Almost made the opening of the one in Marietta GA when we went down to visit my Son and his family but missed the opening by a couple of day. Tried the one in Hickory which was one of the first to open in the area. Had a line but traffic moved at a good pace. Ordered the Double Meat Whataburger and I must say that it was very good although I prefer my Onions sliced and not chopped. Meat patties were cooked very well and were flavorful. Tomatoes and lettuce were fresh and not wilted. The Combo came with fries and a drink. Fries were crisp and properly salted. Most burger chains in the area skimp on the salt. All in all, very satisfied and will definatly come agin.

I have had food missing a couple of times from my to-go orders- I call and return to the restaurant and I've gotten my food replaced and they give me a couple coupons for the trouble- which does entice me to come back. I've never had an issue with service at this location. The food is always hot and fresh- and if it's not (such as fries or onion rings)then they will replace the fries or onion rings with hot fresh ones. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Their app is also very easy to navigate to place online orders. Whataburger is family friendly and casual. My fiance really likes the whatawings, and patty melts. I really like the spicy chicken sandwich and the honey butter chicken biscuit. I definelty feel like I get a good value for my money- they constantly offer deals on the app and if you order in person and keep your receipt you can get a free Whataburger with purchase of a medium side and a medium drink- so you can end up getting a combo meal for about $6.

The lady working the register with orange glasses kept cutting us off when we tried to ask questions about the menu. When I asked about an item, her response came across as passive aggressive instead of helpful. We also asked for some extra sauce, and she told us no because she had mobile orders to fill first, even though the sauce was right behind her. Another thing that stood out was when my sister was paying, the cashier asked if she had the exact change so she wouldn't have to do the math. Overall, the food was okay, but the service wasn't very friendly and made the experience less enjoyable than it should have been. The restaurant was also very cold and dark inside. Would not go back simply because of the customer service from the lady working the register !

At the time we arrived, it was self seating, but we found a table easy and a waitress came up immediately. She was a lovely lady, polite and efficient. The coleslaw was good. I had the Buffalo Bomb and paid a little extra to have it as a wrap. It was So Good. Stuffed full, and the wrap was tender. Saucy but just the right amount of sauce. I had the White Cheddar macaroni and cheese as my side and it was satisfyingly good. Honestly, walking in? I had no idea what I wanted to eat. But what I ordered and ate was exactly was I was wanting. Hah! Even the portion sizes were just right and priced very appropriately. The bar portion of the pub looked quite lively and there was an upstairs that I wasn't able to check out. The bathrooms were one-seaters, but were roomy and accessible and very clean. I definitely recommend this pub if you are in the area for a drink and some good food.
