We stopped on our road trip shortly after the drive thru AND dining room were supposed to be open and the doors were all locked, the drive thru menus were all off, but there were cars in the back. Were they employees? Were they just people sitting there at 0500? The hours are posted on Google, on Apple Maps, and on the door and they all match but clearly the employees didn't get the memo. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. But since I can't they get one. I went to the drive-through and I was sitting at the order window COM thing For about 3 minutes before I said hello with no response and then I said hello again and she said I will be right with you maam honestly I think that if you cant get to a customer right away you should say Ill be right with you versus making me sit there in silence looking like a complete idiot while theres a bunch of people behind me. And then when I was ordering she said is that it no its not it I had a big order and she seem to be very rude about it and all my fries were cold they seemed like they were sitting there for hours. My daughters cheeseburger was also cold yeah had to warm that up that was gross. My McChicken was it pretty hard honestly the only thing I think that was good of the whole thing was the apple slices and Apple juice in the happy meal. because they didnt make them. Went here to get a shamrock shake because I am ginger and I deserve to have part of my culture during the month of March. These teenage hooligans working here got it all wrong. There is way too much mint syrup in my shamrock shake. It is physically hard to get down. I am so disappointed. I paid $4 for a shake that tastes radioactive. Out of 20 reviews this receives one star and that's overrated for its performance and friendliness. to say the women's room was dirty would be giving it a complement it did not deserve. The ice machine looks like you poured I don't know what down the side of it and the black tape on it holding it together I'm sure is sanitary grade. read more

Went inside to have lunch with the grandkids. Only have kiosk ordering inside which in itself is a pain. There was an elderly woman standing in lobby with cash in hand who received absolutely no assistance from any employee or management. After finally placing our order at kiosk (which specifically asks you which table you are at and told food would be delivered to our table) we had to pick up at counter. Lobby tables were disgusting garbage was overflowing and there were no straws napkins or large soda lids at the counter Convenient location right off expressway but save yourself a lot of aggravation and head on down to the next McDonalds. read more

I have gone here often for breakfast on my way to work, service is very slow in drive through, they dont say anything at the window, just hold out their hand. dont ever count on getting hash browns that are hot or even warm, always cold I stopped there last evening to pick up food for my grandson he wanted a cheeseburger plain, it came with everything on it. I parked and went inside to be ignored for a couple minutes, finally got it right with no apologies. service and food has gone way downhill in the past couple years. Went inside because nobody was answering the drive thru for 10 min. Took 5 min before someone came out of the kitchen to take my order. I watched the guy making my sandwich only use one glove and even proceed to take a piece of bacon off and eat it in the middle of making my sandwich. Do not recommend stopping here read more

WAKE UP... Management needs to step in and whip this place back into shape. Stood at counter for two minutes waiting to place an order while person responsible for taking order finished her discussion with another employee. Then I had to ask for two items that were not on my tray with my order. While eating I, and everyone else in restaurant, got to hear about personal issue between employee on the clock and apparently another who stopped in as a customer. Not the McDonalds of old. Used to have high level of customer focus and elevated level of professionalism... not at this one. Will drive a few miles down the road to the next one in the future. Just stopped for a quick Diet Coke at the drive thru as I was passing through. Bill was $1.06. Handed the girl a $5. She gave back .94 cents and said have a good day. We knocked on the window and said I think you owe us a little more $. Took a good 5 minutes to get our correct change...she handed it out the window without even looking at us or apologizing. Long time resident of Deforest. This McDonalds has a history of poor mangement, slow service, and orders are wrong on a regular basis. Your best bet is to try one of the other numerous fast food restaurants in the area. read more

Slow service. Manager on duty was working hard as fast as he could but had no one to help. Then a girl walked up from elsewhere and started taking orders slowly. Either employees failed to show up for work or management failed to schedule enough workers. It's Saturday morning on Memorial Day weekend and this place is in the center of a tourist transportation corridor. Is the labor budget getting the nod over simple service?? Today for example I had to leave the drive thru line which I feel bad doing but I literally sat in the line with only 3 cars ahead of me for over 10 minutes. This McDonaldl's is right off I-94 at Exit 126 in DeForest. It's a new building with new bathrooms. The bathroom decor is nice, but on the day I came through here, it was not clean. Service was good, and the food was standard McDonald's fare. There's a convenient but slightly pricey BP next door. I've decided that this is not the best stretch along 94 for McDonald's. They're nicer in the Dells, but gas will be more expensive too. read more

My granddaughter called to ask the price of hotcakes. She is ten. The person who answered hung up on her. She called and asked again and he hung uo on her again! I called and asked him the price and he yelled "check the App!" and hung up on me! I called back and asked him why he hung up on me and he told me he was "busy" as it was lunch hour and hung up on me again! I then proceeded to drive over there to ascertain young Jessie's name so I could complain to the franchise owner and you guessed it he was a total little jerk! This is the slowest McDonald's ever. Every time it takes about 20 minutes to get food. Last time food was cold. The fish sandwich didn't have the original bun. PICK ANY OTHER PLACE BUT HERE. Not only did they not I've us all the food we paid for. They also didn't give us the receipt to prove that they didn't give us all the food. The worker was rude, but that was because they where understaffed. All of the toilets where backed up in the women's bathroom. Basically it takes almost complete incompetence to get a fast food restaurant this bad. No apology was given even though we had to walk in and wait to get our food order fixed. This was one of the worst McPeriences Ive had. The customer service was absolutely horrible from management. I went in to get an order corrected, and the manager slammed the sandwich in the trash. On top of that, she didn't allow me to finish the specification of what i ordered, and as a result brought me the wrong sandwich again! Very cold reception as well. If I could give them no stars I would. I went for breakfast and ordered an Egg McMuffin. It was horrible! They substituted cheap ingredients for traditional McDonalds food and I could tell from the very first bite. I can say with 100% certainty that the English muffin and the cheese this McDonalds uses are cheap substitutes and thus did not taste like an Egg McMuffin at all. The egg was fine but the rest was crap. Stay on the highway and go to the next exit with a McDonalds. The whole point of McDonalds is knowing that no matter which one you stop at you will receive that same tasty McDonalds food. These people are using the McDonald's name to cash in using cheap substitute ingredients. Very disappointing!! read more
