I'm sure the staff's trying but this is one of the worst fast food places I've been to. I haven't gone too often, maybe a handful of times a yr, mainly bc I keep hoping they'll do better and it might be getting worse. Our orders are *always* inaccurate (even tried using the app): the food and drinks are either wrong, "off" (like flat soda, watery grainy coffee), old/cold or just plain missing. Regardless of what all the naysayers write about this McDonalds I find it no worse nor better than any other one I've been in. The chicken sandwich I had was very good. Will go back again when in the mood for a chicken sandwich. read more

More often than not, one of the two drive thru lanes will be coned off (closed) if you show up after 7:00 at night, even during supper rush. There have been multiple times when I've come to the drive thru prior to the midnight closing time, only to be told that they closed at 10:30 due to being short staffed (no sign posted or anything - I even had a to sit and wait a few minutes to get a response at all). Lastly, the drive thru menu is a set of large LED monitors at full brightness. If you do decide to order from the drive thru after sunset, bring sunglasses . read more

The place is in a very good location for doing alot of business here in the town of decorah. They have fast service and the restaurant is very clean. The staff does their job very well and are also all very friendly!! The store manage seems to be doing his job very well. read more

I'd your looking for a decently fast brunch this is the place to go. However they do mess up on orders once in a while probably because they are so busy. My favorite thing to get here is a quarter pounder with only lettuce and bigmac sauce. But that's just me. I hope others like the this McDonald's as much as I do. read more

If I could I would rate this place less than one star. There has not been a single time that I have gone to this McDonald's and gotten my correct order. I have paid for things and then never received them. They have filled my fry container only half full and called it done. Just over all the service is horrible. Now the for the interior it is always filthy I'm surprised they haven't gotten a health code violation. Nuggetless. I ordered nuggets at 11:43 pm and after an hour of waiting they came up and told us that they were closed. Needless to say I got a refund but didn't get my food.
