Food's fine; they don't pay attention to what you say; i ordered a 10 nugget MEAL - i specified and said "10 nugget MEAL" and i got no fries. Horrible service and raw, undercooked burgers (see photo). Saturday afternoon... ordered and paid using the kiosk. Kiosk has step-by-step instructions that has customer enter the order number from the plastic table-tent sign, pay, and then have a seat at a table because your order will be brought out to you. I sat at a table directly across from cashier's counter and placed the table-tent sign noticeably at the end of the table facing the employees. I waited and waited. I watched multiple other customers place orders at the counter and receive their food. And I'm still waiting. After 12 minutes (yes, I timed it on my tablet) I went to the counter to inquire about my order. The cashier looks around for a minute or so, and finds my food on a tray pushed off to the side of the counter in the kitchen. No one had even attempted to bring my food out; they left it sit and get cold. I take my food to my table and wait for my drink to be brought out. That never happened. After waiting 5 minutes, I head back to the cashier's counter to inquire about my drink. The cashier handed me an empty cup to get my own drink. At this point, I ask to speak to a manager. When I explain the situation, the manager replied that I get my food when I pay at the counter. I explained, "I paid at the kiosk and the kiosk instructions say that my order will be Brought Out To The Table." She responded with a pathetic "Sorry 'bout that." The employees seem to be dumb-founded as to handling orders from the kiosk. I fill my cup at the soda machine and sit back down at the table. I go to pick up my burger and see that it is completely red-pink, RAW, UNDERCOOKED!! See photo I posted. Immediately, I go to the counter and ask for a manager. A different manager comes out and I explain the whole ordeal--the entire 17 minutes. The manager argues that it was not 17 minutes, that it was less than 7 minutes. I offered to show her my receipt (for the time stamp). I gave her the food, she saw it was severely undercooked. As she processed my refund, she stated that they "have been having problems with that." O.M.G. I'm not the first customer to complain about this issue?? You already knew?? Yet you continue to serve raw, undercooked burgers to more customer?? Are profits so important to McDs that they blatantly disregard customers' health and safety?? I leave the restaurant and go to my car where I look at the order receipt and refund receipt. Ordered at 2:36pm and refunded at 2:55pm. Hmm, 19 minutes elapsed completely validating what I timed (17 minutes)!! Side note: pay attention to the food you are eating and not your phone or tablet. I was surfing on my tablet and hadn't noticed at first bite the raw, undercooked burger. Extreme yuck. read more

I havent been to a McDonalds in quite a long time but this morning I decided I would like pancakes. I remember theirs to be pretty good. I walked in, instead of drive thru, to be greeted by the self serve machines. I don't care for these i want to talk to an individual. I go to the counter. I waited and finally a young man came up to take my order. I told him what I wanted and he proceeds to tell me "we stop serving breakfast at 10:30, sorry". It was 10:32. Out of all the fast-food restaurants in Chatham, McDonald's is the most consistent when it comes to food quality and service. I have been consistently happy with all of my visits to this McDonald's over the past 8 months. They have a wonderful crew working there. The employees who take my order inside are always friendly, polite and professional. My order is always correct and my food is always fresh and hot. Ok, I haven't reviewed this McDonald's store before because I don't expect much from inexperienced or entry level restaurant staff whom I pay only a few dollars to. However, I have not been back here for a long time...except for an ice cream cone. The reason for this is that my ex-usual sandwich increased about .50 for no reason. When on the go, and therefore eating in my car, I would order a Dbl Cheeseburger with only mayo and lettuce. The 1st thing they did was increase the price if you want 2 cheese slices...I understood that and had been fine with only 1 slice. Businesses have to increase prices occasionally. Some of you may have recognized where the price gouging came in. I started getting charged for the mayo and lettuce, even though I didn't expend the ketchup, mustard, pickle, and onion. Surely lettuce costs more than onion but trading out 4 condiments for only 2? I have even asked if I should get a discounted price instead (as a joke...but it makes sense). The store is clean and the line well maintained (I actually was asst mgr here many years ago and it looks just as nice now) and the staff have always been courteous. So, if you don't mind ordering things as listed on the menu or don't mind paying 40% more for a semi-pleasing sandwich this may be the place for you. I won't go back. ----by the way, McDonald's on S. This McDonald's is by far one of the rudest ones. I don't know how many times when going through drive thru the employees never say thank you. And they are just rude in general! Learn some manners and customer service! And today I went there for breakfast and I got and egg McMuffin and the egg was still runny. It wasn't just a little bit...it was A LOT!! So disgusting!!!! Almost Nine years and I've never had a drive-thru order that wasn't jacked up! It is comical at this point. Relatively small store. The drive thru can get VERY busy during peak times. Traffic in and out sometimes hectic because of the crappy 2 lane highway through town it's situated on. Staffed with teenagers in evenings/on weekends but they are usually pretty friendly and courteous. read more

The drive thru was moving rather fast considering that it was busy but when I got my lemonade my good mood was destroyed. I was beyond mad it tasted like one of those lemonades in a prank video with mac and cheese powder with water instead of lemonade flavoring. Horrible service! I have had many bad experiences here. They always open at 5:00, and there was one morning when I pulled up to the drive through at 6:00. One of the employees got on the speaker and said they weren't open yet because they were running behind from the previous day! This was an hour after they were supposed to be open! I'm sure they got a big fine. There have been a few different times when they couldn't give me a frappe because the machine wasn't working or they were cleaning it, and this was also around 6:00 in the morning. Seriously! I think they just refused to make one for me. There was also another morning when I waited 5-10 minutes. Me and a few other people pulled out of the drive through. I had to get to work. This place just has awful management, and I have given them multiple chances. Now I'm questioning why I have. I wouldn't go to this place. Save yourself the trouble. read more

This is a okay place. They are mostly made up of high school students. But it takes 10 minutes for the drive thru when not busy.

I"m typically not one to complain about a McDonalds; you typically get what you pay for. But my experiences with this place have been especially disappointing and odd. No matter what I order or at what time (coffee at breakfast, burgers/fries for lunch), they pull me forward. On two separate occasions they have asked me to pull forward with no one in the drive-thru behind me. I would suggest avoiding this place and going to another McDonalds or the Hardees across the street if you are in a hurry or want even a hint of good customer service. read more

i totally agree with the comment from 05/05 18 -- obviously the owner doesn't care 1 bit about customer satisfaction -- unfortunately i've been coming the to location for over a year , ordering the exact same meal every time -- EVERYTHING starts from the top -- owners only care about the bottom line , managers only care about targets and bonuses , line crew only care about putting in their time - earlier this week i sat waiting for my order , when i finally got it i went to my office to find that it was the wrong order - i went back up to the store and talked to the manager - he apologized and told the cooks to make the correct order ( i heard) - got back to the office and guess what , it was wrong again --- today i waited for my daily order for at least 15 minutes - someone finally brought it to me , wrong order - i went in to complain again - the person that brought the order out also brought the wrong order to someone else -- they then began to discuss how things are wrapped and labeled -- i ended up 20 minutes late to work......i could chalk this up to a bad week for this location but it happens all of the time..........i would not recommend this location to anyone read more

DON'T GO TO McDonald's in Chatham. For starters, food is crap. Menu prices never match what they end up charging you. My wife likes their Iced Coffee's so I have no choice but to stop and get her those. So, this morning I decided yet again to give them a chance. Had some coupons out of SJ-R, order Large Carmel Latte (Coupon $1 Off), Large Iced Coffee (Coupon $1 Off), Two Steak Bagels (Coupon Buy 1 Get 1) and a Egg Delight Muffin (No Coupon). Got to the window and girl asked me "how many in your car"? I said, why would you ask me that, no greeting, no total, no please, no smile, nothing. So, she tells me it is one (1) Coupon per person, which one did I want back? I said, you can't be serious, I could drive around and reorder and use every coupon on this sheet and I asked for a manager. Girl tells me it would not matter, that they are his rules. So I took my coupons and drove off with a message to the manager to keep his food and coffee drinks and I would keep my $18.00. Went across street to Hardee's, had coupons which they gladly took without question. Spent $9.75 at Hardee's for really good food and drove all the way to Springfield to get Starbucks for another $8.00. Still less than McDonald's WITH Coupons and actually got great service, good tasting food and no hassles. so DON'T GO TO MacDonald's IN CHATHAM, ILLINOIS.....EVER! read more
