

Tried one more time. Went through drive thru at 1pm on a Saturday. Ordered Diet Dr Pepper, "we're out". Ok, diet coke, "we're out". Ok, never mind. 4 apple pies, "we only have 2". Ok, we'll take those, "you want all of them?". Then at the window, could we have drink carrier? Can you guess the response? "We're out". So terrible customer service, at least they could say sorry or at least offer something else, not a deadpan, I could care less response. Our issues however were not the fault of the servers. Those were all on the management. How can you be out of the 2 options for diet soda not even a quarter way through the weekend. read more

If you want the incorrect order or food missing from your bag, this is the place to go! It's been this way since they opened a couple of years ago and they haven't improved what so ever. We no longer leave the drive thru window without checking our bag. They need to either get better training or get management that actually cares about customer service. read more

This is the worst McDonalds I have ever been to in the country. Super slow, terrible customer service, managers not interested in improving, it's just sad. We drive to the location at I-35 and Swisher to avoid having to go to this location. It's very sad to see that in two years it has only gotten worse not better. read more

Despite what many believe, this fine establishment is quite charming. You walk in and right away your eyes are glued to the fancy chairs and the colorful tables. I tell you what, I haven't seen a McDonalds this aesthetically pleasing since I saw the two story McDonalds in some down town area of some state that I was passing through one time on a road trip to somewhere I don't remember to do something fun probably. Which is definitely saying something. I do my order, which is usually pretty simple and then sit down at one of the marvelous tables. It's quaint. And then I hear them discussing labor costs and whatnot for keeping certain employees and it puts me in an even better mood because I love talking about labor costs in fast food restaurants. I eavesdrop until my food comes out. Everything is a saucy 100 degrees Fahrenheit or so(just a guess), which is ideal for me I think. Maybe. Anyway, it's good. To be fair I think their food was only hot because they didn't have anything prepped because this is like, the least busy McDonalds I have ever been to in any of my 19 years being alive. Also that's probably why it took an extra 3 minutes and 52 seconds. But I wasn't concerned about time because it was 2 am. They are open 24 hours. That's absolutely absurd. That means I can come in any day from Monday to Sunday and eat. Whenever I want. Also if I remember correctly the air conditioning is best in the back left corner with the little kid computer game things. Bathrooms have a comforting wall coloring to them I think. 10/10. Just kidding 8/10 or 4/5 because I don't like the breakfast menu. read more

There's a reason this McDonalds has such poor reviews. Every time I come here they ALWAYS wIthout fail forget one of my items. I have a larger family so I understand them askIng me to pull up to the curb to wait for my order. But what I DONTT understand is if you're going to be spending TWENTY MINUTES making my order and then conveniently forget something so I have to go out of my way to park and then go inside to retrieve it. Not only this, but most recently I ordered two cheeseburgers and small fries just for myself. They asked me to pull up to the curb and I proceeded to wait ten minutes.... FOR TWO CHEESEBURGERS AND A SMALL FRY!!! What sort of McDonald's doesn't have these ready and made??? I did not request anything special about them at all! No apologies for having to wait or for forgetting my food. But does management care? Absolutely not and they never will. McDonalds is not going to go away any time soon, so who gives a crap, am I right? Pathetic. read more

This McDonald's is terrible to say the least. Our first time there we chose to use the drive through. After waiting 20 minutes with two other cars ahead of us we got our food. When I asked for some ketchup the cashier replied with a loud "HUH?" Three times. Maybe if he took his headphones off he could hear me better. Anyway, we got home and our order was wrong. The buns tasted like salty sponges and the fries were old. Not to mention, they gave me about a medium size order worth of fries when I paid for a large. Seriously, joined Yelp just to post a comment about this place. I was super excited when they built a McD's as there really isn't another fast food option for late night food runs. Turns out, there still isn't a viable option. I waited 15 minutes at the pick-up window before somebody even looked at me, offered a weak excuse (notice I said 'excuse' and not 'apology'), and handed me my cold food. Didn't even offer to make it fresh or get a manager. That's probably because the manager and two other employees were outside busy not helping the only customer in the place. I actually saw them leave the restaurant while I was waiting. While this is a more extreme example of how slow/unmotivated the employees are at this location, it is certainly not an isolated case. Orders are consistently wrong, the people taking payment can't seem to keep track of customers, and the whole place is just slow. The only reason I've been back is because the place is relatively new and I had been chalking the problems up to new management and employees, and I figured things would work themselves out with time. I was sadly mistaken. I will not be returning to this location EVER. read more

Honestly the worst McDonald's I have ever been to. Food is never ready when you get to window order is almost always wrong and when I went back thru to let them know they had given me sweet tea instead of unsweet they put some sort of cleaner (at least that's what our dr decided) in my drink which I did have a sip of and was sick for two weeks. Worst experience ever!!! My daughter and I arrived at drive thru on 7/3/19 at 1:02pm. Ordered without difficulty but when we went to pay, she didn't know our order and said all her orders were mixed up. When we next drove to pay, they didn't even have our order anywhere on their screen. We were asked to pull forward and wait. After about 9 minutes of waiting, my daughter went in with our receipt. They had no knowledge of our order, and had to start making it then. She left receipt so they could see the 5 things we ordered. After waiting in our car another 7 minutes, I went in to be greeted at the door with a confused looking man holding our bag. 2 of the 4 items in the bag were incorrect and they forgot our drink. We went back in to finally receive the correct items. We left the store at 1:30 -that's 28 minutes for a correct drive thru order with 5 items. It will be a long time before I return to this location, and I live across the street. read more

This is by far the worst McDonald's we have ever been to. Not just here in Denton, not just in Texas. All of them. The only thing consistent about this place is the fact that EVERY SINGLE TIME we go there, the workers get at least one thing wrong on the order and usually it's more than one thing. Twice now they have put a burger patty on my chicken sandwich, the second time being tonight. And literally just now as I was typing this, my son came in with his tea (we are eating at home) which was supposed to be sweet tea, they tumped a bunch of sugar in the bottom of the cup, put unsweet tea on top of it, and put the lid on. I checked my tea and it was the same way. My husband is currently back up there trying to get my food right. I am so pissed off. It's a fast food place, it's kind of hard to screw up such simple menu items. They need to fire every single person in the place as far as I am concerned. Not going back after this. read more

I was excited when this was built in my neighborhood. Unfortunately this is the worst McDonald's in Texas. This place should be shut down by corporate or sold to someone who cares. I tell everyone about how horrible it is...and they don't think it can be as bad as I say until they visit it. Without fail there is a problem every single time. I witnessed a manager argue with a customer about how long it should take to make an item and he mentioned he used to be a manager at a McDonald's in Granbury. I had filet of fish given without tartar sauce...hamburgers missing patties..the list goes on. I was stupid for giving it another chance. On the up side I can make something more healthy at the Kroger across the street at half the cost. Avoid this place ... it is an embarassment from day one. read more

This is the slowest and rudest and dumbest McDonald's I have ever seen. Today I ordered 3 hash browns, a side of bacon, a biscuit with jelly, a water and a coke. When the food came and I drove away, the order was AGAIN wrong. In which case I had to get out of my car to go into the restaurant to go fix it. The biscuit was missing and the bacon had eggs on it. It was 25 degrees outside and my 2 children waited in the car. When I went in to get new bacon and our missing biscuit, the lady said "Where's your plate or receipt?" I said I was just in the drive through, ask those people by the window. She refused to help me so I left (because I needed to get my daughter to school and I needed to go to work). I again lost money and time at this McDonald's. Why do I ever return??? This is about the 100th time this scenario has played out for our family. I HATE this place and the workers who have no brains. read more

This is one of the worst McDonalds in Denton. Just took 9 minutes to get a shake in the drive thru and there was one car in front of me. Last Saturday took 18 minutes to get a sausage biscuit and drink in drive thru. Today, got no receipt and them one who took my payment was a crew trainer. Go figure. They have been out of drink syrup before. Ma magers may apologize, but they blame equipment and necer have the problem fully and permanently fixed. I cannot be the only one who has experienced this at this location. Franchisee needs to fix this. read more

Well...where do I even begin??? I've traveled a lot in my life and been in hundreds of McDonalds all across the U.S...some great, so not so great, but I can honestly say, that this McDonalds which is located not more than 1/2 mile from my home is the WORSE ever! Slow service, cold food, old food, on a repeated- very consistent basis. As one reviewer stated she couldn't get a shake on more than one occasion, this happened to me countless times over the summer where they told me that either they were out of cones, or the equipment was down...and don't ever think you will EVER and I mean EVER will get a cheeseburger without cold cheese- it won't happen...resolve yourself to heating it up in the microwave to melt the cheese. You will ALWAYS have to wait in the drive thru line no matter what time of day or night, even when there are no customers inside or in the drive thru. Truly awful!
