Wow! Where to begin? This review is more for the afternoon crew. The morning crew is great and does a really good job. The problem is in the afternoon when the kids start to come to work. The young woman working the register in the drive thru did a good job. She was polite and courteous and efficient. The problem began with the second window when I went to pick up my food. The young man at this window had his back to the window when I pulled up and never greeted me. He stood there with his back to the window leaning on the sill as he talked and laughed with the other kids he was working with. When he did turn around he did not have a name tag. He never said hello but handed me my drink and said "pull forward, we are making your tenders. It will be 4 minutes". No please or thank you but shut the window and turned around. I drove to the next window and not 4 but almost 15 minutes later a girl came to the window and handed me a bag. No "sorry for the wait" or "thank you for waiting" just "here's your food". When I got home, less than a mile from the store, the chicken tenders I had to wait for them to make were cold and soggy like they had been in a microwave and the 4 pack that I ordered and PAID FOR only had 2 chicken strips in it. I find experiences like this to be par for the course for all Holowicki owned McDonald's with the exception of the stores on US 23 north of Delaware and the new location on 36/37/Sunbury Road at Glenwood commons. Both of these two stores do a really good job, probably because they don't have all the kids working there. Honestly, I don't know why I keep going to the Troy Road location. Love the staff. Very patient and they all work very hard. They get so much heat from rotten and crazy customers with unattainable expectations. Also, for every bad review here, how many great experiences did people have in which they were just too lazy to take time to mention things went well? Keep all that in mind when you are evaluating this store. Sometimes it really is crappy customers causing the trouble. Anyway, like I said, the staff works hard to make the customers happy. This is the third time they've got my food wrong in a row and I wanted a number seven they gave me just one cheeseburger. And it was brunt and hard as a rock had black shit in it. Tasted a few hours old.. And the customer service went downhill this girl at the window didn't say a word and just hands your food and stares to you. She probably knew it was wrong I didn't have time to go back inside because my kids were with me. One of the worst locations I've been too. DISASTER... we were given food that the crack head dropped on the ground as he stumbled to give us our food in the driveway. He keep looking at us like bag was going to jump up and get in the car. They said they would get another one made.. not sorry.. ( the driver behind us deceives to pick up the bag and place it on the window ledge) We get our newly made order in 2 minutes tops.. guess what? Well what can i say ? its Mcdonalds. I may eat at a micky d's once every 5 years or so . i ate here a couple weeks back due to nothin else open and i was hungry and its close to my house. So what can i say ....hmmmm, well its open 24/7 i was surprised to know that. The service was fairly quick. The cheese was not melted on sandwich tho. and the fries quickly lost their heat.and were cool by the time i drove home. about a mile away. My dog liked the fries tho and didn't care if they were cool. definatley a good last resort stop .The food still tates the same as it did 25 years ago just cost more. read more

Today there was a levsnow emergency and I was simply walking and fell down and bruised my ribs and was taken to Grady memorial for treatment. Upon leaving the roads are a little bit better and we decide to take a chance on McDonald's and this McDonald's the last three times we've been there has had very hot food very quick service very good customer service and today alone had only three people working and I commend them for braving the weather and helping to provide the customer service that they always do. I gave 1 star because there are no zero stars. Traveling and stopped to get Carmel frappe a d breakfast burrito. They were out of breakfast burritos So I ordered the frappe , gave the girl a $20 she put it in the drawer and started counting pennies? I stood there for several minutes and she finally said in a small whisper I need 5's Manager did not respond, another minute she whispers again I need 5's still no response. So I asked can I just cancel and get my money back? She said wait a minute and shut the drawer and walked away. This location is slow 24/7. Their staff is not attentive or polite. They also love to give people cold fries. I'd rather drive a little farther and go to the one on 23. I've had multiple good experiences with the staff at this location. Talked to a very nice man a couple months ago and cleared up some confusion with no issues. I've never really had an issue with food being grossly incorrect. But it's McDonalds, so there definitely have been issues with service and wait times in the past. Still solid though. read more

To start with, I don't expect great food from McDonalds. But this location is flat-out terrible. Glaciers move faster than their employees (who couldn't care less) the sandwiches are just thrown together, and the food is frequently cold by the time you get to the pickup window. Four weeks ago we got a to-go breakfast and our two orders of hashbrowns were not in the bag. My husband called and the person he talked to said she would put it in "the book" so we could get them the next time we were in. Today we went again for breakfast and asked for the two forgotten hashbrowns. The manager barely looked in "the book" and said she didn't see it. She also said she couldn't give us our hashbrowns because I didn't know the name of the person we talked to. I don't think this system works well if they won't even take the time to look in the book. My husband was sure that the person on the phone recorded it because she asked how to spell his name as she wrote it down. Check your bag before you leave because if they put a forgotten item in "the book" you'll never get it. I am really disappointed in this McDonalds experience. read more

Went to McDonald's in Milford,De today for a Frappe. I was owed eleven cents change. I was told there was no change and the window was shut. I know 11cents is not much,it is the point. I don't go there much anymore because their chicken nuggets are no longer any good and have found going back the people who take your money are rude. Husband got me a strawberry milkshake on his way home. I take a sip, and tell him it tastes really artificial. I have him take a sip, telling him I've never seen a strawberry shake with black stuff at the bottom. Turns out, there was a squirt of chocolate in my strawberry shake. My husband said the guy probably put a squirt of chocolate in, realized it was supposed to be strawberry, and just kept making the shake. It didn't even taste like strawberry. :( Quality control & inaccuracy plague this location 24/7...which is hilarious considering they aren't really open 24/7. Only go to to this location if I'm a hurry. Will drive out of my way to the one on 23 for a better all-around product & service. read more

My family has gotten food poisoning every time we've gone, as recent as yesterday. Not to mention they're either clueless on the online ordering or just plain lazy. Should be able to leave 0 stars, seriously accused us of stealing chicken wraps, ordered 2 orders of chicken wraps which is 4 total drove probably 2 mins away my friend checked the bag and we literally had 1 wrap and 2 fries. Went right back and the fat one with the colored hair told us she knows for a fact there was 4 wraps so apparently we steal chicken wraps for a living. This McDonald's is horrible. I can't believe they have the nerve to serve cold stale fries on a continual basis. This is one item on the menu that McDonald's is infamous for and they can't get that right. I just left there and my husbands fish sandwich was swimming in tartar sauce. He had to switch out buns from home to have a decent sandwich. Come on McDonalds, I worked for you as a teenager and this type of service never happened. The oil was changed nightly and cold stale fries never went out the store.
