It's McDonald's you know what you are getting. What can be in question is the speed of service and accuracy of the order. For me it is nearly midnight and I just got off a plane and headed to the hotel. I wanted a quick bite to eat. The drive thru line was crazy long. After about a 8-10 minute wait I was able to drive away. The order was correct. I asked for a water and got a rather large cup compared, it seemed like a medium beverage. What did I learn today? Went through the drive-through tried to order my food. The lady could not hear me when I told her my code so I repeated myself several times. I did not give her an attitude or say anything about having to repeat myself multiple times and she proceeded to tell me off because she couldn't hear me. I pulled into the drive-through, which was empty, and waited at the intercom. After saying hello, I was told to "give them a minute," even though there were no cars ahead of me. When I finally got a response, the employee asked what I wanted. I gave my mobile order code, but he ignored me and asked again what I wanted. I repeated the code, and his reply--given with attitude--was, "What do you want?" At that point, I was frustrated with the poor service and told him I didn't want anything anymore. His response again carried attitude. I drove up to the window to ask for a manager, but none of the employees would respond. Eventually, a young lady came over--though I highly doubt she was the actual manager. I asked for the drive-through employee's name, and she refused to give it. She only gave me her own name. When I requested the owner-operator's information, she went inside for quite a while before returning with just a receipt and a phone number, still refusing to provide the owner's name. I ended up having to call corporate while sitting in the drive-through to escalate the issue, and I'm still waiting on a call back from management. If you're traveling through Midway Airport, do yourself a favor and skip this location. Poor service, dismissive employees, and likely poor food quality as well. You'll have a better experience across the street at the new Taco Bell, where service and food are far superior. read more

This McDonald's is absolutely horrible, I first started coming here about 3 weeks ago, from then I have got my order wrong several times. But as of recently I decided to make it simpler for them and order plain double cheeseburgers or double cheeseburgers with only ketchup. Not only do they park me for 5 minutes when all I order is a two pieces of meat between buns but they fail to pay attention to detail in what they are producing on the food line. Okay, see, here's the thing. I don't mean to single out just one location because I think they all do this: normally, the "Sausage McMuffin" is on the breakfast dollar menu and you always just pay $1. But occasionally, they run a "deal", kinda like the McRib is occasionally. The deal is "buy a Sausage Biscuit full price, get a McMuffin for a dollar". That isn't a deal, that's a trick to get me to buy more! Temporarily, the Sausage McMuffin is off the dollar menu, though, so if you really want one you wind up doing it anyway, like me (oh, the craving, plus I just bought apple butter and Google recommended putting it on biscuits and sausage). Ordered a #1 (as is) didnt add or take anything out. I ordered this in the drive thru and from ordering to pickup took over 10mins. They asked me to pull up and 5 cars behind me got their order. I wouldn't normally bash McDonald's because, well, it's McDonald's. But today..... today was something else. Midnight hunger strikes and I go to get me some mickey D's. Of course, have to get an apple pie. I get home super excited to devour this pie and *GASP* what in the absolute hell is this? My apple pie has "I love you" written on the carton with a drawing of what I assume is a dog or something. I'm sitting there staring at this like...is this a joke? Was I set up?
